About the role

Holly House is supported housing for 35 vulnerable young adults aged 16-25. You will provide housing related support to a caseload of low to medium needs individuals to assist them in gaining independent living skills. You will be signposted to work with external agencies to ensure a person centred support package is in place. Job Overview:
Support Workers will provide Housing Related Support to customers to help them develop the life skills that are required to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. Richmond Mental Health Accommodation Pathway supports people with complex and varying mental health illnesses living in the Borough of Richmond. We are currently recruiting for a Support worker to be based in the High Support Service in Teddington, part of the Richmond MHAP group of services. There are currently 12 customers living with a range of mental health conditions and complex conditions such as drug and alcohol misuse. Bracknell Young Peoples service supports 20 young people with a variety of support needs including mental health needs, substance misuse needs, offending histories and vulnerability. The service's customers are aged between 16 and 25 and receive support for up to two years. Referrals come via the Young Persons Resource Panel.
The post-holder will assess the employment, training and education (ETE) needs of tenants and support them to maximise their engagement with ETE providers in Bracknell. The post-holder will work to maximise the tenants' engagement within the Bracknell services, this will include organising training & life skill workshops, activities and leading on tenant meetings. The role will include a small element of fund raising to enable tenant activities. They will support staff in the development of their knowledge of ETE opportunities and maximum the use of the on site training facilities for use by tenants.

• Proven experience in administration within a Customer Service environment.

The WiSE Project supports children and young people experiencing, or at risk of sexual exploitation and we are seeking an experienced worker to join our innovative, award winning team in North Surrey.
This is a varied role which primarily involves delivering child centred, holistic and psychoeducational support to children and young people ranging from 10 – 25 years old within the boroughs of Spelthorne and Runnymede.
The successful applicant will be experienced in supporting children and young people who have experienced abuse or trauma which may suit someone who has previously held a support worker, youth worker or social worker role.
The WISE Project Worker role is funded by Heathrow Community Trust and they will be joining an experienced and supportive team who deliver services across Surrey and Sussex. A significant proportion of the Wise Project Worker’s time will involve supporting children and young people in the community and requires independent working. They will be able to co-locate at Staines Police Station with their exploitation team, but also with opportunities to work from home.
Core Role Responsibilities
- Provide intensive support to a caseload of children and young people who have been identified as being at significant risk of, or victims of sexual exploitation, with the possibility of some cases being victims of criminal exploitation
- Creating and delivering holistic, child-centred support plans to keep them safe from harm and increase their understanding of sexual and criminal exploitation
- Provide expertise and advocate for children and young people within multi-disciplinary safeguarding meetings. Working collaboratively with other professionals to support interventions which keep children and young people safe and disrupt the activity of perpetrators
- Offer support and guidance to other professionals, to develop their skills and knowledge when working with children at risk of exploitation
Essential Requirements
- Experience of case work with young people aged 10 to 25 years old and delivering holistic, child centred support
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people who have experienced abuse or trauma
- A Current driving licence and access to your own car
This is challenging, yet very rewarding work. Line management and case support will be provided by YMCA DownsLink Group. WiSE staff receive regular 1-to-1 clinical supervision and group Reflective Practice Supervision.

A truly exciting opportunity to help vulnerable people as a Housing & Support Officer in our client's Runnymede team.
Their Runnymede team delivers services to a diverse client group including young people, people with learning disabilities or mental health problems, and people with a history of homelessness.
You will be involved in everything from assisting clients to acquire daily living skills and play an active role in their own futures, liaising with professionals from a variety of agencies, day to day property management, making applications for welfare and housing benefits and maintaining accurate and up to date records, so you can expect plenty of variety.
Ideally you will have six months’ experience of working with at least one of the client groups supported by the team, as well as knowledge of supported housing and the benefits system.
Above all, you must be keen to learn fast and make a real difference, be highly organised, methodical and team-spirited.
