Key Roles and Duties
In this exciting role you will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels.
More specifically this will include:
Strategic Planning and Implementation
Plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:
- Increase individual gifts through enhancing the donor journey.
- Boost the monthly giving 'thrive fund' programme.
- Develop new individual giving campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across various channels.
Donor Data Analysis and Segmentation
Analyse and segment the supporter base to develop targeted supporter journeys and ask strategies, using donor data from our CRM (Salesforce) to:
- Maximise the lifetime value of donors.
- Ensure effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Stewardship and Donor Engagement
Manage donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications, including:
- Producing supporter materials.
- Building a thanking programme that offers a personal and engaging donor experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify individual stories for impactful campaign content.
- Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
- Maximise gift aid opportunities.
Campaign and Material Management
Work closely with the Communications Manager to:
- Create campaigns.
- Generate publicity opportunities e.g. radio, newspaper, online etc.
- Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
- Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
- Manage the production of supporter materials.
- Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.
Innovation and Market Trends
Lead the charge in:
- Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
- Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.
General:
- Collaborate and communicate well with team members and particularly line manager.
- We are a small dynamic team; the post holder will work over many areas offering lots of opportunity to work with staff in different departments and learn about the different aspects of charity.

Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
- A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment.

Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention.
- Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
- Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.
- Language skills in Spanish or French (key languages of our overseas partners).

The role
The Customer Support Executive role is responsible for assisting both internal and external stakeholders through out every action taken. This role is required to have in depth knowledge of all FareShare Go, and FareShare Uk’s policies and procedures, our various systems and platforms, excellent communication and analytical skills and a can-do attitude. The Customer Support Executive is the face of FareShare to our partner organisations, answering inbound queries to identify not only the issue but the root cause of the problem, and are responsible for seeing this through until the underlying cause has either been resolved or escalated to a stakeholder to investigate. This role goes beyond looking at these issues on a case-by-case basis, being responsible for highlighting trends across the issues that come across the support teams' desk to identify overarching themes and suggesting improvements to address these. Relationship management underpins every action carried out throughout the day, be it customer, stakeholder, or colleague facing to ensure that we are providing the best possible service we can. This can take many forms, from complaint handling with our customers when there is a retailer issue, expectation management when there is a customer misunderstanding, conflict resolution between our customers and/or retailers, to ensuring that all our records are detailed, up to date and inclusive of all information needed for our colleagues to carry out their role. This team sets the standard for customer support for FareShare, acting as brand ambassadors whilst advocating for our charities and retailers alike to ensure that we achieve our mission of ensuring that suitable food reaches our communities by supporting our community partners who tackle the causes behind the symptoms of food poverty in the United Kingdom.
Main areas of responsibility
Resolving support issues
- Working with our charities to maintain seamless high quality support, including solving issues as they arise, and escalating to appropriate stakeholders.
Charity compliance
- Managing all charity compliance workstreams for one of four FSGo Regions through effective reporting, analysis, communication and intervention with charities to achieve agreed KPIs
Effective use of CRM
- Understanding and using a Customer Relationship Management system to support all charities, by maintaining up to date records on all charities and scheduled donations.
Supporting regional teams
- Working closely with our regional field teams to transition charities from initial to ongoing support, supporting their engagement and retention work with collecting charities.
Stakeholder support
- Working with the data support team to identify support trends, by analysing performance, gauging satisfaction and proactively escalating key issues.
- Working closely with our retailer partners and tech supplier to resolve issues and action requests.
Charity Recruitment and lead Generation
- Make charity eligibility assessments and understand their need and capacity for surplus food, in order to maximise the volume of food donated.
- Assisting with rollouts to new retailers, proof-of-concept and trial initiatives.

The Head of Business Development role
We are looking for an experienced, confident, and committed Head of Business Development to join our growing charity. This senior role is part of GMYN’s leadership team and would be responsible for coming up with new business opportunities to generate income, as well as produce proposals to various funders and trusts.

Key responsibilities

Personal Specification
You don't have to have worked in the voluntary youth sector previously. Our aim is to find a suitable candidate that can meet the selection criteria below. This can be from a past/current income generation/business development role, or a role with transferable skills.
More importantly we are looking for someone with genuine passion for working for a youth charity. Someone who can join our fundraising team and make a big impression, helping us to achieve our income generation goals. We want to hire an enthusiastic person who can maintain positive working relationships with various supporters, delivery partners and all stakeholders.
- Proven experience in achieving new business and generating income for an organisation, with relevant experience in a similar role or a role with transferable skills.
- Experience of successful bid production and bid management – from identification of opportunity through to submission.
- Track record in successful tendering for retention of contracts and new business.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective networks, relationships, and partnerships – internally and with external stakeholders – to support development of proposals and service design.
- Knowledge of public sector commissioning, particularly from a third sector and ability to work with local authorities and other funders.
- Knowledge of the structures of the voluntary/statutory and private sectors with regards to supporting the funding and delivery of youth programmes.

The Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our Corporate and Community Giving portfolio. You are a dynamic individual with a successful track record in corporate fundraising, capable of securing significant income through corporate and community events. Your skills include:

The aim of the post is to work alongside the Parent Peer Advocate to improve and enhance the West Glamorgan regional advocacy network by creating a new form of peer advocacy and peer support for parents who are going through the child protection process, statutory assessment and/or the looked after children system within the Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea area.
Main Duties

This is a newly created role as they seek to grow engagement and support from people affected by this condition. They are a relatively small and agile organisation who punch above their weight and have big ambitions.
This charity is dedicated to making life better for people with eczema and their families. In the UK, around 1 in 5 children and 1 in 10 adults live with eczema, so lots of people look to the charity for hope and support. Fundraising underpins all of the charity's work and is crucial to their success. As Individual Giving Lead you will be responsible for driving donations and supporter engagement using personal, story-led communications.

Working within the IT Department, the Senior Support Analyst is the primary resource responsible for advanced 3rd line support of our systems, infrastructure, and networks. This covers both troubleshooting complex issues as they arise, as well as handling system implementations, maintenance, and configuration changes. You will help to ensure our IT services to our residents, members, and the Trust staff, are of the highest quality. In particular you will be responsible for the management of the broader Somerset House wired and wireless networks, resolving network issues, configuring switching, routing, and firewalls. You will lead on the provisioning of IT infrastructure for events and be responsible for the onboarding and continued service delivery of IT and communications services in resident offices and member spaces.
You will work across a range of technologies and systems, from desktops to server to SaaS, maintaining ownership of support cases and project work from start to finish. Additionally, the role will participate in the implementation of various IT solutions and projects as we work to improve our digital capabilities.

What we are looking for:
- Advanced management, maintenance, and configurations of our large site wide network, and to be the point of escalation when there is a service delivery issue. The Cisco Meraki network consists of over 6,500 wired data ports, 335 wireless APs, 179 switches, and carries up to 7,000 clients a day.
- Advanced management, maintenance, and configurations of our additional infrastructure including our on-premises server estate, hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft 365 tenant, and various SaaS solutions.
- Plan and configure complex IT connectivity and other services (including wired connections, wireless connections, and VoIP telephony) across all tenanted spaces, including those areas occupied by the Trust.
- Plan and configure complex IT connectivity and other services (including wired connections, wireless connections, and VoIP telephony) across all event spaces as required by specific event requirements. This includes large scale public events run by the Trust with up to 3,000 audience members, and private hire events from our commercial events clients.
- Deal with and resolve escalations from the Support Analysts for residents, members, event partners, and Trust IT support issues and requests, ensuring that services are provided to the agreed standards.
- Resolve all reported IT issues in a professional and timely manner, documenting all activity on the service desk ticketing system, conforming to SLAs, and adjusting priorities to deal with urgent issues and requests.
- Where appropriate, escalate issues to external vendors as required and monitor the escalation to ensure satisfactory resolution. Escalations to external vendors are rare and it is expected that almost all cases would be resolved inhouse.
- Monitor and manage ticket queues, alerts, automated tickets, and perform daily checks on various systems as required.
- Research, project manage, and implement new solutions, security features, adaptations, and upgrades to IT services, working closely with colleagues to advise on changes for all future developments. Ensure that technical solutions are clearly defined and documented for the requirements of the intended client base.
- Hand over projects in a timely manner, with all operating and maintenance documentation in place.
- Undertake the training of others as required and document any processes or systems that are out of date or currently do not have documentation.
- Participate in the procurement of IT services, hardware, and software, providing specifications and contributing to tender documentation.
- Familiarise yourself with existing systems, processes, and policies, and look to improve these wherever possible. Create and update IT and related documentation to allow retention and sharing of knowledge within the team and the Trust.
- Participate as a team player in the support of colleagues within the department and across the Trust’s operations.
- Where required by key live events, exhibitions, and regular system maintenance taking place at Somerset House, to be able to shift working hours and days to provide support coverage.

Experience:

- 3rd line level of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Hyper-V, Mimecast, Office 365, and Azure, including line support and configuration.
- 3rd line level, supporting and installing standard productivity applications (Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, Adobe, AutoCAD, and various SaaS solutions) and operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, some Mac OS)
- Supporting desktop hardware (primarily Dell laptops) and mobile devices (iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets).
- Cyber security concepts and best practice, including Multi Factor Authentication, phishing, ransomware, passwords, firewalls, social engineering.
- Working in an IT service desk or team, ideally within a serviced/managed office environment.

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

To build a high-performing fundraising team to drive and stabilise significantly increased fundraising performance across a range of income streams. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy to successfully deliver Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision.

The appeal will raise the funds to enable a step change in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre and the impact we have for people affected by Cancer in our region. Leadership
· Champion fundraising across the organisation.
· Be an inspiring ambassador for Weston Park Cancer Charity and ensure this is reflected in the strategies, outputs, and behaviour of the fundraising team.
· Actively contribute to leading Weston Park Cancer Charity as a member of the Leadership Team.
· Work closely with the Leadership Team to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.

· Work with the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Manger to deliver and implement a legacy pipeline and growth in In-Memory giving income
· Work with the Individual Giving Fundraising Manager to deliver and implement a strategy which prioritises both the retention and acquisition of new donors, enhances the use of digital products, platforms, and channels and delivers the highest standard of supporter care and donor stewardship.
· Lead on the introduction of a charity lottery.
· Work with relevant colleagues to deliver a new strategy and plan which prioritises deepening and strengthening existing relationships and building a strong pipeline of new prospects to deliver multi-year funding from major donors, high profile supporters, trusts, foundations, and companies.
· Support the Data Manager with the adoption and use of Raisers Edge NXT CRM to effectively support data-driven decision making and relationship management to generate supporter insights in support of increased fundraising.
Brand and Marketing
· Working in collaboration with the Deputy CEO, Marketing Manager and external agencies in the development and delivery of an integrated marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.
· Foster a strong working relationship between the fundraising and marketing team to inspire high-performance and results-oriented marketing to build a community of supporters by delivering a seamless supporter journey that promotes the charity’s work and delivers greater income generation.
· Empower the fundraising team to successfully deploy our brand.
· Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is up to date, factually accurate and to manage reputational risk.·
People Management
· Create a high-performing team that is ambitious and passionate about Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision.
· Provide line management to direct reports, setting, and monitoring individual performance objectives and motivating the team to be innovative and professional in its thinking and delivery.
