The award-winning ISM is the dynamic, change making professional membership body for musicians. With a current membership of over 11,000, the ISM is known for its campaigning work as well as services to musicians ranging from legal support and representation to counselling and professional development.

The ISM is now looking for an Assistant to the SLT who will carry out a broad range of duties, from working with the CEO on external affairs and diary management through to being involved in all aspects of Board meetings and looking after the ISM’s offices. You will be comfortable working at a senior level liaising with a wide range of people from Board members to politicians and have excellent interpersonal skills and great attention to detail. You will be proactive, a great problem solver, trustworthy and committed. 

You will be joining a professional staff team who are based in Bayswater, London. The role is for 28 hours per week and we envisage that you will work four days per week, three of which will be in the office.

Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire and Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including their friends and family members. Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.

Working in support of the Office & Facilities Manager, you will ensure the implementation of the organisation’s health and safety procedures on daily basis and contribute more generally to the management and maintenance tasks of the Hub and the broader Crane Grove estate.

Overview

The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) has embarked on a new exciting five-year strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive 2023-2028’. To help us on this journey, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Trust’s Company Administrator, a key role within our organisation. You will be able to think on your feet and be confident to work autonomously.

Role of the Company Administrator

The Administrator will be responsible for the key administration functions of the Trust; planning, directing, managing, and coordinating all operational functions including the office management, day to day finance records, events support and site maintenance.

1. Overall

1.1 To be part of the inspiring work of the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, supporting the wider team and often being the first line of contact to visitors and partners in person, online and via telephone.

1.2 Manage the provision of office services including the management of day to day finance and payments, staff rotas, stationary orders, supporting events and bookings and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

1.3 Organising the day-to-day maintenance of the Heritage Centre and the displays at the National Spinal Injuries Centre.

Main Duties

1.4 The management of office systems, operating practices, record keeping, policies and budget monitoring systems including supporting returns to funders, monthly invoicing records and payments.

1.5 Administration of training, Heritage Centre bookings, events and meetings, including organising catering when relevant.

1.6 Management of general correspondence, answering phone calls, managing the admin mailbox and processing post.

1.7 Oversight and coordination of environmental action plans.

1.8 Drafting, formatting, and printing of relevant documents for meetings as required.

1.9 Maintaining stock lists and ordering of office supplies as needed.

1.10 Coordinate agendas and take meeting notes for the Board of Trustees and the Finance and Development Committee.

1.11 Management of purchase orders and invoicing.

1.12 Photocopying and filing of appropriate documents as needed.

1.13 Maintaining databases, and the google drive.

1.14 Support processing of DBS checks for staff and volunteers as directed by the wider team.

1.15 Other

· To support communications, digital content and evaluation consultants.

· To support the commercial programme of work.

· Other project work as arises.

· To assist work placement trainees in areas where they require admin support.

2. Meetings and reporting

2.1 The Administrator will be employed by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust and be responsible to the Board of Trustees.

2.2 The Administrator will report to and be supported by the Head of Programmes.

2.3 The Administrator will have monthly meetings with the Head of Programmes, reporting on progress and raising any areas of concern.

3. Period of Contract

3.1 Permanent.

4.1 The proposed fee is £25,000 a year Pro rata 3 days a week (24 hours).

4.2 In addition to the payment outlined above the Administrator will be paid reasonable agreed expenses incurred subject to the supply of receipts/travel expense claim and a stakeholder pension.

Insurance is covered by the NPHT.

These are newly created administrative roles to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in nearly 1,200 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. The organisation has an important role to Value, Care for and Protect general practice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Primary Care team which supports committee effectiveness and ensures representation within Local Medical Committees within London. The post holder will report to the Director of Primary Care, working across local committees within the Primary Care team.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to Local Medical Committees, enabling the smooth running of Committee meetings. The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is a charity that represents the voice of people living with dyslexia. We aim to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.

The MARAC Administrator will support the MARAC Coordinator in the administering the MARAC process.  The post holder will be co-located in Brent and will be required to attend MARAC meetings in various locations as required. There will also be a requirement to attend Advance’s Headoffice

The MARAC Administrator will process MARAC referrals and flag to the MARAC Coordinator any referrals that have insufficient information or may not meet the MARAC threshold.  The post holder will also compile the MARAC At Risk List for approval by the MARAC Coordinator, including case details of survivors and perpetrators who will be discussed at the MARAC. 

About You:

To be successful as the MARAC Administrator you will need the below experience and skills:

An understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.

Experience of office management and administration roles and experience of maintaining data systems and producing regular monitoring reports

Accurate and methodical approach to dealing with data processing, filing systems, facts and figures

Excellent literary and administrative skills including ability in information technology, data collection and in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Good interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to be flexible, working as a team or independently as required to support the service and colleagues

About CleanupUK  

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. Litter-picking brings people closer together, enables neighbours to meet one another other and helps create a greater sense of pride and community in local areas.

Historically, we have delivered litter-picking focussed community engagement projects in London and Birmingham. Our current focus is developing partnerships with community organisations across England to expand our reach and increase impact.

Main duties of the role 

• To provide a pro-active, high-quality administration and support service to the Operational Team, Chief Executive and the Corporate Partnerships team. 

Operational Team: Deals with logistics, processes and day to day functions of our work on the ground with community partners and volunteers.

Fauna & Flora’s Eurasia programme is seeking a Programme Administrator to undertake a key supporting role within the programme; working closely with the Programme Finance Officer to deliver administrative, information management and office support to the Eurasia team and its projects, helping ensure compliance with internal systems, policies and procedures and donor requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills and previous experience in a similar role (including use of Microsoft Office). They will be highly organised, methodical in their approach to work and have meticulous attention to detail. They will be a strong team player and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment where problem solving and the ability to respond swiftly to changing organisational and team needs is paramount. This position will be based from our Cardiff Office (agile working agreement in place). 

Main Purpose: To support the efficiency of the National and Regional Offices through the provision of an efficient and effective translation and administration service including marketing and communications.The successful candidate will need two years of translation experience and an eye for detail with creative skills to support our marketing and social media.

1. To translate all of the organisation’s letters, documents, newsletters, social media copy and publications into Welsh, or into English as appropriate 
2. To assist in the content/ maintenance of the company and project websites, social media and marketing. 
3. To accurately input and create reports of impact data including work completed by Childcare Business Development Officers and Training Officers, using computer programmes including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access as well as online portfolios and portals 
4. To contribute to the overall efficiency of the office, providing administrative skills for the office.
5. To assist in the organisation of meetings and events, and taking and distributing accurate minutes of meetings as required. 

Core Skills & Experience 

Essential ·

• Ability to speak and write in both English and Welsh 
• Translation experience or relevant qualification with the ability to translate from English to Welsh and vice versa 
• Administration and marketing experience
• Excellent computer literacy skills – in using Microsoft applications such as MS Word, Access, Excel and Outlook, MS SharePoint and Teams and Zoom.  Experience in using a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), and updating websites and social media sites would be an advantage
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
