The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
Governance
·Provide support to the Chair, CEO and NAVCA Board, by arranging meetings and all meeting logistics, drafting agendas, collating papers and taking minutes, as well as efficient record keeping, and managing a forward look of Board priorities.
Office and IT Support
·Organise regular face-to-face and online team meetings and team events.
·Provide administrative support to the CEO, including diary management.
·Manage and liaise with external IT support to ensure all staff have the hardware and software they need.
· Maintain a general mailbox and answer general telephone enquiries.
· Maintain records of equipment held by staff.
· Support the processing of staff expenses.
· Provide administrative support for the NAVCA starter and leaver process.
· Provide administrative support to other members of the NAVCA team as required.
HR
·Ensure all personnel records are kept up to date.
The role is part time, 21 hours per week (equivalent to 3 days). The salary is £25,200 pro rata per annum plus 8% employer pension (no employee contribution required). At NAVCA you will receive:

The On The Water Project Assistant will support the delivery of the On The Water project at one of our boating stations in Birmingham. The project provides young people from outside Sea Cadets, age 9-14, the opportunity to get on the water, learn new skills and build confidence through boating activity. This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, inspiring, organized, creative, tenacious, positive, IT competent and with a real interest in people with a attention to detail and real enthusiasm for the project.
Responsibilities as our On The Water Project Assistant will include:.
- The welcoming and registration of participants for the On The Water project
- Collecting and uploading daily statistics and figures that show how the project is progressing
- Making new and repeat bookings
- Talking to participants and their parents/carers about the opportunities within Sea Cadets
- Managing a waiting list and reducing drop-outs
- Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants alongside the Boat Station staff
- Ensuring that participants complete surveys to share their experience of the project and encourage adults to feedback on their young people’s experience
- Attending any meetings as required by the project
- Assisting with the evaluation of the On The Water project

About MPE
Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) is a pan-European organisation representing 52 myeloma and amyloidosis patient groups from over 33 European countries. It is registered as an international non-profit organisation under Belgian Law. A Board mainly composed of patients and caregivers is elected by the membership to oversee the strategy and governance of the organisation. A team of 13 staff members runs remotely the day-to-day operations, programmes and services within 4 divisions: Access and Policy, Medical Education and Scientific Engagement, Patient Evidence and Member and Patient Community Programmes.
MPE is dedicated to improving the treatment, care and quality of life of patients with myeloma and AL Amyloidosis. To this end, the main goals of the organisation are:

- Developing existing patient groups and encouraging and facilitating the setting up of new groups

About the Patient Evidence department
The MPE Patient Evidence department was established in 2020 to generate evidence important to patients with myeloma and their families and is led by Dr Eilidh Duncan. Our goal is to understand unmet needs in the patient population and design patient-focussed research questions which will support new understandings and knowledge. MPE partners with academia, other patient organisations, industry and regulatory bodies where possible to understand more about what gaps exist within the myeloma landscape and how to best generate evidence on these. We work alongside MPE’s policy and access team to anticipate what questions need to be asked and what the data needs are for upcoming medicines approval processes.

This is a newly created administrative role to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in over 1,100 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. The organisation has an important role to Value, Care for and Protect general practice.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Workforce-Training and Innovation team, which provides project management across the organisation and training for constituents across the 27 Londonwide Boroughs that make up Londonwide LMCs. The team also coordinates a range of supportive services for practices that are delivered through managed relationships with associates.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Workforce-Training and Innovation and work within the WTI team, playing an integral part in linking our work across the directorates at Londonwide LMCs and externally with our practices and constituents.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Workforce-Training and Innovation team, enabling the smooth running of projects, scheduling meetings and supporting events. It would be helpful if candidates have excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience in:
- Owning the administrative tasks required to enable smooth team operations.
- Attending team meetings and other project meetings, providing administrative support, and ensuring an accurate record of the meeting and actions is made.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent post, but applicants seeking part-time/job-share roles are welcome.
As an organisation, we work flexibly, and regular home working is supported. The post is contractually based at our offices located in central London near Euston, where we host quarterly connect days for all staff. Whilst regular home working is supported, some travel or office attendance may be required to attend pre-planned meetings or events.
The salary for the role will be £25,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,000, making total remuneration £29,000). The Autism Centre of Excellence exists to improve access to high quality support and remove barriers and stigma for autistic people, but to do this we need to grow our funding.
We aim to raise £5 million over the next five years to increase our reach, impact and activities, whilst creating a sustainable and predictable income stream for the charity. To do this we need to systematically build a pipeline of donors and supporters, to build profile and new relationships. In the short term we need someone who can lead the development of a series of applications to trusts, foundations and other sources of funding to support our priority workstreams.
Main duties and Responsibilities
- Primary focus will be on managing and soliciting income from your own portfolio of high value trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing gifts of between £10,000 - £1,000,000 to successfully achieve the charity’s ambitious fundraising targets.
- Secondary focus will be on the planning and delivery of first-class Special Events and Major Donor fundraising.
- Create a robust prospect pipeline of effectively researched and qualified funders, ensuring a continued flow of prospects through the pipeline, taking a sales approach to lead generation and the assessment of the warmth and value donors.
- Deliver effective research of prospective and existing donors, which enables us to raise significant income through both new and existing relationships; utilising our networks effectively.
- Implement effective cultivation and stewardship journeys that provides a high-quality supporter experience to your portfolio of donors and prospects.
- Deliver first-class relationship management to ensure excellent ongoing relationships with donors in both a written and face-to-face capacity.
- Deliver exceptional writing skills through proposal and bid writing and day-to-day communication with donors and colleagues.
- Fully understand the charity’s projects and activities to both ascertain their suitability as funding propositions and communicate them in a compelling manner to funders.
- Work closely with operational colleagues to develop compelling and thorough cases for support to inform our research and fundraising strategies.

The West Midlands Historic Buildings Trust is seeking to employ a Heritage Assistant for current and future projects led by WMHBT, CoWRBPT, or WBPT. Reporting to the relevant Project Organiser and line managed by the Administrative Manager, the role will support the Trustees of the three Trusts with administration, finance and communications tasks linked to live projects being developed by any of the three Trusts.

The Concerts Team
The LSO’s Concerts team meticulously plans and organises all of the orchestra’s live and online performances, including the LSO’s main residency at the Barbican Centre; other UK concerts; commercial studio recordings; overseas tours; and all rehearsals. The team develops key relationships with the LSO’s musicians, extras, conductors, composers, soloists, artist’s agents, promoters and other venues
Overall Responsibilities of the Tours Assistant/Coordinator:
- Prepare and follow up cost estimates, contracts, technical riders and invoices for tours and UK concerts
- Coordinate logistics for overseas tours including travel, accommodation and per diem rates for the Orchestra.
- Prepare, label and assist in distributing electronic train/flight tickets, assist in creating seating plans
- Update and maintain the LSO diary and database (ArtsVision).
- Assist and advise players with their immigration arrangements.
- Assist with instrument freight documents for overseas tours.
- Liaise with third parties on preparations and logistics for upcoming tours.

- At least six months of relevant experience, preferably gained in the Arts sector
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail

- Highly motivated to work effectively both under own initiative and within the team to achieve necessary goals
