We are looking for a part time Training Standards Officer (21 hours per week) to work in the Learning Directorate at the Royal College of Pathologists. This role is key to support our members by facilitating the maintenance of specialty postgraduate curricula in seven pathology specialties and subspecialties, as well as ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the GMC.
This role will project manage the quality assurance processes for training qualifications our members complete as part of their professional development. Your role will be to review and update the curricula for all College qualifications and provide regular reports for both internal and external bodies. We are looking for a strong administrator who can plan and implement a timetable for regular reviews of curricula by committees, ensuring compliance with timelines/deadlines as required.
The Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation with charitable status concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology. It is a body of its Fellows, Diplomates, Affiliates and trainees, supported by the staff who are based at the College's London offices.
The College is a charity with over 13000 members worldwide. The majority of members are doctors and scientists working in hospitals and universities in the UK.
The College oversees the training of pathologists and scientists working in 17 different specialties, which include cellular pathology, haematology, clinical biochemistry and medical microbiology.
Although some pathologists work in laboratories, many work directly with patients in hospitals and the community. Together, they are involved in the majority of all diagnoses and play an important role in disease prevention, treatment, and monitoring. If you have ever had a blood test, cervical smear or tissue biopsy, a pathologist will have been involved in your care.

A key focus here is learning lessons from never events and engaging with PSA’s review of our performance in this area. We are also making a significant investment from our reserves to improve our digital infrastructure. This includes implementing a new MyGOC platform, with the build phase just launched. We anticipate this will deliver improvements to our digital interface with our registrants, and to our ability to provide excellent customer-service. as well as facilitate positive operational improvements. Our digital-first strategy describes our ambitions for the next five years to be a digitally enabled, cyber secure organisation, including through the appropriate use of AI, ensuring all our people are fully supported in their use of our digital environment.
We have recently moved office into temporary accommodation at One Canada Square, with a second move planned into our new office in late June 2025. Your leadership of our facilities team will be central to managing this move, identifying and managing risks and capitalising on the opportunities a new office will bring to the development of our internal culture.
In addition, your strategic leadership of our expert finance team will ensure our effective financial management, regulatory compliance and optimisation of resources, and ensuring our financial resilience, and continuously improving and managing our financial capabilities so that we are best placed to finance our functions efficiently. An important dimension of the role will be the support and advice you provide to the Chief Executive, Chair and Council, SMT, committees, panels, workers, members and employees on all matters relating to the delivery of Corporate Services in accordance with our statutory responsibilities. The Role
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO/Director will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial, and operational leadership of Chelsea Theatre. This is a hands-on role with a focus on balancing the day-to-day running of the operational activities of the venue, with essential components such as stakeholder management, community engagement and income generation.
Key Responsibilities
The postholder will:
• Provide leadership and responsibility for the charity’s purpose, administration and financial management plus ensure compliance with the law and regulations.
• Generate significant earned income from one-off and repeat hirers, including local community organisations, commercial contracts, arts organisations and private hires, with a focus on high quality customer care.
• Increase income from grants, corporates and funds from individuals, with support from Trustees.

About the Service
This service sits within our Complex Needs and Community Services and are informal drop-in group for Refugees and Asylum Seekers. The groups centre on improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of refugees and asylum seekers, providing these individuals with a safe space to connect with peers. To help these individuals engage with diverse creative activities and develop their confidence and self-esteem whilst helping them integrate into Hertfordshire and the UK.
Service Objectives
- To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
- Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
- To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
- To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- The purpose of this post is to promote and facilitate our Flourish peer support groups.
- To play an integral role in instilling HMN’s values through the Flourish refugee and asylum seeker service.
- Promoting and facilitating the Flourish groups
- To work as a team.

- Planning and preparing for each weekly session, establishing the session aims, materials required and anticipated outcomes for people attending.

The Role
This is a part-time permanent opportunity, working 30 hours per week on a rota basis across Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our new supported living service in the London Borough of Sutton. You will work closely with your team to provide support for adults with enduring mental ill health and complex needs.
In this key role, you will also act as Deputy to the Service Manager, leading on care quality, compliance, team performance, and service delivery. You will support your team through trauma-informed approaches and take a hands-on role in delivering support sessions. Additional hours as a Support Worker are available at £13.85/hour.
This role is not remote – we are looking for someone who can be present on site to lead by example and support their team in person.
About You
To be successful in the role of Team Leader, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or related subject
- Proven experience of leading a team and managing performance
- Experience delivering support services to vulnerable adults, including conducting needs and risk assessments
- A strong background in working with adults with comorbidities such as mental illness, autism, Asperger’s, and substance misuse
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce reports

The successful candidate will join our busy Governance team, reporting to the Head of Governance and working closely within a core team of two officers and two senior officers.

Scope of role
The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.
Key Responsibilities
Support Debt Advisers in their roles and ensure that the advice provided to over- indebted Clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances.
- Conducting debt-advice interview observations.
- Undertaking debt advice file reviews.

- Providing constructive feedback, and pastoral support, to advisers and their line managers.
