LSO Discovery is seeking a proactive, creative, thoughtful and highly organised individual to manage and support projects within the Community programme. With creative communities sitting at the heart of the Arts Council England’s strategy, the role will be key to supporting the LSO’s strategic work in the community. Working across a range of projects, the role will allow for the individual to both support the Community Senior Projects Manager as well as take a lead on managing a few of their own projects. The programme areas covered in this role include:
- Inclusion: through LSO Create, delivering creative sessions for neurodiverse, disabled and non-disabled adults, as well as access to LSO open rehearsals and planning/delivery of the Relaxed Lunchtime concert series at LSO St Luke’s.
- Health and Wellbeing:
- Hospitals programme delivered in partnership with NHS trusts, including projects with children, parents, older adults and NHS staff.
- Older Adults: LSO Connect brings communities together through creative music-making, offering opportunities for sharing stories and musical exploration in a positive, creative and kind environment, with the intention of reducing loneliness and social isolation.
- Families: workshop programmes and concerts for Families with Under 5s, both at LSO St Luke’s and with children’s centres and Islington-based early years service provider Bright Start.

- A minimum of two to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an arts organisation

We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma- informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
We are looking for a new Advocacy & Support Manager to manage a team of specialist advocates and caseworkers providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT+ survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and other advocacy managers to ensure that survivors have access to needs-led, timely support that is right for them, maintaining high quality, consistent support across our advocacy and one-to-one support, whether that is in-person or remote.
You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.
You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services. You will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care, and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team.

Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. These may include housing, living skills, accessing benefits or the community, or other interventions and will be on a person-centred basis. The main aim of the service is to provide short-term support to customers to link with longer-term services to reduce escalations in need, and reduce inpatient readmission and reduce pressure on inpatient beds.

* Assessing referrals received by the service, within the 4-hour target, and providing rapid response to these.
* Inducting new customers, and helping orient them to the community and local area

The Network Development Manager (Clubs & Compliance) shall lead on the support and management of this dynamic and evolving membership base through the enhancement of the Special Olympics GB delivery model to achieve our purpose of unlocking more opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. This person will report directly to the Head of Network and work closely alongside other members of the team and key stakeholders, with a specific focus on our Accredited Club and Programme compliance and development and overarching responsibility of maintaining our membership delivery model mechanics and key processes. As a member of the Organisational Growth team, this role will play a vital part in supporting the future shaping of capability and capacity building, driving the strategic plan in accordance with our mission.
