The Role
This role is part of the Global Fundraising Team of over 50 staff. You will be responsible for planning and managing a digital fundraising portfolio including paid and organic advertising, Shop and eCommerce products, and Community and Events fundraising.

You will manage the delivery of digital campaigns from start to finish, from budgeting and scheduling through to audience selection, agency and supplier briefing, copy and creative development, digital production, and reporting.

Working in conjunction with the Head of UK Fundraising, you will identify innovative opportunities for the development of the UK digital fundraising strategy.

Data and measurement to optimise results working with fundraising, digital, CRM teams and external suppliers to evaluate and report on digital product and campaign income, identifying KPls to optimise for regular and single growth income.

Process management to drive efficiencies you will champion best practice digital production systems, processes, and platforms to improve ways of working.

The Candidate
Track record of working on successful digital marketing, campaigns and communications ideally in a charity setting.

Experience of delivering digital marketing strategy and campaign management for lead generation, acquisition and retention that is audience-centric, rooted in insight and target driven.

Experience of working across a range of digital channels including paid and organic social media, Google Ads , web and email.

Hands-on experience of working with digital production, service providers and platforms to identify and deliver best-in-class digital solutions.

Experience of digital and data reporting and analysis, with track-record of acting on insights to achieve KPls and income targets.

Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders to support their digital marketing planning and communication delivery.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone to lead the Community team, a person who is able to juggle a busy workload with competing deadlines and someone who can be flexible and responsive when a major disaster occurs.

This role is responsible for leading on event and product innovations while supporting the team to develop best in class supporter journeys. We are looking for someone who has a vision for putting data at the heart of all decision making.

The individual should love working with people - be it the wider internal team, volunteers or fundraisers from across the country.

This is a key fundraising role and a great opportunity to inspire and engage with the wonderful supporters who enable ShelterBox to deliver its mission.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Deliver the community fundraising programme and continually monitor results, with particular focus on net income, Rotary engagement, supporter growth and the development of our volunteer network. Adjust and adapt plans accordingly.
• To set income and expenditure budgets for all community and events activity, monitoring industry and supporter trends, progress against budgets and reforecast income and expenditure as required.
• Set measurable KPIs for the Community and Events Team and objectively review the success and achievements against targets. Identify areas of risk and opportunity. Ensure contingencies are in place as appropriate.
• Strategically grow community income by identifying priority audiences and developing products/campaigns/communications to maximise the value of our existing supporters and to reach new ones. Ensure we remain relevant and future focused. To include the optimisation and mainstreaming of digital engagement.
• Continue to develop and test events, with the aim of growing our events portfolio, working closely with the Community Marketing and Events Officer.
• Embed evidence-based decision-making within the team, using insight and data to inform ways of working, and improving our use and adoptions of systems.
• Support team with stewarding high value community stakeholders, including the strategically important relationship with RGBI. Role model and support great relationship fundraising - leading by example to inspire high standards in the team.
• Lead the development of strategic plans to maximise our partnership with RGBI (including income, awareness and networking opportunities). Manage and support the Rotary Marketing and Engagement Officers to drive activity and performance. Work closely with the Rotary Partnership Manager to ensure plans and communications are aligned.
• Support Community Engagement Officer with the development and growth of our community volunteer network.
• Work with the Rotary Marketing Officer and Community Marketing and Events Officer to oversee the development of mass participation campaigns to engage target audiences (warm and cold) and grow income.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate major disaster plans for community audiences.
• Work across the team to review and develop 'donor journeys' in collaboration with the wider fundraising and Supporter Care team, ensuring an excellent supporter experience.
• Create an environment which supports the team to be confident in the contribution and development of new ideas for fundraising, ensuring we adopt a 'test and learn' approach through which people feel safe and supported to innovate.
• Ensure fundraising activity is carried out in accordance with current good practice and within charity law, managing contracts and agreements and providing advice to others.
• Represent the work of ShelterBox at events to members of the public and supporters, where necessary delivering presentations with occasional out of hours work required.
• Continue to develop a high performing team.
• Participate in the day-to-day work of the organisation - such as reporting, attending team meetings as required, and taking a flexible approach.

Policy and Public Affairs Manager

Key responsibilities

* Monitor and analyse developments in public policy and manage public affairs activity in line with our organisational strategy
* Write succinct and influential reports, consultation responses, briefings, articles and web pages on policy issues for a range of audiences
* Organise policy-focused events including managing invite lists, event logistics and related communications and messaging, working with the media team where necessary

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
* Ability to understand and articulate academic research and policy papers
* Excellent writing skills, including drafting policy papers and briefings
* Experience of public affairs and managing policy activity
* Experience of working in a policy-related role (e.g., charity, civil service)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
* Understanding of literacy / early years / education sector
* Understanding of local and/or national government structures and processes
* Experience of senior stakeholder management and partnership development, including cross-sector campaigns
* Intermediate quantitative skills (e.g., analysis of DfE datasets in Excel)
* Event management

The NLT team are passionate about their mission and have a strong and positive working culture, based on shared values and respect. This role is primarily home-based, but you will need to be able to attend the office in London (Vauxhall) at least 2-3 times a month and be willing and able to attend meetings, events and briefings in London on a regular basis. Travel to and from London is not covered by expenses, therefore you will need to be based within easy access to London.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:

• Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.

• Manage the end-to-end membership cycle (prospecting → onboarding → renewal), ensuring timely renewals and accurate CRM record-keeping.

Business Development

• Drive growth by identifying and securing new members, sponsors, and revenue opportunities.
• Own and report on a personal sales pipeline; meet or exceed agreed sales/retention targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to both new and existing members.
• Promote IWA by developing a network of influential contacts within political, economic, social, and water sector communities.

• Management of third parties’ contractors hired to complete facilities tasks, using method statements, risk assessments and a permit to work scheme.

The team:  

Working closely with and managing the Facilities Assistant, you will ensure Friends of the Earth meets the required Health and Safety standards. You will be part of our vital Infrastructure team, sitting within the Finance and Operations Directorate.

Respite and Care Executives play a significant role in enabling our beneficiaries to continue to be independent for as long as possible and when/if they require formal care, they can support them during this time too. They work closely with the Advocacy Team and the Friendships and Connections team to ensure that all their needs are met.

We are looking for a candidate to cover Maternity Leave for 14 months. They will work alongside the current post holder and the other team members for 2 months to learn the role and take over existing cases. They will form part of the existing Respite, Care and Advocacy Team and work closely with other members of the team as well as other colleagues in the Operations Directorate (mainly Welfare).

An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages as well as professionals such as external case working organisations, RAF stations, care providers, those who have lasting power of attorney (LPA). You must have an understanding of the social care system and the Mental Capacity Act.

The role is based in our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Standard DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About the Service

Our Nightlight Crisis House offers a safe, homely, and welcoming space for anyone feeling distressed and experiencing a crisis.

The Crisis Centre and rest of Nightlight Services (Café’s, Helpline, Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.

We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis cafes and 24/7 Crisis Centre. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.

As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.

The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Nightlight Mental health Crisis House are:

• To endeavour to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of people experiencing a mental health crisis across Hertfordshire.
• To provide 24/7 support for individuals experiencing mental health crisis in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
• To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire, by providing clear and effective pathways to other services provided by HMN and other third party and/or statutory providers.
• To remain a source of independent support for all Service Users.
• To provide an alternative pathway to people in distress and crisis, employing a person-centred approach in order to enable better outcomes for those in need as to reduce the demand on statutory Crisis and Emergency services.

About the Role

As a Crisis House Support Worker you will be a key member of staff supporting the delivery of the Nightlight mental health Crisis Service. You will take part in a rota which covers a 24/7 hour service, 365 days a year. Drawing upon your own lived and/or professional experience (where applicable,) in order to provide a mix of face-to-face, therapeutic and holistic support for those accessing overnight provision. You will work closely with other staff as part of a team in supporting the development of quality Crisis Support and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision.

We offer:

• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year pro rata, rising in increments to a max. of 29 days after 5 years employment (plus 8 days Bank Holidays)
