This combined Programme Manager, Facilitator role will be instrumental in raising awareness and developing skills in schools across Wales.
This post requires daily travel within South Wales.
The role will involve:
- A thorough understanding of the ready-made online resources to facilitate LifeSkills workshops, online and in person
- Creation and management of a deployment plan to achieve agreed targets for students and engagement of Barclays staff
- Maintaining systems for timely and accurate monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the effectiveness of the LifeSkills programme in line with contract requirements
- Sharing best practice and collaborating within and across BITC’s programme managers/facilitators in Scotland and Northern Ireland
The successful candidate will be:
- Managing the delivery of programmes to meet contractual obligations
- Working with business, schools and/or community organisations to create mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships
- Delivering highly engaging workshops which respond to learner needs and remain true to workshop objectives
The role requires travel across the region for programme delivery and participant interaction.
Salary:
The salary band for this role reflects the flexibility we offer with the contractual location. Candidates will be based at home and have personal transport to travel to schools across Wales. This role is 28 hours per week until 31 July 2025 with a full-time equivalent salary of £27,945 to £32,000 per annum (this will be prorated for part-time hours).

- To create and assist in the drafting of timely and well-informed reports, business cases and provide advice regarding commercial developments.
- Develop an effective network with Fire and Rescue Service sector groups and other internal and external stakeholders.

ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. Job Overview:
As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA in the UK. This is a remote position (for now) that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to achieving our organisational objectives.

Programme Manager
We are looking for an experienced programme manager to lead an established Inclusive and Nurturing Schools (INS) programme to implement nurturing education across seven boroughs in London, commissioned by the London Violence Reduction Unit.

Position: Inclusive and Nurturing Schools Programme Manager
Location: Remote (UK based homeworking)
Salary: £37,800- £43,449 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexible)
Duration: Fixed Term contract until January 2026
Benefits: 25 days annual leave allowance + bank holidays (pro rata for length of contract, and if part time), birthday day off and 5% Employer pension contribution, Medical scheme, Flexible working supported.

About the Role
The charity is leading on the Inclusion strand of the programme, delivering training to education professionals in 70 schools across London. The charity is working in partnership with Tender, a charity specialising in the prevention of gender-based violence and the promotion of healthy relationships between children and young people. Tender is leading on the Healthy Relationships strand of the programme.
In particular, you will be responsible for leading the established (2022) programme to keep children supported, and thriving in school, tackle exclusions, and ensure children and young people have healthy relationship behaviours and attitudes.
The Programme Manager will:
- Lead on programme management (including budget management and reporting)
- Work closely with the programme manager for the healthy relationship strand to ensure high quality and coordinated delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with funders and contract managers
- Coordinate engagement with schools and participating boroughs
- Coordinate a delivery team
- Assess the impact of the INS programme
About You

- Working with schools or within the education sector
- Line management and managing contractors

About the Team
This interim role reports to the Director of Communications, Policy and Campaigns (CPC), alongside other Assistant Directors.
The CPC team drives Shelter's campaigns for social housing and renters' rights, supporting our services and income generation efforts.
You'll manage heads of important content and engagement teams, driving strategic direction and collaboration across functions.
About the Role
As Assistant Director Communications and Content, you'll lead Shelter's communication efforts, ensuring impact, reach and a coherent organisational voice.
You'll oversee media teams, drive cross-channel campaigns, and develop ambitious communication strategies. With your experience in matrix management and project/change management, you'll guide teams to achieve our strategic goals amidst organisational change.
About You
We're seeking candidates with extensive experience leading and managing media and communications teams, along with a track record of developing impactful cross-channel campaigns. Your ability to navigate complexity, build collaborative relationships, and drive strategic change will be crucial in this role.
