As a Programme and Impact Lead, you will manage our team of Programme Managers and be responsible for managing some of our larger grant awards, that include more complex evaluation designs.

You’ll be responsible for making sure our delivery organisations can effectively engage with robust, independent evaluations, so we have the best chance of generating valuable learning from a round. And may also be responsible for directly managing our independent evaluators as well.

You must have a strong understanding of evaluation methodologies and challenges organisations face in delivery. You must also be a brilliant project manager, great at manging and developing people and external stakeholders, energised by tackling complex problems and really care about the YEF’s mission to build evidence of what works.

 You will:

· Manage large-scale complex projects. You’ll be responsible for managing programmes of a significant size and complexity. You’ll draw on your experience of managing large scale projects and knowledge of evaluations to overcome unexpected challenges.

· Serve as the strategic right hand for the Assistant Director of Impact, Programmes and Partnerships. You’ll deputise for the Assistant Director of Impact, Programmes and Partnerships. You will also take responsibility for making key decisions in funding rounds and with specific programmes.

· Support delivery organisations to take part in robust evaluation. You’ll make sure the team are excellent at supporting delivery organisations to engage with robust evaluation.

· Lead strategic areas of work You’ll develop and embed a clear strategy for distinctive areas of work that will enable us to achieve our mission.

About Us

Unfold is an established local charity (previously known as Westminster Befriend a Family), supporting young people and families to reach their potential, identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring. We support families and young people in Westminster and its neighbouring boroughs with mentoring programmes and peer support groups for women with children.

For 30 years, we have been providing support to vulnerable families who are at risk of social exclusion. Working with a network of trained and DBS checked volunteers, we offer mentoring to women with children and young people, building independence and getting them where they want to be.

Roles and Responsibilities 

Supporting the planning and delivery of volunteer strategy with the aims of 1) Increasing the number of volunteers available to us as we grow and expand geographically and develop programme focus; 2) Diversifying our volunteers; 3) Improving volunteer experience and; 4) Increasing volunteer retention.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager with drive, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills to join our small but dynamic Programme Management Office (PMO). The Project Manager will co-ordinate delivery of a small portfolio of projects within the Agile framework and will need to overcome challenges, escalate issues and risks and drive momentum. A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects.  This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).

About the Role

Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.

· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.

· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media

· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements. 

· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all support groups are accessible and inclusive.

· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.

· Coordinate and deliver the Equipment Hire Service across the Borough.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a community-based role, travel across Hackney will be required, with some home working.

Micro Rainbow is looking for an Individual Giving Manager to create an individual giving and fundraising strategy for the organisation. In this newly created position, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individual supporters to make a difference to the lives of LGBTQI refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. As Individual Giving Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and upgrade Micro Rainbow’s allies (individual donors), ensuring a steady and growing stream of funding and contributing to the sustainability of Micro Rainbow.

This role requires a candidate with a strong background in building relationships and identifying and developing new prospects. They will need experience in the development of strategic and creative giving programmes and to be excited at the prospect of pursuing new opportunities for the organisation by engaging with individual and major donors, and high net worth individuals.

You will:

• Provide support for the Service Manager in the Wandsworth Floating Support Team. 
• Work directly with a small caseload of service users, delivering support to enable independence and mental health recovery. 
• Carry out and evidence regular assessments of support needs; drawing up, implementing, monitoring and reviewing support plans, risk assessment and outcomes monitoring. 
• Promote independence, wellbeing, inclusion, and resilience. 
• Provide line management and ‘hands-on’ support to the staff team when complex support issues arise, or breaches of tenancy occur and take charge when there is a major incident. 

You are:

• Someone with at least two years’ experience within a visiting support, supported housing team and/or a floating support team. 
• Knowledgeable and experienced in working directly with people with mental health needs, including experience of working in a recovery-based service.
• Able to support planning and mental health recovery approaches with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Experienced in working across multi-agency approaches to health, including social services, landlords, and other service providers.
• Able to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team.
• Someone with a wide range of life experience, effective communication skills, and able to demonstrate degree level academic experience.
• Competent in using computer programmes and databases.

Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. These may include housing, living skills, accessing benefits or the community, or other interventions and will be on a person-centred basis. The main aim of the service is to provide short-term support to customers to link with longer-term services to reduce escalations in need, and reduce inpatient readmission and reduce pressure on inpatient beds.

What you'll do:

* Assessing referrals received by the service, within the 4-hour target, and providing rapid response to these.
* Inducting new customers, and helping orient them to the community and local area
* Completing/supporting housing referrals as required, supporting customers with budgeting tools and providing support to customers in accessing any benefits or addressing any issues such as benefits.
* Building a relationship with the local borough and any key agencies. For example: no recourse to public funds teams, homelessness teams, community mental health teams etc.
* Support planning, including ward management liaison, medication profiles and medication reviews as required, identifying the goals and steps to support customers to manage their own support and risk and ensuring these are correctly documented within Look Ahead's paperwork.

1. Client Support
