You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent influencing skills with donors, colleagues, and partners. About the role

FLEX is looking for a passionate advocate with a good understanding of the UK political system, of labour abuse and/or exploitation and human trafficking in the UK, and demonstrable experience of coalition working and building relationships with key stakeholders working in the anti-trafficking, employment rights, and/or immigration sectors. This recruitment comes at an exciting and challenging time for our work at the intersection of employment rights and immigration policy. This role will inform and support our work to influence and improve law, policy and practice affecting worker in high-risk sectors in the UK.

We are seeking a Governance Support officer

The Church of England is continually striving to improve its safeguarding practices. The 2020 report by IICSA on the Church highlighted failures in respect of child sexual abuse and, more broadly, the challenges facing the Church to get safeguarding right.

The Church is a complex collection of different bodies. Most of the safeguarding work is carried out locally within the 42 dioceses and cathedrals in England. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support NSP meetings and events, including agenda-setting, minutes, and follow-up actions.

The Britain Palestine Project (BPP) is seeking a highly organised, motivated, and values-driven individual to join our small, dynamic team as a Fundraising and Administrative Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting BPP’s fundraising and operational systems. You will manage core administrative functions, maintain donor databases and financial records, support the Board of Trustees, assist with international fundraising trips, and help build strong relationships with our growing network of supporters and donors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update CRM systems (Salesforce) and financial records (Xero).
• Provide administrative support to the Board and working groups, including scheduling and minute-taking.
• Support donor communications including donor pitching presentations (PowerPoint), Gift Aid administration, and donor stewardship.
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising trips to the Middle East and manage follow-up actions.
• Assist in drafting supporter emails, organising events and webinars, and managing digital content.

Business Development Officer £32,000 per annum (pro-rata) plus London Weighting if successful candidate is located in London

The successful candidate will grow 1MM’s community of employers and volunteer mentors and will support the CCO with growing the corporate income stream.

1MM Business Development Officer main tasks include: 

• Developing, own and executing 1MM’s employer and mentor recruitment strategy 

• Researching and identifying new employer and mentor opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, partnerships, or new ways of reaching mentors. 

• Sourcing enough new mentors (on top of 1MM’s existing base) to ensure 1MM has an oversupply (c.15% higher than demand) of fully trained, location relevant mentors available. This year the target is 1600 mentors and will double per year for the next two years. 

• Building a sustainable growth engine that ensures the pipeline of mentors remains sufficient on an ongoing basis through employer, professional and community networks. 

• Generating leads and cold call prospective employer and mentor partners. Tracking and updating all relationships on Salesforce. 

• Fostering and developing relationships with partners and sponsors so that you can generate repeat mentors as well as finding new opportunities 

• Working closely with 1MM colleagues to handover the mentor relationships to the right people across departments. 

• Supporting the CCO to grow 1MM’s corporate income stream by doing market research and mapping employers who support CSR, ESG, Diversity and Community Engagement strategies.

• Presenting with CCO to potential employer partners, hosting stalls at employer conferences and engaging staff networks. 

• Working with the Social Media and Marketing Executive to identify marketing campaigns and collateral in order to attract and recruit mentors. 

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs. 

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role. 

Person Competencies

Who we're looking for 

Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. We are looking for an experienced IDVA to join our dynamic team in Tower Hamlets, working with people who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

As an IDVA you are responsible for carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing support and intervention to victim/survivors of domestic violence identified at Poplar jobcentre. In addition to this you will build relationships with, and provide advice, guidance and training to external professionals.

About You

You will need a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.

You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in an IDVA or similar position with this or a similar client group.

The Organisation

The Role

As a Legal Advisor, you will provide legal support on a wide range of property-related matters across The Royal Parks estate. We have a number of residential and commercial properties that are under licence to third-parties, many of whom in the commercial forum are charities and entities that support The Royal Parks’ objectives, as well as licences for sports grounds, car parks and other properties on Crown land.

Working closely with our Principal Legal Advisor Estates and the Estates and Parks Teams, you will ensure our properties are managed in line with our charitable obligations.

On a day-to-day basis, your work will span the creation, review and negotiation of licences for commercial and residential properties, whilst assisting the Estates and Parks Teams in the management of the estate from a legal perspective.

Your licensing work will also involve works licences within the Parks and in relation to adjoining land where in order to carry out the works access to the Parks is required with resultant retention licences for example, where utility pipes ducts and cables are retained or encroachment licences where there are encroachments from adjoining properties, on under or over the Parks. You will also deal with freebord licences for garden use in connection with adjoining land.

About You
