As the Arts Administrator you will be an important part of the team, working across the curatorial and engagement programmes to provide essential support in all aspects of our 
work.

You will assist in the day-to-day running of the Staff Arts Club, providing support in areas of communications and event management, as well as manage our general enquiries inbox 
ensuring emails related to project proposals, events and artwork donations are answered promptly. 

You will work closely with the Curator and Assistant Curator to help deliver the visual arts programme, contributing to database management, cataloguing and carrying out essential collections care tasks. You will also provide targeted support for key projects including the ongoing inventory of the collection and, where required, support art installations across our sites.

This role is well suited for someone at the start of their career with an interest in arts management of both visual and performing arts.

About the role

We are looking for a data engineer with experience of developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to move data between enterprise applications. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for developing ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse, linking from a variety of data sources to various targets on-prem, in cloud platforms and in Azure.

We’ll also rely on you to ensure business requirements for new data feeds or changes are understood and translated into efficient and effective technical solutions. You will transform and centralise raw data from multiple platforms into user friendly reporting data, as well as explore new ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data management across Shelter.

Writing, validating and executing test plans, troubleshooting performance issues and supporting Shelter’s wider data management initiatives – all are aspects of this interesting and varied role.

 We are looking for an organised, proactive and creative Events and engagement manager to join our team on a 12 month part time 0.8 FTE contract.

You will lead our core events programme. You will manage in-person and online events, liaise with speakers and attendees, prepare briefings and promotional materials, ensuring all events are delivered efficiently, on budget and in line with our environmental standards.

You will also manage internal staff events, monitor and evaluate event outcomes and manage our contacts database, maintaining accuracy and GDPR compliance. This is a varied role requiring strong organisational, logistical and administrative skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Position in the Organisation

The post holder reports to the head of communications and works in consultation with senior management and the policy and politics team on event planning. The position sits within the communications team, comprised of the head of communications, press officer, two communications officers and the events assistant. They rely on additional support from the events assistant and our team of trainees in preparing events, as well as the full staff team, who represent us at events.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Events management:

- Manage and curate Green Alliance core events programme, assist staff as required on their specialist events and be the first point of contact for all event enquiries.

- Target relevant audiences and manage invitee and attendee lists, liaise with speakers and produce briefings and promotional material as necessary.

- Liaise with venues, arranging catering and other event services within budget.

- Oversee all the technical and logistical tasks relating to online events, including generating links and managing reminders, hosting Zoom webinars, welcoming and briefing participants, troubleshooting throughout events, and editing and uploading recordings to YouTube.

- Monitor and evaluate event outcomes in line with organisational and project objectives; gather information and feedback the analysis to staff and board, including invitation uptake and audience profiling.

- Ensure events meet Green Alliance’s environmental criteria and are organised according to best value principles.

- Manage events on the day, including directing staff roles in advance of and during the event, and oversee all technical aspects of online webinars, roundtable discussions and seminars.

- Organise internal staff events with the events assistant, including the Christmas party, strategy away days and other internal learning events, such as our lunchtime seminar series.

Database management:

- Manage the contacts database, ensuring it is up to date and accurate.

- Support staff on how to use the database and maintain protocols to ensure ongoing data integrity.

- Keep abreast of GDPR in relation to events and database management.

Other:

- Line manage the events assistant.

- Hold a company credit card.

- Provide any other support which may reasonably be requested to be undertaken within the scope of this post.

- Participate in organisation planning and strategy discussions.

- Due to the nature of the role the post holder will be required to work some early mornings and evenings for time off in lieu.

Scope of role

The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Lead on management accounts for the property maintenance service, working closely with operational teams to provide insight, support decision-making, and drive financial accountability
• Deliver monthly management reports with meaningful analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, and monitor labour cost performance
• Maintain the integrity of key balance sheet items, and ensure timely, accurate regulatory returns related to subcontractor payments
• Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting tools, and act as a finance systems expert to maximise data accuracy and business value

Main Purpose of Job

The Youth and Employability Senior Manager will oversee the successful delivery, development, and sustainability of the youth and employability department. Ensuring activities and programmes are impactful, high quality and accessible. The Selection Criteria Essential

Fowler’s Syndrome UK (FSUK) is the only charity in the world dedicated to women (and afab) with Fowler’s Syndrome or Chronic Idiopathic Urinary Retention; a life-changing and poorly understood bladder condition that causes full or partial urinary retention.

The CEO is excited to welcome a proactive, purpose-driven, and resourceful Communications and Engagement Lead to join their small and purposeful team and support the next phase in their journey.

In this multi-faceted role, you will ensure that women affected by Fowler’s Syndrome, clinicians, researchers, and the wider public are intimately connected to the charity’s work.You will enable smoother pathways for women seeking support and for healthcare professionals looking to access educational resource, while also leading on a range of communications activities and awareness campaigns.

You will take responsibility for coordinating and facilitating online patient groups, supporting in-person events, and helping to manage FSUK’s Patient Council. Tasked with overseeing the development of content such as patient resources, you will also advance wider engagement across projects and research programmes and ensure that communications, whether via newsletters, social channels, or the website, reflect the charity’s voice and values.

While having strategic oversight and leading on the management of FSUK’s digital platforms, including their WordPress website and database consisting of patients and supporters, you will also maintain the charity’s fundraising pages. Through managing FSUK’s social platforms, you will at times also interact with the charity’s online community, responding with empathy as you engage and signpost to appropriate services such as the FSUK helpline, ensuring people feel heard, informed, and supported.

Lastly, raising awareness of FSUK will be one strand of the communications output, however the primary focus is to enable stronger connections and deepen engagement and trust with their valued community.

Emotional intelligence and well defined interpersonal skills are essential, as well as having proficient organisational ability and the aptitude to multi-task when working independently within this small, yet fast-moving team.

A background in patient, community, or stakeholder engagement will also be a valuable asset, alongside exposure to working within the health, charity, or research sector. You will have demonstrable experience producing content, alongside a track record of managing digital and social platforms (particularly Instagram).

Kempton Steam Museum, operated by Kempton Great Engines Trust, is home to the world’s largest operational triple-expansion steam engine, which supplied water to much of London until 1980. Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life – reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we aim to transform Kempton Steam Museum’s engagement with visitors and the local community, while enhancing support for volunteers and care of collections.

The part-time Curatorial Officer will be responsible for the museum’s curatorial activities, with a specific focus on achieving the required collection management standards for Museum Accreditation with the Arts Council by August 2026. This will include developing curatorial policies following Spectrum guidelines. There will also be opportunities to develop interpretive materials to enhance visitor understanding and appreciation of the triple expansion engines and our collections, to foster relationships with local communities and to provide training and support to volunteers on collections management and interpretation.
