Fundraising Manager (3 days/week or part of FT role)

Collaborating across BOST, you’ll optimise both restricted and unrestricted income and support strategic funding initiatives led by the CEO.

Communications Manager (2 days/week or part of FT role)
Champion BOST’s voice across platforms. You’ll manage content creation, brand strategy, marketing, and PR to raise our profile and improve external communications. From social media to newsletters and press outreach, you’ll ensure our message is clear, engaging, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Manager – 60% of role

Director of Fundraising & Partnerships

As our new Community Heat and Energy Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering our major new community heat and energy workstrand. You’ll work with local communities and expert research partners to move forward local renewable energy projects which help power clean heat solutions at three different sites in England, as well as developing ways to remove barriers to delivering this type of project, such as supplying energy locally and matching supply and demand.

• Contract: 16 months at 4.5 days per week (or a nine-day fortnight if preferred). We are not accepting applications for job shares for this role. While we would like to extend the contract beyond 16 months, as this is a grant-funded role, we cannot currently offer this.

• Work status: We don’t have a sponsor licence, so we're unable to provide sponsorship for a work visa, and candidates are required to hold the right to work for the duration of the contract.

• Salary: £39,200 for a 4.5 day week (pro-rata’d from £43,556 FTE). This is band C3 on our pay scale. 

• Location: Some of the role will be site-specific. We are therefore open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, although some travel to project sites will be required, and there will be an  occasional requirement to attend our Camden office, although you would be welcome to work there more often.

• Working hours: 0.9 FTE, i.e. 4.5 days per week or a 9 day fortnight. Our core working days are Tuesday and Wednesdays, when all staff are required to work.

We need someone to join us as our Operations and Governance Manager to ensure London Funders, its projects and subsidiary Collaboration Circle, run smoothly. Refugee Week is seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to lead the development and delivery of our social media presence in the lead-up to and during Refugee Week 2026. Working closely with the Refugee Week team, you will help shape and tell the story of Refugee Week over the year - inspiring people to take part, building our digital profile, and growing our online community.

Essential:

Key Responsibilities

Information, advice and guidance:

• Work one-on-one with adults and children with a visual impairment and their carers/ families, providing a comprehensive initial assessment in a person-centred, empathetic, and empowering manner.
• Provide internal and external referrals and deliver follow-up actions to enable maximum wellbeing for service users.
• Manage incoming and outgoing referrals internally and with a wide range of external providers, communicating promptly to manage cases effectively and safely.
• Work closely with team members and volunteers to collate and send Information Packs and other necessary communications such as appointment letters in accessible formats.

Equipment:

• Work with team members and volunteers to maintain accuracy of the Vision North Somerset service user database, including collecting data permissions and equality monitoring information from service users during visits.

Local networking and knowledge:

• Develop and maintain knowledge and resources on relevant services offered by organisations to people in North Somerset. Work with the Administrator to maintain records on online files and paper files (for example service leaflets).
• Occasionally attend local meetings, arrange meetings with staff from key local organisations or represent Vision North Somerset to develop mutual knowledge of local services.

You will manage your own team, oversee outreach sessions, and lead on debt casework with full responsibility for quality assurance, performance metrics, and client outcomes. As a specialist in debt supervision and casework, you will:

• Deliver expert advice to vulnerable clients
• Provide technical supervision and case checking to uphold AQS standards
• Lead training and coaching in debt-related areas
• Consult with partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery
• Monitor and communicate key policy developments in the debt advice landscape

The role 

As our Team Leader, you will support your team to achieve their potential through regular staff supervision, coaching, training, reflective practice and team meetings. 

With strong communication skills, you will liaise between the day and night teams to ensure consistency, and you’ll assist with ensuring the service is fully operational and our clients are receiving the appropriate support. 

You will support your team to achieve their potential through regular staff supervision, and you will oversee housing management support to clients such as taking in rent, reporting maintenance issues and keeping the service clean and welcoming  

In addition, you will adhere to safeguarding responsibilities, following strict policies and procedures, and those of relevant local authorities, ensuring these are always followed. You’ll also help maintain health and safety standards, ensuring clients, visitors and buildings are safe in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, policy and procedures.

Nightstop Support Worker & Volunteer Coordinator

Position: Nightstop Support Worker & Volunteer Coordinator
Salary: £27,136 including Greater Manchester Weighting Plus Pension and Other Benefits
Location: Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours

About the Role:

The Nightstop Coordinator role is busy and varied role, it involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all young people, assessing each young person’s needs and risks, finding short and long term housing options, organising the logistics of each Nightstop placement and making sure that each Nightstop placement is safe.

You will also lead on the promotion of the service with the aim of recruiting new Nightstop volunteers. The role will be based in the Manchester office and cover referrals from young people in Greater Manchester

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a welcoming and supportive service to young people at risk of homelessness

· Conduct needs and risk assessments and arrange Nightstop placements

· Support guests and volunteers through a 24-hour on-call service when required

· Recruit, onboard and engage new volunteer hosts

· Promote the service at events and meetings, building strong relationships with partners

· Maintain accurate records and support reporting processes

· Ensure safeguarding and health and safety requirements are met at all times

About You:

We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting young people and has the skills to work calmly and effectively under pressure. You will bring:

· Experience of working with vulnerable people or people experiencing homelessness

· Understanding of housing and homelessness legislation and safeguarding procedures

· Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Confidence in working collaboratively with a range of partners and stakeholders

· Flexibility to take part in an on-call rota and occasional evening or weekend work
