We aim to help people get people off the streets and into their own home, backed up with all the support we can offer from our talented and committed team of staff, volunteers and partners.
The Role
The new person will take responsibility for the assessment, support and resettlement needs of residents at our emergency 20-bed accommmodation on East Road. This is the first place people come to when they find themselves rough sleeping. You will joint work with partner agencies to achieve positive resettlement outcomes and address the support needs of the residents. You will contribute to the day service by facilitating meaningful activity for residents to engage with and help provide a safe working and living environment.
This role will require the person to have good IT skills. You will be responsible for key-working residents and developing individual needs/risk assessments, support plans and maintaining the resident resettlement pathway. The role will also require an element of lone working in the building, although there will always be a second worker on the premises at all times.
About You
You will come with some knowledge of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness, along with a genuine interest and drive to support them. You will be able to work a variety of daytime shifts, inclusive of weekends. You will be well organised with the ability to evidence a high standard of resident support.
Shifts vary each week on a 4-week rota and there will be opportunity for overtime.
Essential to this role is having great communication skills, and an ability to quickly build trusting relationships with people. You must have a willingness to be ‘hands on’ as required.
Training will be offered to people who have all the right skills and competencies, but perhaps are new to working with this group of people.

We are looking for Project Workers to join our new service in Grange Road; a mixed gender 29 bed high support service providing person-centred support to clients with multiple disadvantages including mental health and substance use.
In this role you will:
- Deliver, in conjunction with other members of the team and partner agencies, support to clients with multiple support needs
- You will be carrying out comprehensive client assessments; providing clients with personalised case management support to help them be connected into specialist external services, to positively move forward in their recovery journey.
- Working with the team, as well as liaising closely with partner agencies and the night staff, you will work a rota that will involve some evening, weekend work, and sleep in shifts. This role will pay unsocial hours.

About you
Ideally, you will have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs of homeless people including rough sleepers. Strong communication, influencing and reasoning skills are also key, as is a flair for solving problems. Other qualities include knowing how to network and build effective relationships with people at every level, and a keen interest to keep abreast of current issues affecting homeless people, housing legislation, welfare benefit legislations and other matters relevant to successful support and move on of clients.

- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times including ensuring that Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures are followed as laid out in Depaul’s Policy and Procedures
- Manage a caseload of clients for whom you will be the named key worker, and you will ensure that there is a whole team approach to the support of all clients in the service
- Deliver one-to one and group support opportunities within the accommodation and in the local community aimed at increasing resilience in the clients we work with.
- Proactively lead on partnerships with local agencies including statutory teams, to support the wellbeing of Depaul clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols.
On appointment, please note that your job title shall be Senior Progression Coach.

- Experiencing of supervising the work of others
- Experience of working with people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or have a history of living in care.
- Experience of using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
- Experience of operating safeguarding requirements and procedures

The service delivers housing related support in both short stay in accommodation and through floating support to people with a diverse range of needs in Lincoln City, North & South Kesteven, East & West Lindsey, Boston and South Holland.
Some of the accommodation is in a service with staff 24hrs a day and other accommodation in small, shared properties in the community.

The successful applicant will:

About the role
On Your Doorstep is a friendship and relationship service for adults with learning disabilities and/ or autism. We provide opportunities for people to develop friendships and relationships, extend their social networks and improve overall health and well-being, by arranging a number of social activities within their local community. Working with the senior community connector you will support adults with learning disabilities to access organised events and support them at the event. Where appropriate you will be required to liaise with families and support workers to assist and support their involvement and you will contribute to the general development of members social networks and provide the necessary support and encouragement.
You will also work in partnership with Luv2meetU who have an existing service in Calderdale and also organise events and opportunities supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to develop friendships and relationships.
About you
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with the ability to use Microsoft office, Hft bespoke IT programmes and a variety of digital platforms including social media.
Experience of working with vulnerable people including adults with learning disabilities and/or autism with an understanding of the needs, experiences and aspirations of people with learning disabilities would be advantageous.
