• Lead the use of advanced algorithms and tools to improve efficiency and decision-making across the division.

About you 

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proven experience applying advanced analytical techniques in marketing, including segmentation (e.g. cluster analysis), behaviour prediction (e.g. propensity modelling), churn analysis, A/B testing, and data visualisation. 
• Strong skills in R (R Studio) or Python for statistical analysis in a commercial context. 
• Experience with data analytics tools and platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI, and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) is desirable. 
• Experience working with large datasets, including extracting and preparing data using SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases. 
• Passion for applying data to drive positive social impact.

Ways of Working:

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office in London (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).  This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent alongside the analysis team for collaboration and innovation activities, and for divisional in-person days. The Analysis team currently works in 3-week planning sprints with two virtual team stand ups a week.

Your new role
The Human Resources Division supports all people management activities across the school and is committed to delivering high-quality and customer-focused services. Reporting to the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations, this post is responsible for maintaining existing HR policies and contributing to the development of new policy in consultation with a wide range of HR colleagues and stakeholders across the School.
This role also supports the development and implementation of key employee engagement and wellbeing projects. This includes playing an important role in developing and implementing initiatives and actions that emerge from staff feedback and annual benchmark reports. The post-holder will present a positive and efficient image of the Human Resources Division, working collaboratively with colleagues inside and outside the Division in order to deliver high-quality solutions that contribute towards the School's strategic agenda.Key responsibilities will include:

Policy Development:

• To stay informed of new legislative developments and ensure that appropriate revisions to HR policy are made accordingly, as well as working with the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations to ensure that the wider HR Division is aware of the changes.
• To undertake appropriate policy benchmarking across the sector and with other leading organisations (both public and private).
• To support in ensuring that the university has a set of up-to-date and appropriate HR / employment policies and that these are accessible to staff and line managers, maintaining a regular programme of monitoring, review and improvement.
• To contribute to the development of discussion papers, with appropriate recommendations, for consideration by the HR Management Board, School Management Committee (SMC) and trade unions.

Employee Engagement Projects

• To support ongoing activities relating to staff engagement and wellbeing, e.g. related projects, events and initiatives.
• To produce draft reports and initial analyses to support the development of new projects and initiatives.
• To support the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations in monitoring the progress of both individual projects and progress against over-arching action plans, e.g. the School's Gender Pay Gap report.
• To take on the role of Data Lead for the HR Policy Team, supporting with developing the reporting and analytics roadmap, refining the data model to enable better use of available data and providing feedback on data quality issues.To liaise with the Information and Systems team, and other relevant colleagues as required, to produce timely and accurate management information to support project and development work within the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of working in a large HR department supporting a complex and diverse organisation
• Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR good practice, with experience of advising colleagues and managers on HR policy and procedure
• Experience of developing or contributing to HR policies across a range of topics
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience of servicing committees and/or organising events
• Experience of producing accurate minutes and/or meeting notes

The HIV Prevention Peer Project Lead will coordinate a team of workers in the delivery of an HIV prevention project in Southwark borough to increase uptake & awareness of HIV & sexual health testing, PrEP and HIV prevention strategies among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese speaking) communities. The work involves mapping community locations conducting HIV Prevention outreach and testing and engaging community ambassadors from local Latin American-focused organisations and businesses.

The project aims to raise awareness about methods of HIV Prevention, as well as reduce HIV stigma alongside improving the general health and wellbeing for Latin American communities in Southwark. 

Programme 

The Southwark Latin Community HIV Prevention Project will deliver a targeted programme of outreach, engagement, and education to the Latin American community in Southwark. The programme will include street-based outreach with our community engagement bus, Point of Care HIV testing and PrEP awareness sessions in community spaces such as high streets, local markets, nightclubs, bars/restaurants, and local Latin support and social organisations. 

Role 

You will coordinate a small team of staff and volunteers to provide education, support and HIV testing and referral services to Latin Communities in Southwark. You will coordinate monthly outreach activities using our mobile community testing bus to deliver interventions that increase HIV and sexual health testing uptake, condom usage, PrEP awareness, HIV treatment adherence support and reduce HIV stigma. Outline of key responsibilities for the Senior Project Officer (Great Outdoors)...

• Provide effective leadership and management of staff working at Offshoots and across the wider Great Outdoors team.
• Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure that project delivery runs smoothly, and project opportunities are maximised.
• Support the project officer(s) on site and across the Great Outdoors team in maintaining and developing appropriate links within the local community.
• Develop and run a successful multi-tiered volunteering programme at Offshoots Community Garden which fully integrates with all aspects or project operation.

• Responsible for safeguarding on site at offshoots, ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed and to support on site staff with issues involving young people and vulnerable adults.
• Ensuring the delivery of high performing projects across Offshoots and the Great Outdoors team.
• Demonstrating and implementing effective workload management practices for Offshoots and the Great Outdoors team
• Assist Offshoots and the broader Great Outdoors initiatives with all facets of responsible financial management for the company. Ensure compliance with financial procedures and processes. Collaborate with the Programme Coordinator to explore and establish opportunities for external funding and income generation.
• Ensure that the Offshoots and other Great Outdoors locations are secure and suitable for Newground staff, volunteers, and participants. Oversee the completion and documentation of all essential health and safety, environmental, and legal compliance protocols and checks for the Offshoots Site.
• Perform Risk Assessments for all activities and initiatives before they occur, documenting and storing them in the designated Management System. Make sure any faults or issues are communicated to the Programmes Coordinator and relevant health and safety representatives. Guarantee that the Offshoots site is secured at the end of each day by monitoring access and site security during operating hours.

We are looking for someone who has…

• A Full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. Your standard working hours will total 37 hours per week. During the summer months, from April to October, you will work 30 weeks from Sunday to Thursday, and in the winter months, from November to March, you will work 22 weeks from Monday to Friday.
• Experience of project management including monitoring financial budgets and monitoring outputs against set targets
• Experience of working with families and / or children and young people
• Experience of developing and running a volunteering programme, recruiting volunteers, and running volunteer groups
• Experience of Environmental and / or Outdoor Education in a formal or informal situation.

About You and The Role

Working as part of the Health & Care Quality team and within a designated geographical region (Southwest Region, which includes areas such as Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall and South Wales), the SCI specialist nurse will support those with newly acquired spinal cord injuries who are not admitted to specialist services, or those with established spinal cord injuries who are being re-admitted to hospital for treatment unrelated to their impairment.

Through telephone, email or face-to-face visits the SCI specialist nurse will offer guidance and advice to these individuals and/or their family members, addressing issues of concern associated with treatment and care and liaising on their behalf with healthcare professionals in the treating hospitals to ensure these are dealt with in line with best practice standards.

The SCI specialist nurse will also act as an educator for healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and care of spinal cord injured people and working in non-specialist settings and will contribute to the development and delivery of educational offerings available via the SIA Frank Williams Academy. When required, the SCI nurse specialist will support individuals through elements of the NHS Continuing Health Care assessment process, attending review or appeal hearings in their capacity as clinical specialist in SCI care. They will also contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and development of the SCI specialist nurse service via mechanisms put in place for that purpose.
