We are seeking to hire 6 driven and proactive Citadel co-ordinators across Bristol, Cornwall, Sheffield and Hastings – to recruit, train, support and supervise committed volunteers who will directly support people experiencing homelessness locally.

About Citadel

Citadel is a volunteer-led project preventing homelessness by helping people find or sustain their tenancies and establish a home. Volunteers, once recruited, trained and DBS checked are matched with those referred for support. Co-ordinators and volunteers work closely with those referred to establish what matters to them and how best they can support them.

About the role:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to support our Marketing Lead in the delivery of all elements of marketing communications to meet the needs and objectives of internal clients in the Hospice. You’ll have experience in creating and updating engaging and effective website content using WordPress (or similar), managing website projects, and reporting on website performance using Google Analytics.

You will take responsibility for the delivery of engaging integrated marketing campaigns across the Hospice’s divisions, and generate awareness and income through innovative, focused and cost effective online and offline marketing campaigns. You will use your experience of marketing campaign management to be responsive to the ever-changing marketing landscape and implementation of new marketing techniques (both digital and traditional) across all channels.

Overall, you will have excellent planning, organisational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and appreciation of copy and production quality issues.

About the Role

The service aims to prevent young people experiencing homelessness where they are at risk of a breakdown in family or other significant relationships.  Through offering a structured support package including family mediation, you will help young people to return, or stay in, the family home, and where not appropriate we will enable young people to rebuild support networks vital to successful independent living.

You will work collaboratively with all colleagues and services across the region, as well as with external agencies, to build and maintain a caseload of clients experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness. You will work with clients facing a variety of situations, including young people who are experiencing a breakdown in their family relationships and are experiencing homelessness for the first time.

Key responsibilities include:

· Work directly with young people aged 11-25, and their families, who are experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness, providing guidance, personalised family support and one-to-one and joint party mediation if appropriate.

· Carry a caseload of 15 – 20 clients per FTE for whom you will be the named keyworker.

· Process referrals from relevant agencies to build and maintain a full caseload of clients.

· Work in partnership with young people and their families to complete risk assessments, needs assessments and change plans and outcome questionnaires to work with them towards measurable outcomes.

· Build strong working relationships with all colleagues and services across the region, as well as other relevant agencies and local authority teams, to promote the service, build effective referral routes and processes and provide holistic support to young people.

· Maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date records of all aspects of your work, in line with monitoring and evaluation processes and standard operational procedures.

· Work closely with statutory bodies and other agencies to support any relevant safeguarding procedures, advocating on behalf of young people and parents/carers when necessary.

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Significant experience working with young people and families in crisis; reflective, creative and solution-focused in your approach and committed to working in an assets-based way.
• To hold or complete a Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate (IMPC). Training will be provided if the candidate doesn’t have the qualification, but training will have to be completed before the end of the probation period.
• Experience working independently and managing own caseload; self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and carry out efficient organisation and administration.

Role description

The Parliamentary Advocacy Coordinator (Education) will work with both organisations, providing crucial support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams. Having a can-do attitude that includes the more administrative aspects of the role is essential. Key responsibilities

Supporting the work of the Results UK education and IPNEd teams​

• Providing administrative support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams and ensuring the smooth-running of internal processes that support the teams’ work, for example: contributing to the maintenance of the contact management systems and databases; supporting monitoring, learning and evaluation processes; tracking and communicating impact; engaging with external providers (e.g. report designers); managing procurement of translation services for events and meetings.

We work within a coordinated partnership response to violence against women and girls as part of the Angelou Partnership. Within the partnership ADVANCE provides independent domestic abuse advocacy and support for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

 The IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process specialising in working with clients at high risk. They will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 13, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies and related matters, support women to attend court where necessary, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support. Part of the role will to be to establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with services providing services to clients and partner agencies within the Angelou Partnership. As a Core IDVA will work across the boroughs mentioned above, under the guidance of the team leaders and project manager.

To be successful as the Core IDVA you will need the below experience and skills: 

To be successful as a Core IDVA, you’ll need to have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved in mental health services, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

About the Role

The Reconnect Worker works closely with the Deputy Prevention Services Manager and the housing team at Gravesham Council, you will be responsible for setting up and running our new Reconnect service.  Through offering a structured support package including family mediation, you will help young people to return, or stay in, the family home, and where not appropriate we will enable young people to rebuild support networks vital to successful independent living.

You will work collaboratively with all Depaul colleagues and services across the region, as well as with external agencies, to build and maintain a caseload of clients experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness. You will work with clients facing a variety of situations, including young people who are experiencing a breakdown in their family relationships and are experiencing homelessness for the first time, as well as those who have left their homes and are temporarily staying with our volunteer Nightstop hosts.

Key responsibilities include:

· Work directly with young people aged 11-25, and their families, who are experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness, providing guidance, personalised family support and one-to-one and joint party mediation if appropriate.

· Carry a caseload of 15 – 20 clients per FTE for whom you will be the named keyworker.

· Process referrals from relevant agencies to build and maintain a full caseload of clients.

· Work in partnership with young people and their families to complete risk assessments, needs assessments and change plans and outcome questionnaires to work with them towards measurable outcomes.

· Build strong working relationships with all Depaul colleagues and services across the region, as well as other relevant agencies and local authority teams, to promote the service, build effective referral routes and processes and provide holistic support to young people.

· Maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date records of all aspects of your work, in line with monitoring and evaluation processes and standard operational procedures.

· Work closely with statutory bodies and other agencies to support any relevant safeguarding procedures, advocating on behalf of young people and parents/carers when necessary.

About You

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Significant experience working with young people and families in crisis; reflective, creative and solution-focused in your approach and committed to working in an assets-based way.
• To hold or complete a Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate (IMPC). Training will be provided if the candidate doesn’t have the qualification, but training will have to be completed before the end of the probation period.
• Experience working independently and managing own caseload; self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and carry out efficient organisation and administration.
• Experience carrying out risk and needs assessments and support planning for clients.
