Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
• Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.
• Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• Participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• Ensure that all The Passage’s policies and procedures are adhered to and contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.
• At all times, undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high-quality standard of work, and to always work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of The Passage and uphold standards expected by The Fundraising Regulator.

Legal Casework Manager (Helpline)

Are you aware of the significant health inequalities that people with a learning disability face in the UK and levels of avoidable deaths? Are you passionate about access to justice for the families of people with a learning disability who have died avoidably in acute healthcare settings?

We’re looking for a dedicated Legal Casework Manager (Helpline) to join our committed information and advice team covering England at Mencap on a full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term contract for 2 years.

Here at Mencap we are a leading charity providing advice, support and opportunities to people with a learning disability across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The role will lead on supporting families to get answers about how their loved ones died and change across the healthcare system to prevent future deaths. 

The role is flexible in terms of location, which can include home working, using Mencap’s office bases, such as in London and Peterborough, and will include some national travel, for example to inquest hearings or to meet families when needed. 

About the Role

As Legal Casework Manager (Helpline), you’ll provide advice, support, and casework assistance to families facing complex legal issues, specifically relating to people with a learning disability who have died in avoidable circumstances across England, mainly within the healthcare system. Working within a small, supportive team, you’ll manage your own caseload, contribute to the body of knowledge about avoidable deaths and help empower families to understand and exercise their rights and get answers through the inquest and other investigations processes. 

Key Responsibilities

· Provide clear, accurate, and timely legal advice and casework support for families.

· Work closely with clients, many of whom will be distressed, ensuring a sensitive, trauma informed and professional approach

· Maintain up-to-date case records and comply with quality and regulatory standards

· Support strategic litigation and advocacy efforts where appropriate

· Liaise with other charities, coroners, legal professionals, and agencies to support families to get answers

· Work towards a world where people with a learning disability are no more at risk of death in hospitals, than any other person

· Manage a team of caseworkers working across different areas of advice.

About You

We’re looking for someone:

· Legally qualified in the UK or similar jurisdiction with at least 3 years post qualification, working in either clinical negligence, inquests or inquiries. Or similar number of years working as a senior case worker in an inquest/clinical negligence/inquiries advice role.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach

· Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively, and work independently

· Ability to travel effectively to support families at inquests, and to attend meetings

· A clear understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and in maintaining their emotional wellbeing in distressing situations

· Strong management skills and ability to supervise, coach and mentor colleagues. 

· Experience of accurately recording client case records and use of CRM/client database system

We currently have one full-time Advisor and deliver a specialist service for d/Deaf people in partnership with deafPLUS. The Advice Manager will lead the development of the service to better reflect and respond to Camden’s diverse disabled communities.

Fine Cell Work (FCW) is a charity and creative social enterprise committed to the rehabilitation of people in prison, and post-release. Our innovative Open the Gate (OTG) programme at our Battersea Hub offers work experience, volunteering opportunities, accredited training, mentoring, and signposting support to participants/ Apprentices at any point on their resettlement journey. We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Engagement and Support Officer (ESO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by people in contact with the criminal justice system and will work proactively to establish meaningful and sustainable cross-referral pathways with external agencies. They will nurture a professional, inclusive, and safe working environment; use their knowledge, insights, and expertise to support tangible outcomes for all Open The Gate participants; and develop the wider programme offer in line with our organisational objectives.

Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:

1. Nurturing a professional working environment where Open The Gate Apprentices are supported to achieve their potential.

2. Building and maintaining referral partnerships with external agencies [including HMP resettlement teams, probation services, approved premises and community-based organisations supporting prison-leavers] to increase participant numbers and sustain engagement with Open the Gate.

3. Coordinating applications and referrals for prospective Apprentices, gathering relevant information for dissemination to the wider team.  

4. Working with colleagues in the Programmes team to develop risk management and support plans for each Apprentice, using information regarding offences, licence conditions and risk areas, liaising closing with the probation service and other agencies where relevant.

5. Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe recording of all information and personal data.

6. Case management of Apprentices, including action-planning and goal setting in consultation with the Workshops Manager, supporting Apprentices to achieve work-ready outcomes in an agreed period.

7. Providing day to day practical, pastoral, and sign-posting support to a caseload of Apprentices and providing ad-hoc support to graduate Apprentices when required.

8. Working with the wider team at Fine Cell Work to develop and coordinate a series of employability and creative wellbeing workshops for Apprentices.

9. Supporting small grant application processes on behalf of Apprentices.

10. Responding to safeguarding concerns in line with Fine Cell Work policy and procedure.

11. Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager with the delivery of the Service User Involvement Strategy and championing service user involvement across the organisation more broadly.

12. Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to recruit and deliver training to mentors and other volunteers in roles supporting Apprentices.

Working with the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to develop and enhance the Open the Gate mentor offer including as the first point of contact for mentors pre- and post- mentoring sessions. 

Knowledge and Skills for the role of Engagement and Support Officer

Essential

• The ability to build rapport, establish trust, and work non-judgementally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
•  At least 3 years’ professional experience working with adults in contact with the criminal justice system, assessing needs and risks, and formulating support plans.
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities on a daily basis.
• Experience working alongside probation and other key workers to formulate risk management plans in line with licence conditions.
• Demonstrable experience of adult safeguarding and a proven ability to assess, manage, and effectively communicate risks and vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrable experience in seeking opportunities to increase referrals and build new referral pathways.
• A proven track record of case management, and experience ensuring all case records and caseload processes are clear and up to date.
• Experience in impact monitoring and evaluation and working to agreed targets and tangible outcomes, including supporting the writing of reports to Senior Managers.
• The ability to cope with the inherent challenges and demands of the role, maintaining well-being while effectively supporting Open The Gate Apprentices.

Overall Purpose of the Community and Events Fundraising Officer

As our Community and Events Officer, you will primarily focus on the expansion and development of our community and events programme. 

Supported by the Senior Fundraising Manager, you will develop and shape this area of fundraising, including creating new products and stewardship plans, resulting in the engagement, development and retention of supporters.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic team administrator to join our small, friendly and relaxed team at SCONUL, the professional association for academic and research libraries. The team currently works one to two days a week from our modern offices close to Euston station and the remainder of the week from home. 

You will be responsible for providing administrative support across all aspects of the organisation’s work, including diary management, the organisation of meetings and supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme. It’s a role that provides scope for autonomy and to become involved in the full range of the organisation’s work and to develop a broad set of skills.

We are looking with someone with relevant office or administration experience who is well organised and with strong communication and IT skills. The role would suit someone who is self-motivated, flexible and happy to take the initiative.

Job description

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Project Manager and SCONUL Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Organising the schedule of meetings for the SCONUL Board and SCONUL working Groups.
• Managing the diary of the Executive Director.
• Supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme including:
  • answering routine queries from Access Scheme users, applicants and university administrators
  • providing SCONUL Access contacts with timely and relevant information about the scheme
  • providing routine technical support to applicants and university contacts responsible for processing applications and refer potentially more complex or disruptive technical problems
  • drafting changes to website content to reflect the scheme’s current practice and procedures.
• Supporting the delivery of SCONUL events including:
  • drafting and following up invitations to speakers and other participants with support from the Project Manager
  • managing and processing events registrations
  • booking accommodation and travel arrangements when required
  • production of event documentation
  • helping to manage events on site, including briefing and managing colleagues, volunteers, and external suppliers, supporting, advising and directing event participants.
• Processing invoices and other office paperwork.
• Answering general queries from members and students phoned into the office.
• Uploading content onto the SCONUL website and helping keep the content up to date.

Skills and experience required

Sustrans’ Strategy, Impact and Evidence team is a leading centre of excellence in active travel research, monitoring and evaluation and we are recruiting now. As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.

Focusing on monitoring and evaluating the impact of infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, you will work on a range of projects around the UK and be involved in the planning, delivery, analysis and reporting of our monitoring and evaluation work. 

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub. There is minimal travel required in this role, however in the course of your work you may have to travel to one of the nominated hubs or project sites if required to do so. 

About you

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to significantly grow and diversify income.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the post-holder will work closely with senior leaders, trustees and senior stakeholders to solicit high value gifts, typically of six and seven figures, and to build and deepen long-term relationships between donors and the charity.
