About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone with strong finance and administrative skills. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Office Manager, you will support the organisation by:

· Processing donations, direct debits, Gift Aid claims, invoices and payment runs

· Maintaining accurate records using QuickBooks and Raiser’s Edge

· Supporting governance and operations: scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes

· Managing office logistics: post, supplies, facilities

· Providing administrative support across finance and operations

You’ll play a key role in the smooth running of USPG’s finance and administrative functions, with opportunities to learn and contribute to an organisation with global impact.

About You

You will have at least three years’ experience in finance or administrative role, with strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will be confident working with numbers and have good written English and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential, and experience with finance systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero would be highly beneficial.

Ideally, you will have experience working in the charity or not-for-profit sector, and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems like Raiser’s Edge would be an advantage. You should be comfortable working with people from diverse cultural and national backgrounds, and able to manage your workload effectively as part of a supportive team. A genuine interest in the work of USPG and alignment with our Christian ethos is essential for this role.

Digital Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a creative, data-driven and results orientated Digital Fundraising Officer to help us grow our income and supporter base through engaging and innovative digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate fundraising team, playing a vital role in delivering digital-first fundraising activity and supporter engagement across multiple digital channels. The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, communications and digital teams. They will also work closely with the Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to support with planning, implementing, optimising and reporting on World Horse Welfare’s digital fundraising and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering successful digital campaigns within a fundraising or non-profit context, with strong skills in delivering and optimising paid social campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta and TikTok. They should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio and SEO platforms. The candidate must be highly organised, proactive, data-driven, a good collaborator, with the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy the creative side of digital fundraising, with a passion for creating compelling content for the various digital campaigns.

This position is based remotely, although you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation. About the role

As a Senior CRM and Data Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting staff across NCVO in making the most of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This role will play a key part in supporting the recruitment of new supporters to the Charity through a range of direct marketing channels and propositions. The post-holder will provide vital administrative support, help deliver campaigns, ensure excellent supporter care, and play an important role in front-of-house operations at both our Chelsea and Sutton offices.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering first-class supporter care to new donors, helping ensure a positive and lasting first impression.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of supporter acquisition campaigns, including proofreading, briefing materials, and coordinating timelines.
• Helping with campaign reporting, KPI tracking, and budget administration.
• Providing regular front-of-house support including managing supporter queries by phone, email, and in person at Chelsea and Sutton.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure seamless donor journeys and data accuracy.

Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Programme Development Officer:

• This role will focus on supporting the implementation of the community fundraising programmes, working with colleagues across the Community and Events teams to develop consistent, efficient and effective ways of working.
• The post holder will work collaboratively with the Community Fundraising Programme Implementation Manager and National Community Fundraising Manager as well as colleagues from our Finance and Operations teams to project manage and deliver defined short-term projects to improve operational and financial management and support the implementation of the new National Community Hubs and wider Community & Events strategy.

About the Community & Events team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• The National Community Fundraising team at Cats Protection has recently gone through transformative change, implementing a new community hub structure in six regions across the UK. Leading and enabling community led fundraising in their area, they raise circa £3.5million income per year, making a significant contribution to Cats Protection’s work to make life better for cats.

What we’re looking for in our Community Fundraising Programme Development Officer:

• Evidence of project management experience, including planning, organising and delivering projects from inception to completion within time and budget
• Experience of process improvement and reporting
• Strong organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines and work to targets and good project management skills
• Good working knowledge of transaction/contact database (preferably CARE NG and/or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Knowledge or understanding of Finance systems and processes

Role Purpose

Our Communications Officer will help raise awareness of our work with our national partners and stakeholders. Working closely with the wider communications team, you’ll play a key role identifying opportunities to inform and engage our audiences through a range of communications, both digital and offline. You’ll have a strong eye for a compelling story to help demonstrate our impact and inspire collaboration from our partners, and you’ll know how to share these in the most effective ways to generate engagement.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, pulling together work from across the organisation and our programmes into a clear plan to share with our national stakeholders. This will require a highly organised approach, a strong eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Role Description

• Working with the senior communications manager, regional communications coordinators and fundraising team, implement a national content strategy and identify opportunities to share our work, including events and activities, in line with Thrive at Five’s communications aims and objectives
• Plan, write and edit a range of copy, both on and offline, including case studies, newsletters, blogs, infographics, films / video and promotional documents
• Produce content for Thrive at Five’s national LinkedIn channel, including videos, images and text, to support our overarching communications strategy and objectives  
• Analyse national and regional content performance across all channels and explore opportunities to drive audience engagement and growth, ensuring all online copy adheres to SEO best practice 
• Keep the Thrive at Five website up to date, writing and uploading regular news posts and blogs from across our programmes and activities 
• Support the senior communications manager to monitor and identify relevant opportunities for Thrive at Five to react to news, participate in online discussions and share insights to strengthen the brand’s authority 
• Work with the senior communications manager to review and update Thrive at Five’s brand guidelines, rolling out across the organisation and ensuring colleagues understand and can confidently apply them 
• Support the communications team with CRM and stakeholder management 
• Supporting wider communications activities as needed, particularly during busy periods

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a related communications role, including copywriting and content creation
• Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, including long-form content
• Experience delivering and reporting on content strategies
• Experience producing high-quality, clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate content for a range of platforms
• Experience working with and editing websites and CMS
• Ability to work as part of a team and build excellent working relationships internally and externally
• Strong organisational and project management skills with an eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships
• High levels of empathy, passion, and care for those in our community.

Desirable
