We were founded in Luton in 2012, and in 2024 following a generous grant from the Moondance Foundation we launched our work in Wales. So far, we have supported 20,000 Welsh students in a quarter of Welsh secondary schools. By 2029 we aim to be working in all state secondary schools across the country.
We are looking for a strategic lead to take our work in Wales to the next level. With oversight of our Wales Accelerator, the postholder will develop relationships with funders, media, government, and other key players to open doors for our work across Wales. You will listen and respond to local needs to direct our operational work on the ground.
Success in this role will be measured by our increased profile, new partnerships and income secured to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of our work in Wales.
We are flexible about whether this is a full-time or part-time position. The postholder will work closely with me and our Trustees, our key Advisors and Ambassadors (high-profile and well-connected individuals from a range of sectors), as well as our Head of Programme and delivery team for Wales. This position fulfils the National Flood Forum’s role as part of the Environment Agency’s Resilience and Innovation Fund FAIR approach to Community Flood Risk project. The project officer will help communities to work in partnership with flood risk management agencies to better manage flooding and its impacts in their area. This will involve working with communities at flood risk and agencies using methodologies developed by the National Flood Forum and used successfully around the country.
We are seeking someone warm and approachable, who will be required to work in Staffordshire and potentially other areas in England & Wales. The Employer
The British Society for Haematology (BSH) is the largest UK multidisciplinary Haematology Society with over 3,000 members. Our activities include running education events and courses (including our flagship Annual Scientific Meeting held in April), producing guidelines, awarding grants, and raising the profile of haematology.
The Role
The main role of the BSH Guidelines is to provide haematologists with up-to-date advice on the diagnosis and treatment of haematological disease and on laboratory haematology practice, primarily by the production of evidence-based guidelines.
The co-ordination and commissioning of the required guidelines is administered by the Guidelines Team, overseen by the Guidelines Executive Committee; and carried out by four Task Forces, each responsible for a specialist area: blood transfusion, haemostasis & thrombosis, haemato-oncology and general haematology. In addition, each Task Force oversees 10-14 Writing Groups, who develop BSH guidance.
The post-holder supports the Guidelines Team, including coordination of activities of the volunteer groups and supporting liaison with external groups and organisations.

- Intermediate/Advanced IT Skills (Microsoft Office Package, Databases, Mailing Software, Web Content Management)

Join SPEAR and help end homelessness across Richmond and Wandsworth. As a Rough Sleeping Outreach and Assessment Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our Street Outreach Service and the new 24-hour Assessment Centre. One night you could be out on the street engaging with people sleeping rough; the next day you might be welcoming someone to the centre, creating a support plan, and linking them to housing and health services.
What you’ll do
- Carry out late-night street outreach and day-time reception shifts as part of a rota.
- Build trusting relationships with people who are rough sleeping and help them move quickly into safe accommodation.
- Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, including assessments, personalised action plans and follow-on help to sustain tenancies.
-Work closely with partner agencies to connect clients to health, housing, and other specialist services.

You bring experience of working with vulnerable adults, ideally in homelessness or a related field, and you’re confident working late-night shifts. About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Development Officer to join our small, dedicated Development team. In this pivotal role, you will:
· Contribute to individual giving fundraising activity across the department
· Support the strategic direction of the department by helping with the retention and recruitment of Patrons
· Support the management of international giving, including the US Patrons programme
· Support the organisation and delivery of Library events
· Build your knowledge and experience of legacy giving, stewardship and other fundraising processes to make a meaningful impact on the achievements of our small team.
About You
You are an enthusiastic professional with:
· GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
· Experience in a supporter/client-facing role and in administration within a busy team.
· Interest in fundraising and knowledge of best practices in the sector.
· Clear, courteous communication in person, by phone, email, and letter.
· Ability to write accurate, grammatically correct correspondence.
· Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.
· Positive team player with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
· Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new systems.
· Able to work effectively both in-office and remotely.

· Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities
· Patient and resilient with a good-humoured approach, particularly in relation to completion of essential routine tasks

UK for UNHCR, the UK partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), is seeking an Individual Giving leader to shape the future of Individual Giving at the organisation and unlock long-term, sustainable income growth.
UNHCR stands alongside people forced to flee their homes, advocating for their rights and raising funds to support their protection, dignity and futures. UNHCR’s work has never been more important – by the end of 2024, a record 122.6 million people were displaced, with children accounting for 40% of all forcibly displaced people
UK for UNHCR (UK4U) builds solidarity and raises funds in the UK for refugees worldwide - last year UK4U raised a total income of £25.5 million and continues to build on strong foundations since its beginnings in 2019.
The charity is now seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a new and exciting opportunity to explore how UK4U can expand on these foundations, with a focus on increasing the sustainability of the donor base and maximising lifetime value, as well as identifying opportunities for transformational income growth.
The role will be responsible for leading a team of 12 people and strategic leadership for all fundraising from the UK public, including mid-value and legacy supporters, and covering both digital and offline channels. The post-holder will utilise market insight, data intelligence and an innovative approach to design a high-performing long-term Individual Giving strategy that puts UK4U’s supporters and refugee communities at the heart of everything they do.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of leading successful, large-scale multi-million-pound Individual Giving programmes and proven leadership experience at a senior, strategic level. You will have a strong track record of fostering innovation in Individual Giving, alongside the experience shaping strategy and making significant investment decisions.
You will also have a deep understanding of the UK Individual Giving fundraising market across all channels and of programmes that focus on value, high average gift rates and mid-value programmes. Finally, you will be an inclusive and empowering leader with a strong commitment to the refugee cause. Experience of fundraising for international humanitarian and development causes would be an advantage, as well as understanding of mid-value programmes.

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for an Operations Director to join the Oasis Youth and Community national leadership team supporting local Oasis community charities across the country.
With accountability to the CEO the Operations Director will be responsible for three key areas of work:
- Lead key elements of policy and systems ensuring the Youth and Community function remains safe and compliant, and that local leaders and other key staff are effectively supported (including line management of People Services).
- Oversee the effective governance oversight for all local charities through a cycle of professional guidance and monitoring.
- Lead the national framework for monitoring and evaluation across activities.
