Key Responsibilities

Youth Programmes Management and Delivery

• Manage the operations of the charity’s youth programmes in London including our two Choices & Consequences exhibition sites, Youth Ambassador Programme and other projects.
• Deliver inspiring, high-quality workshops and help train others by modelling best practice and supporting their development
• Work closely with the team to maintain consistently high standards across all our programmes, playing a key role in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Take the lead on specific projects as needed, helping us grow and evolve our youth work in line with our mission.

Programme Development

• Assist with the review, shaping and strengthening our youth programmes by using insights from young people and service user feedback to inform ongoing development and improvement.
• Review, design and create engaging learning resources in collaboration with the Head of Programmes, including youth programmes and online resources for teachers and schools.
• Use feedback and evaluation data to support learning and improvement across the charity, and produce clear, insightful reports for internal use, stakeholders and funders.

People Management & Development

• Induction, training, development, performance management and line management for two direct reports (Youth Programmes Officers)
• Induction, training development and performance management of freelance facilitators and actors
• Work with the Head of Programmes to provide training to youth programmes delivery staff

Advocacy and Engagement

• Promote the work of the Ben Kinsella Trust and identify new leads and wider engagement in our workshops
• Represent the views of the Ben Kinsella Trust by speaking at public events
• Carry out any other reasonable duties in line with the role, as requested by your line manager, to support the smooth running of the charity

We are looking for an experienced communications professional to support us with creating engaging communications. You will be responsible for activities such as: 

• Developing compelling propositions
• Delivering the communications to support major gift prospect fundraising events, from creating invitations and shaping the themes, through to developing event materials and briefing speakers 
• Creating and editing a wide range of communications pieces for our major gift prospect audience, from written case studies through to web content and video

Following a successful rebrand and merger, we are now 15 months into building a future-focused people and culture function. In this newly created role, the Senior People and Culture Manager plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Money Ready’s people strategy through high-quality operational HR leadership. Working closely with Senior Management peers, the role ensures the smooth running of core people processes and contributes to a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.

With a coaching mindset, the post-holder acts as a trusted strategic business partner to senior managers, supporting them to align people practices with organisational goals and drive performance through effective people management.

This role balances day to day HR delivery with leading and contributing to broader people projects and initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing and organisational development. This role oversees recruitment administration, onboarding and offboarding, supports compliance, employee relations, HR systems management, intranet data and engagement initiatives. The postholder also supports development and delivery of HR led training in person, online and via the Articulate platform. Our clients are mostly long-term unemployed and have experienced repeated rejections from multiple jobs: 40% have been unemployed for over a year, 20% have applied to over 20 jobs and 23% have applied to over 50 jobs. The majority are also from minoritised communities and face intersectional barriers to employment: 32% are lone parents, 16% consider themselves to have a disability and 52 % are from an ethnic minority.

With the support of the Greater London Authority (GLA), Smart Works is about to begin an innovative employment project to connect underrepresented women across London with high-quality job opportunities. Over the next 12 months, this project will place women directly into good work within priority sectors, whilst also helping employers build more inclusive recruitment pipelines and practices. 

The Employer Engagement Manager will be central to the success of this project. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, they will lead on employer engagement and job brokerage for Smart Works. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic chance to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, working within the Delivery Team team as our new Network Development Manager.

As the Network Development Manager, you will be required to oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of active travel infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards. The role combines technical expertise, project leadership, community engagement, and strategic planning to enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, sustainable outcomes.

Some duties will include:

• Lead on the management of active travel infrastructure design and construction projects from concept through to construction /implementation and evaluation.
• Plan, organise and attend community engagement activities to ensure collaborative approach to projects.
• Day to day management of inter-disciplinary project teams.
• Share knowledge, expertise and evidence through written reports and presentations to update and influence key external stakeholders (e,g. land owners and local authorities) and volunteers.
• Contribute to planning the future network and developing a vision and clarity of what the NCN is seeking to achieve in their area.
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting to demonstrate project progress and impact.

This role involves regular travel, with work taking place at different locations to support and deliver projects for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

ABOUT YOU

We ask that you have experience in the following areas:

• A practical working knowledge of principles and standard practices within active travel infrastructure including an awareness of spatial planning and transport planning.
• Using recognised technical expertise to produce project outputs (for technical roles).
• Knowledge of local and regional transport planning authorities and their processes and priorities.
• Knowledge of active travel network design and best practise.

As the Supporter Engagement & Legacy Manager you will play a key role as we seek to reignite our legacy marketing programme and grow overall individual giving income to help ensure long-term support for those facing financial difficulty. You will be responsible for the project management and implementation of all supporter engagement activity, acquisition, and legacy marketing activities, ensuring all activity is optimised and campaigns include enhanced digital and social media content.  

Reporting to the Co-Heads of Supporter Engagement and managing the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will develop a multi-year plan to rebuild legacy income and a pipeline of legacy supporters, including re-engaging the EFH care home staff and major donors.

You will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction, operational plans and effective management of Turn2us’s giving programmes from individuals including appeals, regular giving and legacies, maximising net income from new and existing income streams.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment as well as proven ability to manage successful legacy marketing campaigns. They will have significant experience stewarding individuals and legacy supporters and be adept at communicating the impact of donations, as well as having line management experience. The ability to make a strong case for supporting Turn2us’ key areas of work is crucial, as is an aptitude for proactively increasing acquisition and retention rates.

The post holder will also be a self-starter who is comfortable building new strategies from a relatively small pool of supporters and is experienced testing different tactics to establish the best practice for Turn2us.

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people through supporting the Army Cadet Force and its activities in the community. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
