We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.

What you will do:

• Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.
• Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.
• Raise awareness of PAPYRUS and its work by developing and delivering presentations and talks both online and face to face to supporters and facilitating necessary photo opportunities in line with GDPR for use if future promotional activity
• Manage costs and budgets for events, including forecasting, estimates and future year planning.
• Be proactive seeking out new initiatives and market trends in fundraising across the UK charitable sector.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of PAPYRUS challenge event fundraising assets, collateral, materials, and policies and procedures ensuring all content is on brand and to a high standard.
• Working with colleagues in Business Support Services to use the data collected across all donation platforms to analyse and inform required reports and update existing reporting mechanisms.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a fundraising role for a UK registered charity
• Experience of successfully managing a portfolio of third-party events
• Proven track record of successful relationship management with donors/ fundraisers 
• Proven track record of working effectively in a team
• Experience in creating and monitoring budgets
• Experience using Raiser’s edge or a similar CRM database.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment for fundraising from events fundraising including sponsorship, data protection, Gift Aid (incl GASDS) and Fundraising Codes of Practice and regulation
• Good knowledge of data selection, data analysis, insight and application of datasets for maximum success
• Understanding of events fundraising
• Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work some unsocial hours and travel to meetings / events as required across the UK

Process applications and referrals to services in a timely manner

• Verify that applicants are eligible beneficiaries and meet the Charity’s criteria.
• Prioritise any applications with particularly urgent requests 
• Check that each application is complete and follow up with applicants, as required, to ensure all information and supporting documents have been submitted.

Provide guidance and information to applicants

• Provide clear guidance to applicants throughout the application process and respond to their queries quickly
• Inform applicants of other potential sources of help and support

Recommend appropriate grant decisions

• Prepare objective, non-judgemental reports for each case, with appropriate, clear recommendations in line with the Charity's grants criteria.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on senior infrastructure and security manager to lead and manage Breast Cancer Now’s IT infrastructure and security operations.
This is a delivery focused role where you’ll take responsibility for building, configuring and maintaining infrastructure while also implementing and managing security governance controls. You’ll ensure our systems are resilient, secure and aligned with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus and NCSC guidance.

Location: Options for role to be site-based (Buckinghamshire or East Yorkshire), hybrid or home-based contract with regular UK travel for meetings and pitches.

Salary: £55,000 per annum.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to identify, secure and shape new strategic corporate relationships that will help drive income and awareness at scale.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their portfolio and build a robust, diverse pipeline of high-value corporate support.  

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role will take a lead on identifying, cultivating and converting new corporate partners to support Hearing Dogs. The post-holder will be responsible for driving the development of tailored, high-impact proposals and pitches to engage relevant companies and secure strategic, multifaceted partnerships that align with the charity’s mission and plans for growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building long-term successful corporate partnerships and a track record in securing multiple six-seven figure sums from partnerships and delivering against income targets.  You will have an entrepreneurial approach to your work alongside strong communication, interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have excellent networking and research abilities, with a methodical approach to pipeline development.

We're looking for a Technology Support Administrator to join our Technology Team. In this role, you'll provide vital administrative support for our technology service desk, working closely with the Technology Support team to ensure a high level of service. You'll handle everything from issuing equipment to new starters and providing basic IT support to ensuring our meeting rooms are running smoothly. If you're a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

As our IT Administrator you’ll be part of our Technology Team and will provide administrative support for our technology service desk team. 

You’ll work with the Technology Services Manager and provide a key role in the Technology Service Team ensuring a high level of service at all times.

What you’ll do

• Issue IT equipment for new starters and managing returned equipment for leavers

• Telephone, face to face and remote support - responding to requests for support and raising tickets on the service desk 

• Basic IT support using the knowledge base to guide users to resolve their own issues

• Ensure that support issues are kept up to date and have sufficient detail

• Provide support for our video conferencing equipment and meeting rooms

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience of working in an  administration role, preferably as part of an IT team 

• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service skills and demonstrable experience of dealing with support queries 

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own work

• Experience in being part of a team implementing new solutions and improvements
