Main aims of the role:

• Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, HWR Board, Staff and Volunteers to develop print and digital communications and printed materials to support the work of Healthwatch and its outreach and engagement activities.

• Develop relationships with sector, national and local media

• Ensure a consistent brand and identity is maintained and support colleagues to ensure quality communications across all products and initiatives.

• Manage the HWR digital and print communications channels, such as enewsletters, social media and print newsletters. • Ensure and maintain the online/ Web presence of Healthwatch including Twitter and LinkedIn

• Secure local, regional and national press coverage of HWR work in a variety of publications.

• Support and sustain information, advice, and signposting services to ensure individuals are directed to appropriate health and social care services.

• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion by ensuring that communications are accessible to all segments of society.

• Publicise volunteer opportunities and their role in improving the delivery of health and social care services.

• Ensure compliance with Healthwatch England brand guidelines and protocols.

• Co-ordinate the design and production of press releases, information and promotional materials required by the team.

• Assist the CEO and the team with the production of reports as required.

• Review and monitor materials produced by other organisations and feedback areas of potential interest to the team.

• Provide general admin cover for the Healthwatch Redbridge office – answering telephones, dealing with general enquiries and visitors to the office.

Main activities of the role:

• Collate copy, edit content, design, and launch print reports on the work of Healthwatch.

• Collaborate with staff across Healthwatch to develop outstanding digital and print content for all HWR channels.

• Collate, develop, and manage content for the HWR website and ensure the website is kept up to date.

• Collate, develop, and manage content for Healthwatch email marketing.

• Manage the HWR social media presence with engaging content.

• Support the delivery of Healthwatch events and engagement programme.

• Monitor effectiveness and impact of all communications activities, making recommendations for change.

Management Team:

New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. They will work as part of the existing Youth Work Team to provide vital additional capacity and expertise to respond to the significantly increased demand we have been experiencing. Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes.

Our Education Programmes are focused on engaging primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to take part in our programmes and ensure LGBT+ young people can thrive. Just Like Us has already worked with thousands of schools and gained recognition for our Growing up LGBT+ report (2020) and our Positive Futures report (2023). The key responsibilities of this Purchase Ledger Officer include:

You’ll be super organised, fantastic at relationship building, enjoy creating processes, and have great customer care and communication skills. You'll work closely with our supporters, volunteers, local groups and our wider fundraising team.

You’ll be from a supporter or customer care background.

And ideally be able to demonstrate some understanding of community and events fundraising, supporter journey development, and extensive use of customer relationship databases.

The Mulberry Centre’s vision is to be known and respected by everyone living or working within reach of our services who may become affected by cancer.All the services at The Mulberry Centre are geared towards supporting the physical and emotional needs of someone following a cancer diagnosis or at end of life, including their carers, families and friends who also might have to stop working to look after them. It can be difficult to know where to start and what you are entitled to, but we are here to help them every step of the way. To assist us in this endeavour, we are looking for an experienced full-time Welfare and Benefits Information Lead.  You will assist clients in claiming welfare benefits, grants, and any financial aid that may be available to them. This includes informing them of any financial help available, supporting them with applications and following up on claim as necessary.  Where anyone has been given an end of life diagnosis you will be required to start the application on their behalf. In addition, you will also conduct financial wellbeing assessments in the community and schedule one-on-one application completion consultations with individuals who request your assistance.

This vital role will suit an enthusiastic and dynamic person who has excellent communication skills, being able to deal with complex matters effectively both verbally and in writing.  You will need to understand the issues involved in interviewing people within a time defined period. The ideal applicant will have emotional resilience to deal with people who have experienced cancer or bereavement. An empathetic and compassionate approach is important.  The Welfare Benefits Information Lead will be at the forefront of our client-based services and need to be self-motivated and have a positive and flexible attitude.

Join our great team at Carer Support West Cumbria delivering support to unpaid carers of all ages, helping them carry out their caring role and maintain their own wellbeing by providing a flexible and varied programme of services that meet individual needs along their caring journey.

We are recruiting an Operations Manager who will manage the volunteer, benefits support and data and communications projects as well as identifying and developing new service initiatives and projects. The post holder will also develop and implement a performance framework ensuring collection and interpretation of data from all sources, benchmarking, monitoring and evaluation to identify areas of improvement throughout the organisation.
