Learning Support Assistant x2 (Term time only)

We are seeking two compassionate and patient Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while providing individualised assistance to students with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support: Work closely with students to address their individual learning needs, providing tailored support and encouragement and to have a case load of learners as part of supervision.

• Implement Individualised LP (Learner Passports/EHCP): Assist in developing and implementing EHCP/LP, ensuring students receive the appropriate support and accommodations.

• Assist with classroom activities: Collaborate with teachers/team leads to prepare learning materials, support classroom activities, and manage student behaviour as well as externa and internal events.

• Foster positive relationships: Build rapport with students, encouraging communication and creating a supportive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress: Track student development, keep a daily record of support and progress, provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians on their progress and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with other professionals: Work alongside teachers, ALS Co-ordinator, Safeguarding, Attendance and Pastoral teams, College Counsellor, and other relevant professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.

• Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed records of student progress, interventions, support access arrangements,and any relevant observations.

• Exam Access Arrangements: Support students in exams as required (reader,scribe, etc)

• Safeguarding: to work as part of the SEND safeguarding team and where training will be provided.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to contribute to a team environment.

About our Complex Needs & Community Services

The successful candidate will manage and develop the Complex Needs and Community Teams at Hertfordshire Mind Network. The Services Manager will be responsible for leading a variety of services currently including the Flourish (asylum seekers and refugees) contract and the Primary Care Network contract. As the services grow and develop, other services/projects may sit under this post.

About the role

The role requires travel across Hertfordshire to our Wellbeing centres, community partnerships and external organisations and is responsible for a team of staff and volunteers who work within Complex Needs and Community teams across the county.

As a Services Manager you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and work in partnership with Complex Needs Team Leaders and the other Service Managers across the Charity. Reporting into the Director for Complex Needs and Community you will be directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of two or more of our Services and a key member of the Herts Mind Network Safeguarding team.

Responsibilities of the post

• Support the Director of Complex Needs and Community with effective running of the complex needs and community services.
• Build strong relationships and liaise with commissioners and partner organisations.
• Manage the Flourish and PCN contracts.
• Work closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
• Support the development of services by promoting and being responsive to changing needs.
• Oversee the recruitment and management of client facing staff.
• Be a strong safeguarding level 3 champion and manage/support referrals.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are current, understood by staff and that they are working within these policies and procedures.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service, ensure all KPIs are met.
• Process referrals and manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service, including Payroll and expenses submissions.
• Be part of the Senior Management on call rota (out of hours), attend SMT meetings as required and support the work of the wider SMT. 
• Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the service development by working alongside the Directors to evaluate service delivery and produce progress and monitoring reports.

CAFOD has an ambition to be digital first in our marketing and communications, to stay ahead of emerging trends and make the most of what digital technology can offer to strengthen our relationships with our supporters and in our ways of working across the organisation. Digital technology has already transformed our communications and will continue to do so. This senior communications and marketing role will be responsible for steering the ongoing digital transformation of CAFODs work, primarily in the supporter programme and also across the wider organisation.

This role encompasses overall responsibility for the brand, digital marketing, messaging, proactive and reactive media relations, with a core focus on digital transformation across all platforms. This post will play a key role in guiding our digital shop fronts and marketing efforts, evolving supporter journeys, steering our email programme and leading on the digital infrastructure to enable delivery of our supporter programme. It will ensure that digital engagement and conversion is embedded and an integral part of our communications planning. 

This role will drive innovation and data-informed insight across the full spectrum of communications and wider organisation functions. It will embed a digital-first approach across teams and guide and accompany the wider organisation on harnessing opportunities of new technologies, making digital engagement integral to communications planning. 

This role will drive brand awareness, brand advocacy and action across our programmes to ensure CAFOD is top of mind amongst the Catholic Community of England and Wales, helping to grow support from our constituency. You will bring proven senior-level experience in digital communications and marketing, ideally within the charity sector. With a strong understanding of communications at a senior level with expert knowledge of digital channels, audience engagement, and online conversion, you also have a strategic grasp of how digital integrates into broader communications and supporter strategies. Your leadership style is collaborative and visionary, and you have the gravitas and expertise to set the digital marketing direction for a large organisation, while bringing all teams along with your vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development, direction setting and delivery of an ambitious, insight-led digital-first communications strategy that enhances supporter journeys, increases engagement and drives measurable growth in support of our supporter programme, especially our parishioner-first fundraising strategy. 

• Act as CAFODs senior expert on communications, advising the Executive team, across departments and influencing strategic decision-making, including on digital direction and development, at the highest level. 

• Lead complex cross-organisational projects that improve our digital supporter experience, from acquisition to long-term engagement and conversion, ensuring timeliness and consistency with supporter programme priorities, especially the parishioner-first fundraising strategy and approach.

• Line manage senior specialists across digital marketing, website, and media and PR, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

• Passionate about digital innovation and technologies, with deep knowledge of platforms, formats, and trends.

Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Purpose of the Role

This is a visible, high-profile position that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic insight and driving excellence across ZSL’s financial and commercial reporting.

As Senior Reporting Manager, you will lead a small, high-performing team and take responsibility for ZSL’s business and commercial reporting, including monthly performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs and business planning, as well as financial reporting on cash, reserves and the balance sheet. You’ll also support the year-end process and preparation of the Annual Report, while contributing expert financial analysis and modelling to inform decision-making across ZSL’s four businesses.

This is a hybrid role, typically based 2–3 days per week at ZSL’s iconic Regent’s Park headquarters. It’s an exciting opportunity for a strategic finance leader who thrives in a mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial & Commercial Reporting: Lead ZSL’s financial and commercial reporting, including month-end close, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development and performance insights, ensuring timely, high-quality analysis and clear reporting that supports strategic decision-making. Which includes the development of finance reports, through systems such as Power BI.
• Financial Accounting: Oversee ZSL’s financial accounting and statutory reporting, including consolidated cashflow, balance sheet and reserves management, VAT and Gift Aid returns, and year-end audit preparation, ensuring robust ledger integrity, accurate reconciliations and successful sign-off of the Annual Report and Financial Statements.
• Leadership and Business Partnering: Lead and develop ZSL’s business partnering team while working directly with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing strategic insights and hands-on support to drive performance, growth, and alignment across all four business units, including dedicated focus on the Fundraising and People Directorates.

About You

• Qualified accountant (either ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proven experience leading a business partner function.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and experience of PowerPoint.
• Proven finance business partnering experience working within a large complex organisation.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in business performance whilst maintaining positive relationships.
• Experience of managing a small team, with a successful track record of providing direction, support and coaching.

For an international NGO based in London, we are recruiting a permanent Business Partnering and Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, this role will oversee all business and commercial reporting, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and KPIs, as well as the financial reporting, balance sheet, cash and reserves reporting and reconciliations. We're looking for a compassionate, self-starting individual who is tenacious, goal-oriented, and target-driven with a make it happen mentality, because they know the impact growing this movement will have on thousands of people's lives.

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.

As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.

You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. Partnership Development Manager Scope

• The team is split between full time and part time PDMs.

Role:

Accountabilities:

• Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
• Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
• To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region. 
• To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
• Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre. 
• To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
• Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
• To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities. 
• To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
• To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.
