We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, reporting, and compliance, whilst supporting operational excellence. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth running of our internal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities include:

Finance

• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and reporting activities.
• Oversee cash flow, accounting, and audit functions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Produce monthly expenditure reports to assist the Senior Management Team.
• Produce quarterly management accounts for Board and Lenders.
• Prepare the annual financial statements and oversee the audit process.
• Ensure financial and regulatory returns are submitted in a timely manner.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the Board, Chief Executive, and Senior Management Team, driving sound decision-making, procurement decisions, business planning, fundraising and value for money.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of Canopy’s tenants’ rent accounts, preparing and issuing statements as required by the regulator.
• Establish and maintain working practices that would comply with the Regulator of Social Housing’s Economic Standards
• Ensure contractors, suppliers, petty cash accounts, and volunteer expenses are paid in a timely manner.

Administration & Operations

• Supervise the bookkeeper.
• Manage the IT Support Contractor, ensuring they maintain data integrity, security, and availability across the organization.

The Person

Essential Criteria

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience of managing audits and preparing statutory accounts.
• Experience of working in a senior administrative or operational role.
• Experience of managing or supervising staff and/or contractors.

About the Role

About the Youth Endowment Fund 

We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.

Last year, 509 children were tragically admitted to hospital after being assaulted with a knife. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.

At the Youth Endowment Fund, we are working to create lasting change. To succeed, we must build a world-leading body of knowledge on the violence that affects young people and how it can be stopped. This means producing rigorous, relevant evidence — through synthesis, data analysis and in-depth research into young people’s lives. But knowledge alone isn’t enough. We must make it accessible and actionable: showing what works, how services need to change, and how the systems around them must adapt. And we must partner with the people who can make change happen — across policy, practice and local systems — to turn evidence into impact.

About the role

We recently started a new workstream of research into why violence happens, and which children are most vulnerable. We are working with experts across research, policy and practice to investigate: 

· What are the risk and protective factors for violence?

· Why does violence happen? What are the underlying causes?

· How can we use this research to improve policy and practice, and keep children safe?

We are recruiting a Senior Research Manager to lead a portfolio of projects in this workstream. This will include research exploring how predictive tools and algorithms are used to assess risk of involvement in violence and guide support decisions.This joint programme with UKRI Safer Streets Mission will investigate whether these tools can help practitioners identify people at risk accurately, safely, and fairly—and whether their use improves outcomes.

Predictive tools are structured frameworks that aim to help professionals such as police analysts or social workers assess someone’s likelihood of committing violence. They differ from “pure” professional judgement, where practitioners rely solely on their own assessment without a formal checklist or model. These tools have been used for years but are becoming both increasingly powerful and controversial as new approaches, including machine learning, emerge.

The Senior Research Manager will commission and oversee a research team to deliver two projects:

1. A systematic review of existing research on predictive tools in violence prevention.

2. Primary research on how these tools are currently used in England and Wales, including their practical and ethical implications.

The final report will assess predictive accuracy, impact, implementation, ethics, and equity. The Senior Research Manager will ensure methodological rigour and translate findings into clear, actionable guidance on whether and how these tools should be used.

The Senior Research Manager will also lead a range of related projects, such as:

· Commissioning new research into the causes, risk factors and protective factors for violence.

· Contributing to the development of accessible online tools (similar to our existing Toolkit) which make this research accessible and help decision makers target support where it is most needed.

The Senior Research Manager will be part of YEF’s Research team. The Research team is at the heart of our efforts to learn what works and put it into practice. We do this by developing the YEF’s funding strategy and creating free, highly accessible research summaries and actionable recommendations for policy makers, commissioners and practitioners. We’re a high-performing team which values intellectual rigour and getting to the truth, compassion for children, ambition about what we can achieve and humility about what we know. We love to discuss the latest developments in research methods, but we’re not just interested in research for its own sake. We want research to lead to actual changes in outcomes for children.

About our Complex Needs & Community Services

The successful candidate will manage and develop the Complex Needs and Community Teams at Hertfordshire Mind Network. The Services Manager will be responsible for leading a variety of services currently including the Flourish (asylum seekers and refugees) contract and the Primary Care Network contract. About the role

The role requires travel across Hertfordshire to our Wellbeing centres, community partnerships and external organisations and is responsible for a team of staff and volunteers who work within Complex Needs and Community teams across the county.

As a Services Manager you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and work in partnership with Complex Needs Team Leaders and the other Service Managers across the Charity. • Support the Director of Complex Needs and Community with effective running of the complex needs and community services.
• Build strong relationships and liaise with commissioners and partner organisations.
• Manage the Flourish and PCN contracts.
• Work closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
• Support the development of services by promoting and being responsive to changing needs.
• Oversee the recruitment and management of client facing staff.
• Be a strong safeguarding level 3 champion and manage/support referrals.

• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service, ensure all KPIs are met.

Purpose of the job

Thames21 is seeking an energetic, experienced and committed person to lead our team of Catchment Partnership hosts. This role will involve overseeing the development of our portfolio of 10 hosted and co-hosted Catchment Partnerships across a diverse landscape of urban and rural river catchments spanning London and the wider Thames Basin.

Each partnership is unique, and we pride ourselves in developing each according to the local partners’ vision and as is appropriate for the character of the area and river. Our primary aim is to deliver the Catchment Based Approach and tangible on-the-ground improvements that achieve clean, healthy rivers which deliver social benefits for our communities.

The successful candidate will have operational experience at catchment level as well as management experience. The candidate will take a strategic overview of all catchment partnerships and guide our team of Catchment Partnership hosts and officers, enabling the enhanced delivery of the four priority themes: –

Stakeholder and community engagement as part of active, delivery focused partnerships.
Project identification and development to support delivery of catchment plans, sub-catchment plans and Thames21’s 5-year plan.
Successful fundraising for delivery of river catchment improvement projects.
Knowledge sharing, to bring people together in a way of working that is inclusive, collaborative, cross boundary and catchment wide.

Finally, the role will take a lead in ensuring the Thames21 Catchment Officer/host role is resiliently funded by working closely with partner organisations to increase investment in catchment partnerships to deliver healthy rivers and catchments.

Key responsibilities

· Work with Thames21’s Catchment Partnership Officers/hosts to develop their Catchment Partnership networks and ensure each is delivering against clear catchment and sub catchment action plans.

· Lead on the administration and reporting of Catchment Partnerships programme and line management of the Catchment Partnership team.

· Oversee the management of the Catchment Partnership Team budget, working proactively to identify and fill any funding shortfalls.

Right now, we are looking for an Independent Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Advocate to play a pivotal role in our Domestic Abuse Everyone's Business Service.

The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Prevention Team, sits within the wider Fundraising and Communications directorate and delivers the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign and Everyone's Business. 

Everyone's Business works with employers to deliver a domestic abuse and sexual violence response to their employees along with offering a range of tools and resources such as the Everyones Business Respond to Abuse Advice Line, a training package and an employee IDVA and ISVA service. The team have worked with approximately 250 employers ranging from large multi-national companies to statutory organisations and local authorities. 

Please note this is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK with the requirement to be at our Head Office in London 1 day a week (Thursday).

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves providing both emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of gender-based violence, including those at high risk. This includes completing DASH risk assessments and tailoring support to each survivor's individual needs. The postholder responds to referrals from employees with lived experience of abuse through the Everyone's Business IDSVA service and acts as the lead IDVA/ISVA for some contracted business partnerships. They work closely with businesses adopting IDVA/ISVA services and are responsible for maintaining and updating business development plans as required.

A key part of the role includes building relationships and raising awareness with partner organisations through meetings and training, and working collaboratively with criminal and civil justice agencies, health services, SARCs, police, courts, social care, and other voluntary sector organisations. The role includes conducting needs and risk assessments, developing individual safety and support plans, and acting as a single point of contact for survivors throughout their journey, whether or not they choose to report to police. It also includes multi-agency advocacy and attendance at MARACs, always maintaining a trauma-informed and survivor-focused approach.

The role requires an ISVA or IDVA qualification or equivalent relevant experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence, along with a willingness to undertake further training. A strong understanding of the impact of domestic and gender-based violence on survivors and their children is essential, as is experience in risk assessment, safety and support planning, and providing both emotional and practical support, including guidance on legal remedies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with employers to respond to domestic and sexual violence, as well as a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and trauma-informed practice. Knowledge of intersectionality, diversity, and equality is important, along with experience participating in the MARAC process and working within a multi-agency framework.

The role also demands excellent administrative and time management skills, confidence working independently, and the ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure. Proficiency in using digital systems to accurately record casework and prior experience in delivering presentations or training sessions are also required.

This role is a full time position and reports to the Director of People + Operations. 

This is a mission critical role that helps us build seamless, smart, and compliant operations for our organisation. The overall remit of this role is to:

1. Support on key aspects of financial management across budget development and forecasting, monthly reporting, and managing our external finance partners.

2. Managing domestic and international payroll via our employment partners, and managing vendors and contracting. 

3. Support on general operations across systems and software administration, and compliance practices.

Financial Management + Forecasting

• Support work on annual and multi-year budget forecasts, based on programming needs and organizational trajectory 

• Develop and maintain budget forecasting tools for departments to manage their annual budgets, to help inform strategic decision-making

• Manage organization’s cash flow to ensure financial stability across restricted and unrestricted funding

• Allocate staff, program, and operational costs to appropriate grants and work with finance partners to create budget systems to assign and track that spend

• Oversee work of our external bookkeeping and accounting partner–Jitasa–and serve as their main point person

• Develop cost types and appropriate coding for all expenses, and manage correct use of them

• Ensure all expense policies and internal controls are in line with best practices, up to date, clear and accessible to staff, and consistently referenced

Payroll + Vendor Payment

• Oversee and execute payroll cycles for all employees and contractors, through our domestic and international PEO, and vendor management platform

• Oversee  relevant local and state taxes and reporting, in line with US PEO requirements

• Responsible for payroll administration such as new hire documentation and processing standard payroll on a monthly basis and any payroll changes

• Manage contracting process, liaising with outside legal counsel when required

Business Operations + Additional Support

• Manage all software and team systems, including access, permissions, and renewals

• Ensure all systems and data are managed in compliance with GDPR and other data protection legislation

• Ensure team data protection policies are up to date, relevant and adhered to

• Serve as the main point of contact to Climate Catalyst’s insurance broker and manage insurance policies – ensuring all policies are clearly accessible and paid in a timely fashion.

• Fill out and maintain all relevant lobbying documentation for the US, Europe, and any other relevant jurisdictions

• Ensure that all policies, trademarking, and terms of service are up to date on our website

• Support in material development for Board budget presentations

• Manage existing technology and equipment inventory and procure new equipment for all new hires and support in onboarding and offboarding as required

• Identify and implement systems and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Our team

We're looking for a compassionate, self-starting individual who is tenacious, goal-oriented, and target-driven with a make it happen mentality, because they know the impact growing this movement will have on thousands of people's lives.

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.

As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.

You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. You'll need to be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven ability to build a robust pipeline and deliver on growth targets, specifically around Debt Centre growth motivated by our desire to help more people out of debt and poverty and see them become followers of Jesus.

Partnership Development Manager Scope

• The team is split between full time and part time PDMs. 
• Significant amount of travel with large regions to cover. 
• This role has no direct reports.
• In line with our expenses policy, all expenses (e.g. mileage costs) are claimed retrospectively via our CAP Expenses system. 

Role:

Accountabilities:

• Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
• Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
• To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region. 
• To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
• Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre. 
• To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
• Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
• To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities. 
• To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
• To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner. 
• To advocate and make introductions where appropriate for Church talks, CCT and fundraising opportunities.
• Where appropriate, to represent Partnership Development in additional projects which improve the delivery and content of CAP's products and services.
