This role will oversee two of our flagship programmes: the WellChild Nurses and Better at Home programme.

Purpose of the role:

Working alongside the Director of Programmes and wider programmes team, the successful candidate will ensure that the collective knowledge and skills of both our national nurse network and our flagship Better at Home suites are embedded into the Charity’s strategy and activities. The post holder will also be instrumental in growing these networks as well as supporting the growth of the projects.

WellChild currently have over 50 nurse posts across the UK and 13 Better at Home training facilities. The successful delivery of these programmes is integral to the charity and ensures that children with complex health needs and their families can access specialist support in their area when they need it. This is a key role within the WellChild team which is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and management of agreed projects within WellChild’s charitable programmes. With the support of the team, you will be able to operate under a high level of autonomy to deliver on these organisational charitable objectives and be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals to maximise the outcomes for children with complex health needs and their families.

About the role

At Sessile Court, we provide supported accommodation for adults with enduring mental health needs. We recognise that, like everyone, our customers’ needs fluctuate and, as such, the support we provide is individually tailored in line with customer needs, preferences and aspirations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that each customer has a personalised package of support in place and that risk assessments reflect a positive approach to risk-taking. You will ensure that customers have choice and control over their support and are empowered to live as independently as possible, with the long-term aim being to gradually reduce support in a safe and planned way.

You will report to the Area Manager and will be part of a wider team of experienced Team Managers, who provide peer support to each other. A typical day will involve working in partnership with a range of stakeholders involved in customers’ support, allocating and matching support workers to customers, mentoring and coaching support workers in carrying out needs assessments and reviews, and writing support plans and risk assessments.

This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week on a 9-5 basis with a requirement to participate in on-call duties approximately once every two months.

Main Responsibilities

Account Management and Stewardship

• Confidently manage a portfolio of existing corporate supporters who, together, make a significant difference to the lives of grieving children.

• Ensure all supporter records are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date on our database, and document all corporate engagement activity.
• Execute and adapt bespoke campaigns.

Fundraising

• Work with our Events Manager to leverage and maximise corporate participation in our evolving events programme.

Role & Responsibilities

Our Fundraising team is growing and as such, we’re looking for a creative and passionate individual to join us in a brand-new role of Membership & Individual Giving Manager.

Membership is one of the key strategic priorities to achieve unrestricted income over the next five years, and in this role, you’ll be overseeing recruitment, retention and managing attrition of members, understanding our members and creating relevant offers and experiences. The role will manage income from individuals through appeals and growing income and support through our nature reserves. The time spent on each area be approximately, membership 60%, IG 30% and legacies 10%.

• Significant experience in Direct Marketing including Individual Giving and membership/regular giving programmes
• Experience of digital marketing including use of social media to grow supporter base and raise income
• Experience using data, audience insight and analysis to optimise messaging and increase campaign effectiveness
• Experience delivering supporter journeys that are well planned, joined up, and motivate potential and existing supporters with a personalised and positive experience.

This is a crucial administration, IT and customer service role at the centre of Career Ready’s work in Scotland, ensuring data, processes and systems are meticulously maintained and for our corporate stakeholders and their volunteers to experience clear and timely communication and interactions. The role is wide ranging – from ensuring accurate meeting minutes, precise written stakeholder communications and the confidence to respond and refer stakeholder queries.

The successful candidate will have the tenacity, energy and ability to deal with a variety of duties and many priorities, with a systematic approach to work, underpinned by excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills. You will also be able to demonstrate confidence and capability in the use of Salesforce or a similar CRM system with experience of data management and analysis, and you must be skilled (intermediate level) in the use of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint). Overall Duties of the Senior Supervising Social Worker will include:

• An appropriate social work qualification
• Up-to-date registration with Social Work England
• A minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in fostering/family placements or other childcare settings
• Experience in supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families to meet the complex needs of the looked-after young people
• A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality, and promoting their positive development.
• Experience in group work and/or delivery of training.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations including the Children's Act and NMS Fostering Standards.
• Experience of working with/supporting looked after children and their foster carers.
