About the role

As Digital Platform Executive you will:

• Drive user acquisition and retention strategies for our App (sidekick by Suicide&Co). 

• Collaborate with developers to implement new features based on user feedback and engagement metrics.

• Monitor performance and user analytics to inform continuous improvement.

• Develop and manage in-app communication strategies, including push notifications and updates, to enhance user engagement.

• Coordinate with content creators to ensure timely and relevant messaging within the App.

• Oversee the in-app customer support system, ensuring prompt and effective responses to user inquiries and issues.

• Implement feedback mechanisms to gather user insights and improve App functionality.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise the use of our CRM system (HubSpot) for client, donor and stakeholder engagement.

• Ensure data integrity and security and provide training to staff on CRM functionalities on new processes or underutilised tools.

• Analyse CRM data to inform improvements to client experience and improve donor stewardship. 

• Maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with branding guidelines.

• Optimise website performance, user experience, and accessibility across devices.

• Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and visibility.

• Launch and manage our Google Ads Grant account, creating and optimising campaigns to maximize reach and impact.

Role responsibilities

· Developing and implementing Trussell’s influencing strategy

Working with teams across the organisation to ensure key groups, including our community of food banks, corporate partners, churches and church-related organisations have a clear role in our policy influencing approach.

· Planning and delivering impactful public affairs activity

Ensuring systems are in place to help plan, monitor and evaluate public affairs activity and maximise opportunities to engage with key audiences, including Parliamentarians, advisers, and UK Government Ministers; and support close working with colleagues in all UK nations and regions.  Managing the development and delivery of public affairs activity to support high profile influencing campaigns.

· Building and managing strong relationships with key external stakeholders

Developing relationships, partnerships and networks to help raise the profile, credibility and influence of Trussell and our policy positions, particularly in the UK Parliament.  Representing Trussell and promoting the organisation’s policy position to key audiences, including in meetings and events with Parliamentarians.

· Developing public affairs support to the food bank community

Working closely with a small team of Network Policy and Research Officers and the Organising and Local Mobilisation team to support our community of food banks to build and maintain strong relationships with their local MPs.  Ensuring public affairs activity is well aligned to campaign strategies involving the food bank network.

· Embedding participatory approaches across our public affairs and wider influencing activity

Supporting further development of a participatory approach to policy influencing to ensure it is rooted in the lived experience of individuals affected by poverty.  This includes ensuring an ethical approach in line with our values.

· Providing advice and line management

Have line management responsibility for individuals within the team, providing pastoral and development guidance along with task management on key projects.  This includes regular 1:1s, objective setting and collaborative monitoring, and support with development needs.

Person Specification

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

· Track record of successfully influencing politicians and key decision-makers to achieve strategic goals at different levels of government.

· Track record of delivering strategic public affairs activity based on robust evidence, from development to evaluation.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Health IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). You will work closely with victims of VAWG from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of VAWG at the highest risk and their children.

The Health IGVA will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals and providers to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about gender based abuse and different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG): including Domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional,  psychological, economic or tech abuse)​​, Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault​)​, Stalking and harassment ​, Sexual exploitation ​​(including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation)​​, Female genital mutilation (FGM)​/cutting , Forced marriage​​, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth.

The post holder will work in partnership with the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Gaia Service Manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area and build links with health professionals and support agencies. 

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support.

The Community Fundraising Team is an integral part of the Charity Fundraising Portfolio, by supporting a diverse range of inspiring supporter led fundraising activities. It is an exciting time to join the Team, as we plan for 25/26.

You will be one our Six Regional Community Fundraisers, based across the UK. Covering the East of England, you will focus on our key audiences of Individuals, Supporter Groups, Community organisations, Regional Corporates & Volunteers. Through the provision of exceptional stewardship & fundraising support, you will engage the community, maximising opportunities to raise funds in the Region. You will make the most of your boundless energy & creativity to inspire our community and will be the regional driving force, ensuring our Supporter Groups continue to thrive, & our annual Community Fundraising Campaigns including, The Big Bake & Twilight Walk Own Walks are a success.

Tearfund is looking for a Legacy Stewardship Officer to support our Legacy and In Memory marketing to increase the awareness amongst our audience about leaving a legacy to Tearfund.

The central purpose of the Legacy Team is to raise awareness of the opportunity to leave a gift in your will to Tearfund, stewarding with care and excellence those who have chosen to do so and to acquire more legacy pledgers for this growing income stream. 

You will have strong administration skills, with a natural ability to communicate effectively with supporters to ensure all legacy-supporter records are accurately maintained and updated.

• Has excellent organisational and administrative skills for effective database management
• Can communicate well with existing and potential legacy supporters

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday with additional monthly on-call duties. What we are looking for

• Someone who is skilled in delivering a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to their work
• Experience working with people in recovery from addiction, including voluntary or lived experience. We are open to a range of experiences that demonstrate understanding and empathy in this area.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social or equivalent experience in a support setting. We value transferable skills, even if gained outside of formal qualifications
• Excellent communication skills and an understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems (such as Salesforce) to ensure accurate record-keeping

With a team of just three staff and a dedicated Board, we are entering a transitional period and are seeking an Interim CEO to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide hands-on leadership while we recruit a permanent CEO.

This is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role ideal for someone who is comfortable managing a small charity and supporting both strategy and admin. You’ll work closely with staff and trustees, maintain momentum across our programmes, and support stakeholder and beneficiary engagement. Fundraising and marketing experience are a plus.
