The majority of Pact’s voluntary income comes from Trusts and Foundations, helping to further our work with prisoners, former prisoners and their children and families. Consequently, this is a vital role in the fundraising team. As the Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations), you will support the Senior Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) to raise vital grant income to support Pact’s charitable services and activities. This is a varied role which will involve you helping to identify potential new sources of grant funding from charitable trusts & foundations, whilst ensuring the very best stewardship of a portfolio of our existing relationships.

• With excellent communication skills, you will be able to present ideas skilfully both in writing and in person and be able to build rapport with Trustees and build strong collaborative working relationships with other funders, expert advisors, NGOs, and grantees.

• You will have strong research skills based on knowledge of the charity sector and be able to successfully plan and manager a substantial administrative workload, with careful attention and be able to effectively prioritise work across both Trusts.

• You will be confident to take initiative and work independently and thrive in working in a complex and diverse environment, but most importantly, you will whole-heartedly support the family’s realisation of its philanthropy and demonstrate commitment to the Trustees’ objectives and grant-making priorities.

About the role 

As a Coach in the Structured Coaching Team, you will be the lead worker for people who engage well with the service and are able to work with you to develop and follow a personalised plan to end their homelessness. You will work collaboratively across departments to support Crisis' mission to end homelessness by delivering services that are person-centred, sensitive and responsive to the diverse needs of Crisis Members. You will understand and promote the importance of evidencing our impact in preventing and ending homelessness. The MARAC Administrator will support the MARAC Coordinator in the administering the MARAC process.  The post holder will be co-located in Brent and will be required to attend MARAC meetings in various locations as required. There will also be a requirement to attend Advance’s Headoffice

An understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.

Experience of office management and administration roles and experience of maintaining data systems and producing regular monitoring reports

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it. 

To help achieve our mission, Crisis is looking for a Data Insight Analyst to join the Data, Digital and Technology team. We are embarking on a project to change our CRM to Microsoft Dynamics and to move our Database onto Azure. To account for this changing infrastructure, the Insight team will work on updating our suite of reports, largely based in Power BI.

About the role 

As a Data Insight Analyst, you will assist in updating and creating PowerBI dashboards and apps. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to gather requirements and develop reports that enable accessible monitoring of key metrics. As our current suite of dashboards need to be reworked, this role offers a good opportunity to shape a data visualisation project from start to finish, helping Crisis make evidence-based decisions in our pursuit to end homelessness.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, particularly when it comes to conveying complex, quantitative information to a non-technical audience. You will be able to identify requirements and deliver synthesised findings in an accessible and engaging manner. Additionally, you will have technical experience in PowerBI and SQL, from querying relational databases to building impactful visualisations. 

You may also have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, Azure SQL Database, website analytics, product analytics, customer analysis, digital analytics, Jira, data science, Tableau, Python/R or excel.

About the role:

The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. One of the main purposes of the role is to bring together agencies to ensure that local systems are truly keeping survivors safe, holding perpetrators to account, and preventing domestic abuse. A key principle of the post is respecting the independence of each agency and ensuring the MARAC’s key principles are survivor’s and children’s safety, offender accountability and giving a clear message that domestic abuse is s crime that will not be tolerated. The post holder will be located in Brent, and will meet MARAC partners in a variety of settings in the community. The post holder will also spend time raising awareness of the service, domestic abuse, and the MARAC in addition to training agencies on the MARAC and inducting new MARAC representatives on the MARAC.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. The post holder will also have a good understanding of managing a project.

About You:

 

To be successful as the MARAC Co-ordinator you will need the below experience and skills:

Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC.

Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures and legislation

A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and anti-discriminatory practice, safe practice and health and safety procedures

Experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals

A clear understanding of the coordinated community response to domestic violence and abuse, how it relates to MARAC in particular, and experience of the purpose and workings of MARAC 

Experience of supervision/coaching of staff or volunteers, of managing performance and achieving targets through review of individual and team practice

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; including report writing, data collection and monitoring

Good understanding of managing a project
