As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

As Finance Officer you will manage the purchase ledger, finance inbox and reconcile all transactions in bank up to TB, ensuring monthly deadlines are met and accurate information is entered into CCT’s accounting system.

The Heaney Hub Cluster is an intensive supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the Kensington & Chelsea. The majority of the customers come with a history of entrenched rough sleeping; often coupled with enduring mental health difficulties. The aim is to offer a home to those who would have difficulty finding accommodation because of their lifestyle choices involving extreme drug and alcohol misuse. The high-support hostel caters for eleven service users with complex needs and is staffed 24-hours a day with the minimum of three staff on duty. The medium support services are staffed from 9am to 9pm where the customers present with varying degrees of mental health issues. The Assessment Centre is staffed 24/7.
The hostels are in close proximity to each other, and staff will be expected to work across the units. Three of the hostels supports both male and female customers and one is males only.

Heaney Hub implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, particularly those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.

Support Workers will devise person centred support plans with customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their needs and goals. This will include sign-posting them to the local drug and alcohol services to address substance misuse issues. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

The team comprises of Therapist, Move on coordinator, Housing Officer, 16 support workers, 2 Team Leaders, One Project Manager.

The role requires one to work on a shift pattern:7.45am to 3.45pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Events & Fundraising Officer to join our small, dedicated team. Working closely with the rest of the Events & Fundraising team, you’ll help deliver and grow LLST’s fundraising events across London and the South East, including the London Legal Walk, Regional Legal Walks, Great Legal Bake, and Great Legal Quiz, as well as manage our third party challenge events. You will help to engage our supporters and large database in the legal community to generate fundraising.

You will play a vital role in the planning and organising of LLST’s flagship London Legal Walk, bringing together over 19,000 members of the legal community to walk 10km through central London and raise vital funds for over 100 free legal advice charities.

The role involves coordinating event logistics, managing supporter journeys and communications, maintaining our online presence, spreading the word about the importance of the work we do, and helping to develop our fundraising strategy. You’ll also line manage the Events & Fundraising Assistant and play a key role in maintaining LLST’s excellent reputation.

About The Role

As a Grants and Learning Officer, you’ll be helping us to deliver our ambitious, nationwide grants programme. We currently support over 500 grassroots organisations and 18-30 year old creatives, and have a busy grants cycle to manage, alongside ever-increasing numbers of applications. 

This year, we’re building and migrating to a new grants database and you’ll play an integral role on the project team. In addition, you’ll manage an assigned portfolio of grants, and help with all aspects of the funding cycle. You’ll support applicants and funded partners, make funding recommendations, administer grants, provide feedback and support, and visit projects.

First and foremost, you’ll be passionate about the work that Youth Music does. As a skilled administrator, you’re not fazed by planning, monitoring, reporting, and spreadsheets. This is a full-time role in a well-established charity based in Twickenham. This role would suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector with experience of working in social care.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support.

As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise the profile of adult carers and ensure adult carers needs are met. You will also be expected to work with our volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we have achieved.

Job Purpose

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications and Engagement Officer who can effectively convey the life-changing impact of our work, motivate our community to volunteer, donate and fundraise to support our work, and ensure that the information and educational resources we provide reach those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities 

Communications:

· Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure timely and appropriate replies.

· Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging content and posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.

· Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.

· Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.

· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.

· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.

· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.

· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.

· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.

Engagement:

Job Purpose:

This role sits within Family for Every Child’s (Family) Sustainability team, providing comprehensive support for all aspects of financial management.  The Finance Officer will work closely with the Secretariat, providing a central support function for the Sustainability, Impact, and Innovation teams.  This role will support the International Finance Manager (IFM) in building an internal finance function and will work with Family’s outsourced financial service provider in the UK to transition support in-house, ensuring efficient income and expenditure processing, reconciliation and reporting.

This role includes study support to become a qualified accountant (ACCA) with the potential for role development linked to successful exam progression. Family offers a study leave policy of 10 days over a rolling 12 month period (pro rata for part time staff).

Scope and Limits of Authority:

The post holder is expected to organise their own day-to-day activities according to the overall priorities and timescales set, and to exercise sound judgement in many critical decision-making areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance administration

• Principal point of contact for staff and suppliers (purchasing, expenses and payments).

• Managing and organising the finance inbox, ensuring queries are answered in a timely manner and ensuring good supplier relations are maintained.

• Processing all invoices and expenses onto the accounting system, ensuring correct coding and allocation of costs.

• Preparation of domestic and international payment runs, ensuring international payments are compliant with local requirements and following up on any issues.

Payroll

Financial budgeting and reporting

• Supporting and coordinating the budgeting process with the International Finance Manager and budget holders, updating the budget templates and checking the draft budget for accuracy and completeness.

• Supporting the production of monthly and quarterly financial reports and cash flows, reviewing trial balances prior to accounts consolidation, carrying out income reconciliation  review by the International Finance Manager, and completing sample checks of the financial reports.

• Supporting the Impact team by reviewing project budgets, re-forecasts and financial reports prepared by members

Income processing and reporting

• Carrying out the income reconciliation between the Bank and Salesforce, working with the Database Officer and Analytics & Process Officer to ensure the necessary adjustments to the database are made.

• Ensuring income recognition is in line with accounting standards and preparing and uploading draft journals for recognition of income to Xero.

• Preparing and completing HMRC Gift Aid submission files, monitoring the Gift Aid debtor balance and receipts from HMRC

• Assisting the IG Finance Manager in administering and reporting on legacy income 

• Carrying out financial analysis and reports as needed for donor reporting, forecasting and financial modeling.

Cross Cover support

• HR:  Managing the monthly payroll process with the outsourced provider including provision of data, and checking reports and calculations, for UK payroll and all international payrolls

• HR: Maintaining day to day liaison with line managers and any outsourced payroll and employment providers (EOR).

• Fundraising:  Assisting the Supporter Care team with income processing, including regular payment processes

• Impact:  Assisting the Programme Officer with purchase orders and grant management as needed to cover periods of leave and heavier workloads (i.e. during events, etc…)
