They are looking for individuals with previous experience of working with Young People and who have an understanding the challenges young people face, childhood trauma and it's effects. If you've worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker or even volunteered with Young People, we want to hear from you.
Their team play a critical role in advocating for our tenants. From liaising with agencies to help them access permanent accommodation to supporting them to access education or employment training Branching Out do it all. This includes advocating for them in meetings with services.

Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7 day rota. Our service operates 24/7, however day shifts are either 08:00 – 15:30 or 14:30 – 22:00.There will be the option to pick up nights on occasion, for which their night enhancement rates will apply.

Hounslow Young People is Supported Accommodation Service for young people and young parents aged 16-25 in Hounslow. The Service encompasses a mix of units across six sites supporting 57 vulnerable young people and 19 teen parents. The aim of the service is to empower Young People to move towards independent living, supporting their successful transition from childhood; laying the foundations for healthy, ambitious, and safe adult lives with minimal ongoing support. Support is delivered in partnership with a number of stakeholders and partners in the community such as mental health services; substance misuses agencies, housing teams, police and social services.
About the Role:
Waking Night Support Worker will work in line with person centred risk assessments; support plans and liaise with Support Workers to provide comprehensive handover and partnership working. They will be observant of changes in behaviour and presentations ensuring appropriate actions are taken to document and report changes in support needs of young people. Waking Night Support Worker will be able to carry out all necessary health and safety actions including light cleaning tasks and environment management. Furthermore they will actively seek out ways to work with the team and stakeholders to improve the experience of young people in the service. The role requires individuals to work on a rota pattern including some weekend and bank holiday working, as the service is open 365 days a year. Hours worked:21:30 - 07:30

What you'll do:
Ensure the welfare of customers providing emotional and practical support to customers who are in distress, in crisis or require medical assistance such as emergency first aid or the intervention of medical professionals.
Remain calm and professional when dealing with emergencies and incidents following the reporting procedures and completing the required paperwork.
Ability to work empathetically and compassionately with customers who present with complex needs such as mental health, substance misuse, safeguarding and physical health support needs.
Ensure the safety and welfare of customers by implementing and monitoring the visitors' procedure, preventing unauthorised access to the service.
Conduct health and safety checks and patrols around the building and exterior reporting repairs and any Health and Safety issues.
To undertake patrols and security checks of the building and exterior, monitoring CCTV, addressing any antisocial behaviour and completing the relevant reports.

Carolyn House Service provides housing and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues for up to two years. We promote social inclusion and develop life skills for independent living. We also work with several agencies and organisations in the local area to meet individual customers' needs. We support customers to build confidence in order to empower them to use community resources; we promote healthy lifestyles and wellbeing and offer customers choice and control over the activities they would like to participate in.
The service is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week. All customers referred to the Service are allocated a support worker who will provide guidance and support on a range of issues and help signpost customers to relevant services located in the Redbridge Borough.
The Post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis (Monday - Sunday) and two sleep-ins per week which attracts £30.00 extra pay.The shift patterns are 8.00 am - 4.00pm, 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm and sleep ins.

Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people .You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Summary of Role
Working under the direction of our Centre Managers at Arc in the Park and Abbey Hub, Support Workers are key to ensuring the successful delivery of our provision for children and young people. Working with children and young people on and one to one basis and in group settings, the role will support the delivery of our play and youth projects and activities to aid their development and will include providing support to young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities.
Responsibilities
·Providing for the social, personal, educational and leisure needs of children and young people (including those with additional needs) by assisting in the running, organisation and delivery of particular projects.
·Establishing positive relationships with all children and young people supporting and enabling them to increase their confidence and realise their potential, fully integrating them into all project activities.
·Coordinating resources and to develop opportunities for children and young people which reflects their particular needs and circumstances.
·Facilitating the active involvement of the children and young people in the planning anddevelopment of the project programme.
·Facilitating the positive integration of children and young people with disabilities, behavioural difficulties and/or additional needs within the project.
·Providing for the personal care needs of the children and young people as required including toileting, changing and feeding.
·Supporting and guiding volunteers, trainees and junior leaders in all of the above, as required.
·Working as a member of the AAA team to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and young people being supervised including day to day 'housekeeping' of the site and maintenance of equipment.

This could be the perfect role for you! The Family Support Worker is an exciting role within a growing and dynamic team, where you can help to make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Lambeth.
Having identified a gap in the identification of young carers and adult carers looking after someone with substance misuse issues, over the past year we have successfully piloted a project to identify and provide long-term support to these carers. The Family Support Worker will work across our Young Carers and Adult Carers Service to provide support to families affected by substance misuse, through whole-family assessments and reviews. The successful candidate will have an understanding of working within the substance misuse field and an understanding of associated health and social issues. They will preferably have experience of working with both adults, children and young people. Lambeth Step Forward Recovery Cluster is an accommodation based service, set across Lambeth including hub sites situated in Brixton and West Norwood. The service provides care and support to over 60 customers living with enduring long term mental health. We also provide a service for two short-term post hospital discharge schemes for customers, who need support following hospital admission.
The role of our Support Worker play's a crucial role in fulfilling our customers expectations, making a positive difference and where appropriate supporting customers to step down to a lower level of support. Our Support Worker's are guided and mentored by 2 team leaders alongside a Contract Manager and as part of the team you will be developing and sustaining a good quality service to all our customers. Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent or experience supporting young people or people experiencing mental health challenges.
