Our client’s inclusive Learning Hub provides a stimulating and varied timetable where students thrive in a small group setting. As Learning Hub Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate all services within the Learning Hub, ensuring they are of high quality, innovative and safe, meeting the learning needs and outcomes of the students and users who access them. You will plan the delivery of services and learning topics and will assess student places, ensuring that student’s needs are met by delivering unique learning experiences with evidenced achievement of outcomes. You will provide support to a dedicated team of frontline workers, as well as volunteers, and will work in partnership with a range of agencies and local organisations to promote the service.

You will have experience of managing services, staff and volunteers, and will have a working knowledge of EHCP process and post 16-25 transition pathways.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Marketing and Events Manager (M&EM) with creating, organising and managing CWC (The Care Workers’ Charity)  events as needed (from conception to realisation including all promotional materials and online promotion).
• Source, design (where required) and manage collateral needed for conferences and events and work closely with colleagues to produce leaflets and flyers
• Assist in implementing CWC’s marketing strategy, including social media, SEO, and email campaigns.

•  Provide video content for our fundraising platforms and social media, including case studies from care workers who have been supported with grants by CWC
• Attend conferences and events as required, across England and occasionally in Wales and Scotland
• Engage with CWC’s existing supporters to promote fundraising and understand how they may be best engaged with the Charity.
• Work to event budgets, closely monitoring income and expenditure, and presenting financial updates when required

THE ROLE

The full-time Communications and Research Manager reports to the Chief Communications Officer, working to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.

You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

Responsibilities

• You will write and edit journalistic-quality articles about antisemitism, from crime to politics, including investigative pieces

• Compose posts for our numerous social media channels, where we have an unrivalled following

• Draft accessible content for videos and our podcast, working with our Creative team which will use your concepts and content to create final products for our online audience

About You

They are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic data insights manager to help us make the most of our existing data across their organisation, alongside developing new innovations to improve understanding of our supporters, their contribution to nature’s recovery and the values that the public place on nature.

They are looking for a skilled data specialist to help us to draw together and take forward their data insights work across their organisation. Working directly to the Director for Climate Change and Evidence, the postholder will lead on and manage our existing large-scale data insights projects, including the Great Big Nature Survey (the largest UK-wide survey of nature values); oversee their analysis of internal data collected across the organisation; and undertake data analysis of their external impact, from brand awareness to their major public engagement programmes such as 30 Days’ Wild. In addition, the postholder will lead a new programme of work on how to better understand their impact, and support the coordination of data activities across relevant teams.

About You

You will need experience of working with people facing exclusion and disadvantage and in a multi-disciplinary context with partners, community groups and other agencies. A good understanding of housing law is essential, while experience of debt advice, support services and delivery of advice in a community setting would be useful.

The communication skills it takes to line manage others and promote effective working relationships, with external agencies, people with lived experience and internally across Shelter, are key. What's the role about?

• Directly run, manage, or supervise activities and groups designed to support residents in the discharge process and their integration into previous or new living arrangements.

General Accountabilities

Administration:

• Maintain appropriate paperwork as required by the organisation and by the Commissioners who fund the day services.
• Provide copies of individual support plans and reviews of same to referrers.

• Maintain accurate service user’s records.
• Observe any written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice issued by the organisation.
• Provide regular reports as required to the Team Leader.
• Ensure the petty cash procedures are used when money is spent locally on groups/ activities and other resources.

Liaison:

• Liaise with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies and provide information as necessary.

• Present the Community Link Worker and the Day Service in a professional and positive way to external organisations.
• Attend local meetings and conferences of relevance to the service.

Supervision and Training:

• Accept regular support and monthly supervision from line management.
• Attend training courses and events as required.
• Attend and contribute to staff team meetings.
• Assist as requested in the selection of volunteers.
• Provide personal supervision to volunteers/ or less experienced workers as assigned.
• Assist as requested in the induction of new staff according to their Induction Policy

This role will provide high quality financial information and analysis to senior managers and external stakeholders supporting decision-making. This is a highly commercial role, which is key in ensuring service quality is maximised, and financial performance targets are achieved. The Senior Finance Manager will lead a team of 4 and will suit someone happy to work fully remotely whilst developing excellent relationships across a large, multi-location organisation.

Main Duties:

• Budgeting and Cost Control - Lead divisional budget setting and forecasting process
• Coordinate monthly key variance summary in financial performance and KPIs for senior management and external funders and commissioners
• Interpret and present complex financial information to non-finance managers, supporting decision-making and improvements to budget and forecast performance
• Financial Reporting - Maintain robust financial controls across the division and coordinate the audit process with the financial reporting team. Preparation of year end accounts, liaising with auditors

Person Specification:

• CCAB Qualified
• Substantial experience of working at senior level in financial management across a complex organisation, ideally working on high-profile contracts with external funders
• Experience leading and motivating a team
• Experience leading strategic work streams supporting annual accounting cycle and longer-term financial planning requirements
• Experience of financial planning, costing, and option / investment appraisals
• Experience of budgeting, planning, reporting, and supporting budget holders

As Major Donors and Philanthropy Partnerships Manager, you'll develop and implement a new fundraising strategy for the hospice to inspire and support high value relationships from wealthy individuals and corporates. There is so much opportunity to build on a brilliant reputation of donor care and service right across Lancashire, North Manchester and South Cumbria. You'll have the support of a brilliant wider fundraising and communications team as well as a whole host of events, both fundraising and engagement to support engagement with corporate and high net worth donors.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Abingdon site, ensuring that our Wood Shop, workshop, and facilities turn a profit and run smoothly, safely, and in line with our business plan. Key Responsibilities

· Ensure a positive customer experience for everyone accessing OWR services at our Wood Shop, online and over the phone.

· Lead and oversee our Wood Shop and workshop operations, managing retail activity and supporting staff with purchasing and merchandising.

· Develop and maintain business systems to ensure high standards of service, safety, and sustainability across the site.

· Take ownership of Health & Safety policies, procedures, and compliance across the Abingdon site and satellite facilities.

· Provide visible and motivational leadership to operational teams - including customer service, warehouse, and woodwork - promoting team development and high performance.

· Coordinate with the marketing function to grow profitable retail and commercial sales.

· Support and develop workshop-based manufacturing and bespoke wood projects, ensuring delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

· Manage facilities at Suffolk Way, and off-site strorage, including building maintenance, utilities, and supplier contracts (supported by the Business Administrator).

· Actively participate in senior team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

· Work with the Wood to Work team to offer meaningful work experience for job seekers, apprentices, and school volunteers.
