Role description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Arts & Engagement Coordinator to support with the delivery of our Hospital Arts Programme. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to work as part of the Arts Team.

This role will play a key part in delivering and developing Southampton Hospitals Charity’s arts programme across hospital sites. Acting as an ambassador for the Charity, you will represent the organisation, coordinate the day-to-day operation of the programme's activities, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth communication with staff, artists, and partner organisations. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential. in external arts projects, partnerships, and professional networks, while building and sustaining strong relationships with artists, cultural organisations, healthcare staff, patients, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

General:

• Maintain a regular on site presence across hospital locations to support programme delivery, coordination, and relationship building.
• Deliver one-to-one bedside art sessions for patients who are unable to attend group workshops.
• Proactively promote art programmes across hospital wards and units to increase awareness, engagement, and participation among patients, visitors, and staff.
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of all Charity led art workshops in collaboration with tutors and artists, including assisting with delivery and impact assessment.
• Assist with the day-to-day management of the art programme, ensuring schedules run smoothly and liaising in advance with Trust staff to prepare wards and patients for visits.
• Monitor, document, and report on the condition of artworks, murals, and installations across hospital sites, escalating issues where necessary.
• Support curatorial projects by coordinating the installation of new artworks, working with key stakeholders and hospital staff.
• Expand, maintain, and nurture a diverse and up-to-date network of artists to support programme delivery and future projects.
• Provide administrative support for Southampton Hospitals Charity’s art programmes, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
• Collaborate closely with internal Charity and Trust teams, including Communications, Fundraising, Impact, and Engagement teams to ensure a collaborative approach.
• Contribute to evaluation and reporting of art programme outcomes, including qualitative feedback, case studies, and basic data collection to support impact reporting and funding requirements.
• Support with the governance, compliance and risk elements linked to the delivery of workshops or installation of artworks within and method statements for workshops, installations, and artist visits, in collaboration with Trust staff.
• Support volunteer coordination where relevant, including briefing, scheduling, and supervision during art activities or events.
• Contribute content to internal reports, newsletters, or relevant updates in collaboration with the Communications team.

Person Specification:

• Knowledge and Experience:
• Experience coordinating or supporting arts programmes, projects, or participatory activities in a healthcare, community, education, or public-facing setting.
• Previous participatory arts experience within the candidate’s chosen artistic field.
• Experience contributing to arts projects, events, exhibitions, or workshops (e.g. visual arts, music, performance, dance).
• Experience working specifically within a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of art therapy approaches, creative health practices, or arts-for-wellbeing methodologies.

Skills and Abilities:

• Willingness and ability to work five days per week in a hospital environment, including regular visits to different wards and units, with occasional weekend or out-of-hours working as required.
• High level of digital literacy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva and confidence using web-based systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy environment.

Exercise and Socialise is a programme of weekly exercise sessions specially designed for different needs, abilities and interests, but all aimed at the frail and unconfident.

For the financial year 2026/27 we have funding to provide 30 classes across the 5 neighbourhoods in Lambeth, maximising coverage and giving space to local needs.

The primary focus is on improving physical health and confidence and getting people active again and increasing their resilience. But it also has secondary aims of decreasing isolation and improving people's mental health.

Specific Duties

1. To assess referrals that come in and assess their eligibility. Help them choose a suitable class based on their ability.
2. Responsible for sourcing accessible venues.
3. Setting up the groups and engaging paid instructors.
4. To provide regular monitoring and impact reports for our funders, using both qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate how the support has benefited participants.
5. To regularly monitor the KPIs and outcomes set by funders, ensuring the project remains on track to achieve targets and identifying any areas requiring additional support or improvement.
6. To deliver a diverse mix of exercise groups, including chair yoga, seated aerobics, Tai Chi, and seated jive. Offer low-impact sports like table tennis and weight training, and introduce targeted activities specifically designed to overcome the challenge of engaging older men.
7. To promote the groups at meetings and support our comms team to promote the service.
8. To create referral pathways for health professionals, Social Prescribers Link Workers, Neighbourhood Wellbeing Workers, etc.

General Duties

1. Work closely with the Head of Commercial Services and Volunteering.
2. Develop and maintain links with Public Health and the Community Rehab and Falls team.
3. To recruit tutors/instructors who have adequate qualifications and insurance.
4. To make sure relevant information/registers are collected and put on our Podio system.
5. To have relevant information about clubs, groups and MYSocial so that when the course ends, people have the confidence and fitness to join other exercise/activities.
6. Carry out a wellbeing assessment (via the Outcome Star) and monitor at the beginning and at the end of the course to monitor impact on mobility and wellbeing at the end of the course and record and report findings on Podio.
7. Manage budgets and resources.

Please note the contract length and salary:

Fixed-term contract of:
● 31.5 hours until March 31st 2027.
● Due to funding, the hours will be reduced to 14 hours (2 days a week) from April 1st 2027 to March 31st 2028.

Salary of:

£27,595 per annum for 35 hours
● Pro-rata: 31.5 hours until 31/03/2027 at £24,835, reducing to 14 hours at £11,038 from 01/06/27 to 31/03/28.

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

We have a part-time roles available (22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. It’s essential that you are confident using IT and maintaining excellent records. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

ECHO’s Outreach Coordinator will provide support to families of children and young people aged 0-25 affected by CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and patients.

This role will have around 20% of time to focus on finding out the needs of 18-25 patients, parents, and siblings, and developing support and information for them.

We are an independent charity who support families treated by the Evelina, London & Royal Brompton, and Harefield hospital networks, and the CHD network of 47 local hospitals, and are based close to the Evelina London Children’s Hosptial.

Can you… work in a hospital environment, on the phone, and online; plan visits or events such as a zoo trip or a party; support children, young people, and families through diagnosis, treatment, care, and, at times, the loss of a child; and provide needs-led emotional, social, and practical support to children with heart conditions, their siblings, parents, and carers?

Can you also research the needs of 18–25-year-olds, develop peer support and programmes for them, and deliver this on a small budget with patient and carer input throughout?

This role provides high-quality emotional, social, and practical support to children with heart conditions, their siblings, parents, and carers, from birth to 25 years. You will deliver 1-to-1 outreach in the hospital and the community, lead play and wellbeing activities, and maintain a visiting programme across children’s departments, including PICU, Cardiac, and NICU. 20% of your focus is supporting young people aged 18–25, identifying their needs, assessing numbers, and developing peer support programmes. The role also involves creating resources and accurate information for families, offering guidance for those facing bereavement or loss, promoting wellbeing across hospitals and networks, planning events, contributing to closed social media groups, maintaining records, and capturing impact through case studies and testimonials.

Girlguiding is looking for a creative project coordinator with a background in youth programme, event and activity creation, and with experience of facilitation and coordination of youth participation opportunities for young people. Position: S11373 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home base, Bedfordshire, however frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include community visits, team meetings, and other work-related meetings).

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Salary: £22,600 per annum (FTE circa £28,300 per annum)

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting newly diagnosed stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

· Supporting a diverse caseload including anyone experiencing communication or cognitive difficulties

· Providing support via a combination of face-to-face visits, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls).

· Using a person-centred and person first approach to provide specific, tailored information, advice, and support to stroke survivors and stroke carers.

· Empowering stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to live life well after stroke.

Job Purpose

The Project and Engagement Coordinator will play a central role in the implementation, coordination and day-to-day delivery of the Partners for Change project. Hosted by Stay and working across the wider partnership, the postholder will help ensure that the project delivers a high-quality, joined-up, trauma-informed and person-centred response to homelessness, rough sleeping, housing insecurity, multiple disadvantage and crisis across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

This is both an operational and strategic role. The postholder will coordinate activity across partners, support delivery against agreed outputs and outcomes, manage data and reporting requirements, and help maintain strong communication, consistency and shared practice across the project.

A key part of the role will be the direct line management and operational oversight of the Intensive Support Workers. The Project and Engagement Coordinator will provide leadership, supervision, caseload oversight, quality assurance and day-to-day guidance to the Intensive Support Worker team, ensuring that support is well coordinated, responsive, safe and effective.

The role will also lead on engagement activity linked to the project, including partnership working, community engagement, peer support approaches, co-production, service development and the promotion of client voice. The postholder will help act as the operational bridge between frontline delivery, partner coordination, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination and Delivery

• Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of the Partners for Change project across the partnership.

· Support the effective delivery of a county-wide, joined-up service for people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, housing insecurity, multiple disadvantage and crisis.

• Help ensure that project activity remains aligned with agreed aims, outputs, outcomes, funding requirements, and partnership commitments.

· Ensure support is accessible and responsive for people experiencing multiple disadvantage and for those in crisis, including individuals who may face barriers to engagement with mainstream services.

• Support the team to deliver holistic assessments, support plans, urgent interventions, advocacy, referrals, and warm handovers.
• Monitor outreach caseloads, client journeys, and support outcomes to help ensure effective and timely intervention.
• Help identify patterns of need, service gaps and barriers to engagement, and respond to these through operational planning and partnership discussion.

4. Partnership Working and Multi-Agency Coordination

• Act as a key operational link between Stay, The Shrewsbury Ark, KiP and other external stakeholders.

• Contribute to a coordinated county-wide response by supporting shared planning, communication and problem solving across agencies.

The Role

The service aims to identify and provide key worker support to meet the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway. Providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

The Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Working with people within a caring profession or other caring capacity.
• Maintaining accurate records using IT skills and database systems.
• Effective caseload management and using a flexible working approach.
• Using excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of people.

This role requires extensive travel across Cornwall to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
