As Head of Membership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CFG’s charity and corporate membership recruitment and retention strategy. You will have a ‘digital first’ mindset, and can ensure data, systems and processes are developed to meet organisational goals. 

We are seeking someone who is a membership expert, has proven business development skills, is comfortable with attaining large financial and commercial targets, is hands-on, and is able to analyse data and draw insights from macro and microenvironments, in order to build a strong engagement and retention strategy.  You are able to strike a superb balance between commercial acumen and member service provision, so that our offerings are tailored, sustainable and effective.  

A natural leader, you will guide the charity membership and corporate member teams and share expertise and knowledge with colleagues across the organisation. You will be a people person, a strong networker comfortable addressing members at events, and have the ability to influence, negotiate and be at ease liaising with senior executives and Board of Trustees.

The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Our presence extends to work with community schools and academy trusts, as well as higher and further education through numerous chaplaincies, providing spiritual support and guidance to children and young people, and to adults.

The Church of England's Vision and Strategy for the 2020s has three priorities, one of which is to be a church which is younger and more diverse. How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).

Position: S11320 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Newham. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week

Salary: Circa £14,100 - per annum (FTE circa £27,435 per annum) (inner London weighting £2,031.42 per annum or outer London weighting £1,170 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

We are  looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Newham Team in London. Reporting to Service Delivery Coach.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.
• Ensure that timely, confidential and accurate records are kept on our CRM data base and all data is in line with our retention policy and GDPR compliant.
• Develop and manage service volunteers to support service delivery for stroke survivors and carers as required.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Providing person centred support to empower vulnerable people or people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers
• Nurturing emotional resilience needed to handle a variety of calls, potentially dealing with complex and challenging situations whilst working in your own home
• Effective listening with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse audience including anyone experiencing communication difficulties via a combination of face-to-face visits or meetings, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls)

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

The Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.

Significant opportunity

We have a significant opportunity to put the tools into the hands of those working with Children, Young People and Families that will better equip them to see young lives transformed.

Working Patterns

The role is remote with some travel to our Head Office at Trinity House Milton Keynes to collaborate face to face with the rest of the team.
