This Grants Officer role is available on a permanent contract and full-time basis (35 hours a week). This is a hybrid role, where the foundation would like the postholder to attend the Isle of Dogs office two days a week in East London, with Wednesday being a core office day. The salary banding for this role is £28,000-£32,000 (dependent on level of experience).

In this role, you will report to the Head of Grants and Programmes and support the development, management, and promotion of the foundation's grants programmes. You will manage a portfolio of grants, provide guidance to applicants and grantees, assess grant applications, and conduct due diligence to inform funding recommendations.

You will monitor funded projects, ensure timely reporting and validate project delivery. You will maintain accurate records on Salesforce. You will support donor engagement, ensure reporting aligns with CSR goals, review end-of-grant reports, and contribute to annual programme reporting. You will help deliver funding workshops and community events. You will assist with developing systems, policies, and communication tools for grant making. You will stay up to date on best practices in grant making and contribute to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of the grant making process. You could be a trust and foundations fundraiser wanting to make the transition to grants officer, or a grants administrator or officer seeking to progress further in your career. While training and support will be provided you must understand what makes a good funding application, and an ability to critically review proposals, in order to make appropriate recommendations.   
 
You will have experience or understanding of working within the voluntary sector and needs of communities in the East-End of London. You will have a strong eye for detail and experience gathering, recording information, and presenting to audiences. 

You will be a strong communicator, who can develop relationships with people from different backgrounds and lived experiences. You will be able to work on your own initiative and within a small team. You will have excellent IT literacy and administrative skills.
 
Desirably, you will have experience using Salesforce CRM, managing budgets, knowledge of participatory grant making, and public speaking.

Prospectus is pleased to be supporting the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity to recruit a Trusts Officer (12-month fixed term contract).

This organisation supports people living with HIV and amplify their voices and help the people using their services to achieve good sexual health. They have ambitious plans to end HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030. 

As the Trusts Officer, you will be responsible for helping to deliver trusts and foundations income generation for the organisation. This will consist of managing existing relationships and building new relationships wiht trusts and foundations capable of giving £20k+ grants. Joining a collaborative small trusts fundraising team, this role will have lots of variety in the relationships it builds and gain great mentorship from its manager and team.

To be successful as the Trusts Officer you will have proven experience in developing relationships through compelling writing and ideally have some knowledge of trust and foundations fundraising. Ideally you will have done this within a fundraising or charity setting, but this is not essential. You will have excellent stewardship and reporting capabilities and be confident working both autonomously and in a team. 

This role is a full-time position that will be a 12-month FTC and have hybrid working in the London offices one day per week. The salary for this role is £31,281.

The Role

The Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support to the Head of Events and the Events Coordinator in the planning and delivery of physical and virtual meetings, events and courses.

The Person

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You should come to us with experience working in an events environment, or the completion of an Events Management course.

This promises to be an exciting and busy role so you will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to multitask effectively demonstrating a high level of customer service skills.

Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic staff team at our male Approved Premises in Battersea, playing a key role in pro-social modelling, rehabilitation and community reintegration for those ready to make positive choices.

Working closely with Probation Officers and other community services such as police, health, housing and substance misuse, we provide a stepping stone from prison into the community.

As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.

Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and well-being of the premises and residents, utilizing tools such as CCTV, observation, and direct personal contact. Accurate, timely record-keeping and appropriate information sharing with respect for confidentiality are critical components of this role.

Using your initiative, you will identify and address additional tasks or emerging issues, working within the service to maintain an enabling environment. Adherence to the Approved Premises Manual, Hestia policies, and relevant justice service requirements is expected, alongside consistently demonstrating The Hestia Approach.

This role involves working closely with high-risk offenders transitioning from prison to community life, providing a unique level of daily support, supervision, and tailored interventions. You will empower residents to take responsibility for themselves while maintaining appropriate boundaries and supervision. The position operates on a rolling rota covering early, late, weekend, and night shifts to ensure continuous support and public protection.

Project Accountant

An international not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Project Accountant to join its expanding finance team in London on an initial 1-year FTC. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full accountability for project financial transactions and grant funding records.

About You

• Proven experience with grant compliance, funder reporting, and audits
• Experience with EC grant compliance and financial reporting is essential
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage complex financial information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate financial detail for non-finance colleagues.

The Role

The Executive Director will lead the Lincolnshire Social Outcomes Partnership CIC (LSOP CIC), driving its mission to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities across Lincolnshire. This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for managing partnerships, governance, and delivery of the organisation’s innovative Community Transformation Fund and Anchor Programme.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support the Finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial processing and reporting. Where allocated, this role focuses on income and expenditure transactions, financial controls, reconciliations, and customer and supplier support, while providing cross-functional support across the Finance department to ensure continuity and compliance.

Some, or all of, the tasks below will be allocated to this role, assisted by the Senior Finance Assistants and supervised by the Financial Controller.

Daily monitoring of income and payments inboxes and related correspondences, support the end-to-end process, record and amend income and payments information in financial and other databases, and provide support on related banking queries.

Work alongside income teams in invoicing, receipting payments, issuing statements, allocating income, approving refunds and onwards union fee disbursements. Support query resolution, and monitor unallocated cash and union fees.

Process and record supplier BACS and other payments efficiently and accurately, and in accordance with accounting procedures. Record payment transactions in the finance database, including cash allocation and currency conversions. Support internal teams and meetings in relation to delegate prepaid cards, including processing transactions, issuing new cards and stopping or cancelling cards as required. Support the prepaid card platform, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and centrally located to assist colleagues.

Assist in processing expense claims in line with policy. Process transactions for employee cash claims and corporate credit card purchases, issue new cards and stop or cancel cards as required.

Support month and year-end close processes, reporting, reconciliations and audit.

Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls, and support the design and implementation of new systems, policies, and processes within the Finance team responsibilities

ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for a highly numerate and organised individual with a strong ethical approach. The ideal candidate will have:

Essential criteria:

• Experience: Processing invoices, payments, other transactions and financial information.
• IT proficiency: Advanced Excel and intermediate Word skills. Must have practical experience with complex finance databases (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP), reporting tools, and expense claim systems.
• Personal attributes: High levels attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency, and the organisational skills to meet tight deadlines. Willingness and ability to learn new responsibilities and adapt to evolving processes. Must be fluent in English.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt working hours during periods of high demand to ensure deadlines are met.

• Experience in a membership-based or international organisation.
