About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will be responsible for supporting the growth of income across individual, major donors alongside community and corporate fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and administrating fundraising and engagement activities, supporting inspiring campaigns, optimising stewardship and attending fundraising events.

As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will work closely with the fundraising and engagement team in the planning and development of fundraising initiatives. You will monitor and maintain donor and fundraising data in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures. You will be involved in the planning, implementation of PR, communications, media posting, newsletter, AGM and any other appropriate organisational priorities.

You will have a proactive approach in working well on own and in a team and engage with the wider population of Mind BLMK’s workforce and volunteers.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all induction and mandatory training, ensuring it meets organisational requirements
• Ensure induction material is up-to-date and engaging
• Ensure all training offered is innovative and engaging and uses technology where possible
• Host the first day of the induction programme 'Feel at Home'
• Deliver ad-hoc training as required
• Coordinate schedules and rotas for mandatory training and induction delivery
• Commission, market, and deliver the learning and development programme in line with organisational needs whilst ensuring value for money, professional training delivery and demonstrable outcomes
• Regularly review and improve the training offer in line with best practice

• Ensure LMS is fit for purpose and used effectively so that staff and managers are clear on the training available to them and when they are going out of date with mandatory requirements

• Use the LMS system and work with the Performance team to produce management reports (including but not limited to safeguarding, attendance, non-attendance and operational induction monitoring)
• Use data and analytics to monitor training effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programmes to ensure that it demonstrates effective return on investment and meets initial training objectives
• Implement improvements based on feedback and outcomes
• Work with Recruitment, Training and Talent Manager to deliver training within budget, maintain the budget spreadsheet and ensure prompt payment to suppliers
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, senior leaders, training providers and LMS provider

• Work collaboratively with the L&D and wider People team

As Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer (Corporate Partnerships), you will join their award-winning fundraising team - a team of eight, including a Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships, three Philanthropy Partnerships Managers, two Philanthropy Officers and a Philanthropy and Corporate Assistant.

This is a corprorate partnerships focused Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer role, ideal for someone skilled in business development and relationship management who is passionate about driving social impact through strategic partnerships. You will work with a diverse range of companies — from global brands and corporate foundations to purpose-led SMEs — helping to deliver mutually beneficial partnerships that raise both income and profile for Hand in Hand International.

As Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer (Corporate Partnerships), you will:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners, corporate foundations, and institutional organisations
• Support the expansion of new, high-value strategic partnerships
• Help develop and deliver the organisation’s Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) product to raise both revenue and brand visibility
• Identify, cultivate and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
• Contribute to the corporate team target of $3.2 million and the overall PCP team target of $7.1 million
• Collaborate with programme teams to develop tailored, impact-led proposals and partnership pitches
• Steward existing corporate partners to deepen engagement and ensure mutual value
• Build strong, strategic relationships with corporate stakeholders at all levels

Ideal skills and experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or major donor fundraising
• Proven ability to secure new partnerships and deliver tangible income results
• Track record of managing and growing six-figure relationships or accounts
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, confident engaging with senior stakeholders across sectors
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and ability to align business objectives with social impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at developing compelling proposals and pitches
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-focused

Head of Finance & Operations

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Operations to join our growing team in this flexible, remote working role (4 days per week).

The Role

As Head of Finance & Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading EFN’s financial, operational, and HR functions, ensuring the organisation continues to thrive and deliver on its ambitious strategy.

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), you will join the Leadership Team and work closely with the ED and Board of Trustees to ensure sound financial management, operational excellence, and a supportive, effective working culture.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance and operations leader who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

You will have:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT)
• At least 7 years’ experience in financial and operational management within the charity sector
• Strong understanding of HR, IT, risk management, and governance in small teams
• Proven experience managing budgets, audits, and charity accounts (Xero experience ideal)
• Excellent project management and strategic planning skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and mentor others
• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach

Desirable:

• Knowledge of UK charity governance and reporting requirements
• Experience working with philanthropists, funders, or in the environmental sector

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Winchester.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising peer opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and possess personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

This role will be prison based, working 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday.
