About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Manager to join our Communications team. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing our communication strategies to support our vision and strategy, working closely with the marketing, brand and digital teams to ensure cohesive customer journey and impactful messaging across all channels online and offline. 

Additionally, this role will involve account management of communications deliverables across the organisation and strategic transport outcome areas and building strong close relationships with key stakeholders in the sector as required. 

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for a range of different B2B and B2C audiences that profile our work and promote our grant, innovation and research products and services ensuring smooth customer journeys at all touchpoints. 

• Ensure that there is a smooth customer journey for different audiences across identified touchpoints, maximising the impact of our content and CTAs for all audiences. 

• Collaborate with the marketing, brand, digital and press teams to develop our content themes, and create content for various platforms including social media, website, email campaigns, and press releases. 

• Collaborate with the brand and marketing team to deliver online and offline events. 

• Support in delivering brand and communications activities for key partnerships and stakeholders as required. 

• Manage projects in an account management type structure, ensuring timely and effective execution of communication plans and initiatives. 

• Anticipate and manage risks and external factors that could influence the communications message, ensuring proactive and strategic responses. 

• Monitor, analyse and report on communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies, KPIs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement to communications and customer journey. 

• Collaborate with innovation, research, and grant team to set creative, clear strategic communications goals that raise awareness and profile our work in the right way, with the right audiences. This will involve creative brainstorming of tools and tactics as well as gathering examples of best practice from industry. 

About you:

Must haves:

• Extensive experience in strategic communications, with a strong background in marketing, branding, and digital. 
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies for a range of audiences promoting a range of CTAs. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences. 

• Experience of creating a range of content for different platforms, from video and infographic to web pages and social media posts. 

• Experience of managing communications partnerships and or campaigns with third party organisations. 

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and evidenced experience in ability to record and report effectively on communications projects through systems such as Microsoft Planner. 

• Proficiency in using communication and marketing tools, such as social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics software. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders. 

• Proactive approach to delivery – key part of this role will be to ensure that relevant senior communications colleagues are kept informed and consulted on key projects. 

Nice to have:

• Experience of leading or supporting online and offline events. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Extra Information 

• The role is based In Harlow, Essex at Motability’s offices, easily commutable from London, 30 minutes from Liverpool Street station or 18 minutes from Tottenham Hale station. 

• Blended working arrangement with three days a week working from home. 

• The job holder may be required to travel around the UK from time to time to attend various exhibitions, events relating to work. This could involve occasionally overnight stays and working outside of normal office hours (including weekends).

That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager, with exceptional communication skills to join our ambitious and friendly team.

It’s an exciting time to be joining Maggie’s, as we continue to open new centres across the UK. Over the last year we’ve brought on new partnerships with leading companies, such as Howden and Scotmid.

The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is a key role in our fundraising team and has two key aims: 

• Driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie’s national partnership proposition to businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.  
• Delivering and growing key partnerships with support from the other members of the Corporate Partnerships and Centre Fundraising Teams. 

In order to achieve these aims, two other key elements of the job will be: 

• Supporting with the development and delivery of corporate collateral and engagement tools to steward existing partners and attract new ones – such as webinars and networking events.
• Supporting Centre Fundraisers to grow partnership income from companies of all sizes and will assist in the development of engagement initiatives to cultivate new and existing supporters – for example by leading on our Christmas Corporate Appeal. 

Although this is an office based role, a typical week will involve travel to corporate offices and other Maggie's locations.  There will be a requirement to work occasional irregular hours. 

About: All Ways Network (AWN) is a second-tier support organisation dedicated to empowering charities/not-for-profits (NFPs) that work with Muslim communities across the UK to become more fundable. Position Overview: The Funder & Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between funders and the charities we support. Key Responsibilities: 

Fundraising Support:

• Represent AWN at relevant networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote the interests of our member organisations.

Resource Development: 

• Create and disseminate practical resources, toolkits, and guides to support charities. 

• Develop materials that highlight successful case studies and best practices within the sector. 

Monitoring and Evaluation: 

• Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and support provided. 

• Collect and analyse data to track progress and make informed recommendations for improvement. 

Communication and Reporting: 

• Prepare regular reports on activities, outcomes, and impacts for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with a network of service users/charities to ensure their needs are met and feedback is integrated.

Qualifications and Experience: 

• At least 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, grant management or not-for-profit management. 

• Proven track record or strong knowledge of successful grant writing and fundraising initiatives. 

• Strong understanding of the funding landscape and the unique challenges faced by charities serving Muslim communities. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training and capacity-building programs. 

• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote work and virtual collaboration. 

• Commitment to AWN’s mission and values, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. 

• Excellent written skills. 

• Comfortable in public speaking. 

• Proactive in creating and developing this role. Can confidently work independently. 

• Ideally the person should live in or the surrounding areas of London. We currently don't have an office space but we are forming a London team.

This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced abuse or violence. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
 
You will be joining our growing national advocacy team, supporting survivors remotely across the UK. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
 
You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT people facing abuse and violence.

This role is available on a fixed term 12-month contract (maternity cover), where you would work on a full-time basis (37.5 hours a week). You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and oversee the day to day running of the office. To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a busy office environment and strong finance and administration experience. You will help co-ordinate recruitment campaigns and have experience using SafeHR and Web Recruit or similar HR packages. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills.

About the Role

Introduction to the role

Reporting to the Head of Membership and Operations, the Business Development and Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in driving sustainable growth and cultivating strategic partnerships that align with the organisation's core mission and values. This newly created position aims to strengthen our expansion efforts and help us adapt to the changing landscape of care and support for disabled people.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development and Partnership Manager who will lead initiatives to identify, develop, and manage partnerships that can drive significant growth and enhance our market presence. This role will also focus on existing revenue streams and explore new areas for development and growth. The position requires exceptional relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of partnership management. It also requires a strategic approach that blends attention to detail and results-oriented delivery.

Purpose of role

The role will:

Specific responsibilities and duties

Business Development Strategy and Implementation 

· Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to identify and secure partnership opportunities. 

· Identify and explore innovative areas for development and growth.

· Set clear goals and objectives to measure the success of business development efforts. Analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to inform partnership strategies.

Partnership Development and Relationship Management 

· Identify and engage potential partners while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing stakeholders. 

· Serve as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. 

Opportunity Identification and Market Research 

· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships that align with organisational goals, including new membership opportunities.

· Conduct market research to recognise trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sector, analysing competitor activities to inform strategies.

· Deliver on existing opportunities and identify new ones, including sponsorship activities for events, projects, programmes, work, events and conferences, and smaller strategic roundtables.

Negotiation and Contract Management 

· Lead detailed negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favourable terms for both parties, and oversee contract management to ensure compliance and performance monitoring.

Collaboration and Project Management 

· Work closely with internal colleagues to align partnership initiatives with business objectives, managing execution to ensure initiatives align with organisational priorities. 

· Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate campaigns and promotional events effectively.

Performance Tracking and Financial Management 

· Monitor and analyse partnership performance, using data to refine strategies and maximise impact. Prepare regular updates on business development activities and partnership outcomes. 

· Prepare budgets and financial forecasts related to business development activities, monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of initiatives and partnerships.

Networking and Representation 

· Represent the organisation at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote business development initiatives and cultivate a strong professional network for future partnerships.

Titchwell Marsh is a wetland site abundant in a variety of wildlife including passage and migrant birds. Sitting on the East Atlantic Flyway, Titchwell is an important service station for species moving between Arctic breeding grounds and overwintering grounds in Southern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, it is known for other biodiversity including invertebrates and small mammals. Titchwell Marsh is a busy visitor destination, popular all year round with bird watchers, nature lovers and people wanting a quiet ‘get away’ from city life.

Our other reserve at Snettisham is a globally important estuarine habitat and is well known for its two nature spectacles, the dawn flights of Pink-footed Geese in winter and the whirling wader spectacles in late summer and Autumn. This wild landscape is unstaffed with minimal development to retain its natural appeal. In addition to being a hot spot for tens of thousands of waders, it is also an important site for ground nesting birds and is part of a conservation project to protect nesting Ringed Plovers.

We're looking for a team player with excellent people skills combined with a passion for connecting people with nature. Working at Titchwell Marsh reserve, you'll be providing a unique and fascinating visitor experience inspiring our visitors to support nature conservation now and in the future. This role is fundamental in ensuring we have the highest quality of visitor experience for both new and existing audiences.

You will be working with the Visitor Experience Manager and volunteers to ensure a coherent visitor offer is delivered whilst also working with the HQ team to ensure the highest quality of RSPB visitor experience.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Computer literate to include professional use of social media to adhere to brand requirements.
• Working knowledge of visitor engagement techniques.

Location: Central Office based in Islington, N1 1TY (approx. 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station). About the role

Reporting to the Director of Housing, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance and Estates to lead on the effective delivery of an efficient and customer focused maintenance and estate service across our properties within SIG. Managing a small team, you will focus on management and leadership activities to empower staff to achieve high quality results in the service. You will take oversight of the Maintenance and Estates function, to ensure the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations, working with various teams internally and externally to build sustainable working relationships.

You will have overall responsibility for ensuring policies and processes are up to date and that the way the function is run has continuous improvement. You will lead with creating and implementing a strategic plan, supporting with short to medium to long term objectives. You will work to ensure properties and estates are kept safe, to required standards and lead the team towards achieving the SIG ‘Good Homes’ standard.

About you

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing similar repairs and estates services and who is able to lead a team to be empowered to provide a high-quality service. You will be able to to develop and implement maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures, and have confidence to take ownership of your department, making key decisions.

• Management and leadership experience, including with direct line of reports and indirect
• Experience in developing and implementing formal maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures with a key eye to detail
• Experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, ideally in a repairs and maintenance or cleaning context
• Experience in completing and managing risk assessments
• A recognised building services qualification and/or any of the following: NEBOSH, IOSH, Certificate in Occupational Heath and Safety, Legionella Awareness, Asbestos Duty Manager Training, Fire Safety Qualification
• Proactive approach to work, ability to use own initiative to resolve challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to balance competing priorities
