Job Title: Project Coordinator (NOD)

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,000 members in the UK and overseas. Our role is to champion the specialty, set standards of training and practice, and influence change to make a difference to the lives of patients with eye conditions.

Job Purpose

The National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) is a core Department workstream using clinical audit data to identify improvements and provide advice, to inform patient care, safety, and service delivery. This is a new role working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and support the programe manager to deliver activities of the NOD. The post requires strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project support and day-to-day management of the NOD website, including implementation of new developments with the supplier and analysis of usage to suggest areas for improvement.

Main Areas of Work and Responsibility

• Assist the NOD Manager in project planning to identify and track deviations from the project plan and budget, identifying and logging any risks and issues, and improving project procedures
• Support the NOD Manager with administration, project outputs, applying and explaining the information governance, outlier, and other project policies to stakeholders
• Management of the NOD website including liaising with the website supplier, working with the NOD Manager to develop a content schedule, editing content, assisting users with queries, authorising user access
• Review and analyse website performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Lead and manage the delivery of specific workstreams as agree with the NOD Manager
• Administer virtual and in person meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, following up actions
• Liaison with the project teams and RCOphth functions e.g. policy and communications team  
• Process and respond to incoming correspondence, providing information and guidance to stakeholders and project participants
• To maintain and update audit contact databases (Microsoft Excel and CRM) assisting with its ongoing development and testing.

Person Specification

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• At least two/three years’ experience in a similar project support role
• Experience of website administration/management including use of Google analytics, Content Management Systems and liaising with developers
• Experience of working with customer relationship management databases to support effective project administration
• Experience of coordinating activities for complex/substantial work programmes, with numerous ‘external’ customers, to challenging deadlines

The London Domestic Abuse Advise Service provides support to address the risk of customers who are already involved with Look Ahead services. Customers are referred from all four specialisms of the organisation; Young People; Homelessness; Mental Health; and Learning Disabilities.

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors of domestic abuse using DASH RIC and Individual Safety and Support Plans and represent the needs and values of each victim/survivor to external services. We take a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.

The post holder will be required to work alongside Look Ahead key workers and staff to support customers with complex needs are being supported by Look Ahead.

The post is restricted to females only due to the nature of the role. The occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

We’re looking for someone with experience of team administration, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate when required at all levels internally and externally to fulfil a critical role that underpins the work of the East of England team. 

About the role: 

You’ll provide high quality admin support to the East of England team, coordinate, plan and prep key meetings, and provide first point contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including working co-productively with people living with Parkinson’s.

As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers.  We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.

Through community development we work in close collaboration with our respective Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s.

What you’ll do:

• Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and other events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, liaising with participants and speakers, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings as required.
• Keep up to date with the directorate’s activities in order to provide clear, accurate information, and support the process of business performance and impact reporting. 
• Respond to general enquiries in a timely and friendly  fashion, ensuring needs are met, and participate in working groups, meetings, local events or activities as required.
• Maintain digital records on the charity’s data platforms.

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

Working closely with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager, you will manage campaign activity, from briefing through to execution, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement within the programme, particularly with regards to retention and delivery of the supporter journey.

You will be responsible for multi-channel donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and cross-sell campaigns across digital channels, print, telephone and provide occasional support to our successful Face to Face programme. You will take ownership of the delivery of our supporter journey for our regular donors, cash, lottery and raffle players – with huge scope to make a big impact in this area.

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Although the post is based at Mansell Street, LAA offers a hybrid working arrangement.
