Within the Salvation Army the role of Digital Learning Systems Partner is known as our LMS and LXP Technical Partner. Using the Totara Learning Management System, you’ll help embed these tools across the organisation, train users, and ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently and support executive leadership in continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be central to ensuring the LMS and LXP deliver a first-class learning experience. Day-to-day, you’ll:

• Manage and develop the Totara platform, particularly the Develop and Collaborate areas
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, resolving user and system issues quickly and effectively
• Work with leaders, HR, and IT to design solutions that support leader development and succession planning
• Create and maintain clear user guides, workflows, and training materials
• Deliver training sessions (both online and face-to-face) to help users get the most from the system
• Analyse system use and user feedback to drive ongoing improvements
• Collaborate flexibly with colleagues in the eLearning and Personnel teams on shared projects and innovation

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring a mix of technical expertise, curiosity, and people skills. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience managing and maintaining a Learning Management System (Totara or Moodle ideal)
• Holds a Level 5 qualification in Learning Management Systems or equivalent certification
• Is confident diagnosing system issues and implementing improvements
• Has experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation
• Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Enjoys working collaboratively and creatively in a team
• Is self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities

What will I be doing?

• Lead in all aspects of the software development life cycle e.g., requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
• Apply Lean and Agile principles to develop high quality code that has minimal bugs, adheres to CRUK standards and is highly supportable

• Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to track and improve the availability, performance, and security of CRM products. Support the resolution of incidents impacting our products.

What are you looking for?

Essential:

• Ability to write clean, readable, and properly tested code based on tried and tested design patterns.
• Experience building applications on our existing CRM platform (Siebel) and/or future CRM (Salesforce), including data model design, custom UIs, custom logic, inbound and outbound integration logic
• Experience running critical services in production and designing highly available, scalable, and secure solutions
• Acted as a Senior or Lead within an Engineering team, starting the development of new features from scratch, defining the overall solutions, and reviewing more junior engineers' work.'

Desirable:

• Understands business problems and able to translate them into solution designs using creativity and pragmatism.
• Knowledge of modern software development methods (SCRUM, Kanban) and approaches (test-driven development, behaviour driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery)

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) and ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales and provide regular activity reports to the Wellbeing Manager.  You will act as the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal, to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (such as prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain processes for recording and monitoring resource allocation such as staff and volunteer expenses, spot purchase expenditure, training and provide regular reports to the Wellbeing Manager, plus provide administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking.  Proactively adopting a learning approach to the role, improving skills and knowledge to continue providing a high-quality service for service users is also a key element of this role.

• An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs
• The ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.
• Experience of creating and communicating performance and budgetary reports in a variety of formats

We are recruiting for a part time Campaign Appeal support assistant for a high profile social welfare charity covering the Essex area . Summary

The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Our presence extends to work with community schools and academy trusts, as well as higher and further July 2025 education through numerous chaplaincies, providing spiritual support and guidance to children and young people, and to adults.

The Church of England's Vision and Strategy for the 2020s has three priorities, one of which is to be a church which is younger and more diverse. As part of this, the House of Bishops want to ensure that a flourishing children, youth and families ministry is within reach of every young person in England.

The NSE is working with the Vision and Strategy team to help deliver this vision through a range of projects in our 'growing faith' pillar which focus on the intersection between church, home and school; aiming to develop the faith life of children and young people, whilst also growing young leaders.

Key role requirements

• This is a fully remote role.

• A salary of £59,248 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

• 25 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days within 5 years) plus eight bank holidays and three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to provide research support to help drive forward our strategic policy advocacy at a critical time for the climate movement in the UK and globally. Uplift is an impact-oriented research and campaigning organisation that supports a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas in the UK, with a goal of making the UK a global first-mover on phasing out oil and gas production in line with climate limits and a just settlement for the workforce.

The role
In this role you will support our team to ensure that Uplift’s and its partners’ work uses research, insight, and intelligence to maximise our impact. From ensuring our campaigns are informed by the latest data and analysis to conducting research to inform decision-makers, partners, and the broader movement, this is a diverse role at the heart of our work supporting a just transition away from oil and gas extraction. The successful candidate will have exceptional quantitative research skills and a keen interest in climate and energy-related campaigns. Responsibilities include:

The Role

The objectives of the Communications and Campaigns team are to increase the public profiles of Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, mobilise public support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charities. 

A natural storyteller, you will have a talent for creating shortform video content that engages key audiences across our social media platforms. By generating ideas and making them happen, sourcing contributors, shooting and editing footage, you will monitor the performance of posts and proactively incorporate best practice to ensure that content is well received by audiences, and that the charities’ presence on its social media channels grows.

You will regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, the other founding charities and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.

Main duties include:

• Creating shortform video content
• Project manage the production of video content for social media campaigns
• Ensure that the charity showcases its advice, information, programmes and services through shortform content.
• Champion and promote the brands, including their tone of voice, in our creative content.

About You

A content creator and social media expert you will have experience of planning, shooting and editing footage to engage audiences across different social media platforms and of using creative design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro - essential). With an eye for detail, you will use your project management skills to analyse the performance of social media content, refining and improving content through iteration.

You will also have experience of:

• Writing and editing copy to suit different audiences and providing updates and briefings at meetings.
• Being a brand guardian and supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.
• Planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across multiple social media channels, while optimising content by channel and audience.

The Independent Monitoring Service is seeking to recruit professionals with experience of working with children and vulnerable adults to the role of Independent Visitor.

The role of Independent Visitors is to provide visiting services on behalf of NYAS which are consistent with the National Quality Standards for Children’s Homes, Residential Special School Standards, Welsh National Minimum Standards, Health and Social Care Standards Scotland and CQC regulations. The main duties are:

• To undertake monthly visits to identified homes in accordance with the requirements of the relevant NYAS manager.

These visits will be:

Regulation 44 visits to residential children’s homes, short breaks and secure units.

Regulation 25 visits to residential family centres.

Care Quality Commission visits to residential adult homes.

Care Inspectorate Wales regulation 8 visits to residential children’s homes.

RSS20 visits to residential special schools.

Health and social care standards Scotland residential children’s homes.

Monitoring visits to unregulated provision.

• To undertake all tasks as identified by the relevant NYAS manager, during the visits and thereafter, in order to fulfil all aspects of the role.
• To provide factual reports within set timescales as required by the relevant NYAS manager.

Candidates should have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of regulated services and their inspection frameworks and also knowledge of current legislation and statutory guidance relating to children, young people and adults at risk particularly those in residential care.

Candidates must have experience of working within a social or health care organisation, safeguarding and experience of managing complex relationships across a diverse field, e.g. OFSTED inspectors, social workers, residential care workers and registered managers, health care professionals.

Candidates should also possess a professional qualification in a related field, i.e. social work, residential care, health care professional, advocacy or youth work.

This is a self-employed position and you will be paid a sessional rate.

You will also be required to complete annual safeguarding and compliance including, Personal Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity. You will be able to subscribe to an e-learning platform provided by NYAS. The platform will provide you with the opportunity to undertake a number of other professional courses that you can complete in your own time to maintain your own CPD. You can do this on the e-learning platform at a significantly reduced cost compared to undertaking each course individually with different providers.
