Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Planning
   • Develop, implement, and refine a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with IAC UK’s mission and objectives.

   • Plan and execute a variety of fundraising events, online campaigns, and community initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

5. Budget & Financial Oversight
   • Prepare and manage the fundraising budget, monitoring income targets and expenditure.
   • Compile regular progress reports for senior leadership and trustees, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
      
6. Compliance & Governance
   • Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with UK regulations, GDPR requirements, and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
   • Maintain accurate records and documentation to enable transparent reporting and auditing.
      
7. Team Leadership & Collaboration
   • Lead, mentor, and motivate a small fundraising team, setting clear objectives and managing performance.
   • Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Events, Finance) to integrate fundraising efforts into the wider organisational strategy.

• Demonstrable experience (3+ years) in a fundraising or development role within the charity or not-for-profit sector.

• Ensure that SharePoint libraries are aligned with the organisation's information classification framework and DLP strategies.

Intranet Development and Implementation:

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of an organisational intranet to enhance internal communication, collaboration, and information sharing.

• Define and document the intranet’s structure, features, and functionality, including user roles, content management, and search capabilities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure the intranet meets user needs and supports organisational goals.

Data Security and Compliance:

• Ensure all data management practices comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and organisational policies.

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in data storage and transmission.

• Maintain documentation of data security protocols, risk assessments, and compliance activities.

Training and Awareness:

The Role

The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This is a role that requires strategic thinking, relationship and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet income targets.

This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The person will be responsible for communicating effectively with corporate partners on a strategic level, to understand how we can improve our volunteering offer and communicate impact to their business.

The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.

In this position you will scope fundraising opportunities from grant and trusts, and be adept at assessing our viability so that applications we submit have a higher rate of success than average.

As Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, you will create new income streams which The Switch has not considered before, for example legacy funding, individual giving, corporate match funding. This will improve our financial stability.

In addition to income generation, this role will lead the Partnerships team and manage two to three staff as follows :

1. Our Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Manager - oversees all volunteer logistics, including maintaining volunteer records and distributing relevant briefing materials to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their role. Some time dedicated to fundraising too.

2. Our Communication Coordinator – leads on our regular comms including our digital newsletter, social media pages, and bespoke comms for projects or funders.

· The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising leads the Partnerships Team and reports to the CEO.

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays.

· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 days a week, with Wednesdays mandatory in the office.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Research Impact Officer to help us understand, communicate and accelerate the impact of the research we fund.

This role sits in the Research Impact and Engagement Team. You’ll be working at the heart of how we track the progress of completed research projects, share success stories and support researchers in turning their findings into ways to improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer. You’ll take responsibility for half of our portfolio of completed research projects. This means building strong relationships with funded researchers, understanding how their work is progressing, and supporting them to achieve meaningful impact for men affected by prostate cancer. Using your scientific knowledge and communication skills you’ll translate research outputs into clear, engaging stories to demonstrate the value of our work. Using your understanding of the steps needed to take research from bench to bedside you’ll help monitor the success of our completed research portfolio.

What we want from you

This role is a vital part of how we deliver on our mission, to stop prostate cancer harming men and their families. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about research making an impact and hold a bio-medical science degree (or a degree in a related subject), with research experience. You can understand complex scientific information presented in reports, publications or presentations and explain these complex concepts in a simple and engaging way to a range of audiences including peers within the charity, as well as men affected by the disease. You’ll be motivated to consistently perform to the highest standards, with an eagerness to trial new ideas, identify new opportunities and solve problems.

In any one day you could be helping develop an impact case study for the website, interviewing researchers for project updates, supporting delivery of a research event, or using social media to disseminate the work of our funded researchers. Your primary focus will be on the impact of our funded research, working closely with colleagues in the Research Impact and Engagement Team, as well as working closely with our research funding team, and with other teams across the charity.

We have two court-based offices, at the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand, and at the Central Family Court on High Holborn, although we mainly now provide advice by telephone and can therefore support people who are accessing any court in England and Wales. This vital role provides a high quality first point of contact and initial triage service which includes dealing with requests for advice made in person at our two central London Courts, via our website, by email, by telephone or a referral internally or from a third party. We are open every day for in-person enquiries, although advice is provided by appointment only.

The role will also support an online appointment booking system for clients accessing services, and general administration of our legal advice services including administering the pro bono legal advice rotas and collecting and sharing information and paperwork between clients and legal advisers.

About this role

We’re looking for a Services Development Manager to help shape and grow CALM’s non-helpline services. You’ll play a key role in evolving our digital-first support offer, developing impactful services, and building our evidence base all rooted in insight, research and real-life experiences.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead the development of new and existing support services.
• Work across CALM’s data, product, marcoms and fundraising teams.
• Collaborate with external partners to build referral pathways.
• Embed safeguarding, evaluation and impact across everything you do.
• Help secure funding and shape strategy for future growth.

Who we are looking for
You’ll have experience in suicide prevention, mental health or a related field, and be confident developing evidence-based services that put users first. You’ll be collaborative, values-led, and always thinking about how to do things better. You’ll be strategic and hands-on able to turn insight into action and deliver real impact.

What you will bring:

• A degree-level qualification in a social care or related field.
• Proven experience in service development and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of the suicide prevention/mental health sector.
• Strong track record of partnership working and impact measurement.
• A creative, curious and solution-focused mindset.

The Individual Giving Coordinator role:

Coeliac UK is looking for a passionate and organised Individual Giving Coordinator to support our Fundraising team to raise funds to support the charity’s work. The Individual Giving Coordinator will focus on growing our individual giving programme, ensuring a positive experience for existing donors, and attracting new supporters. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager, this role will support managing projects and work closely with data to deliver an outstanding supporter experience.

The fundraising team at Coeliac UK plays a crucial role in raising funds to support the charity’s work. The focus will be on growing our individual giving programme, ensuring a positive experience for existing donors and attracting new supporters. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager, you will support the delivery of newsletters, appeals and our raffles and weekly lottery. Responsible for increasing the number of regular donors, maintaining and upgrading relationships with existing supporters, and contributing to Coeliac UK’s overall fundraising goals.

Key responsibilities of the Individual Giving Coordinator:

• Coordinate the regular giving programme, ensuring smooth processes for donor sign-ups, payments, and communications
• Develop and deliver plans to increase the number of regular donors and meet fundraising goals
• Track and review programme performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
• Support the Individual giving manager to plan and execute fundraising campaigns to attract new regular givers and engage current supporters, including newsletters, appeals, raffle and lottery communications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the Individual Giving Coordinator:

We’re looking for a positive and confident person with excellent organisation and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge and passion for building excellent supporter and customer relationships
• Knowledge and experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
• Understanding of regular giving and fundraising practices
