The Children’s Trust is the largest paediatric inpatient provider of tertiary (level 1) specialised neurorehabilitation for children and young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). As a Post-CCT Fellow, you will be a key member of the Medical Team, providing clinical care for children and young people who are admitted to The Children’s Trust for specialised neurorehabilitation.

You will receive support from Consultants in Paediatric Neurodisability, Consultant Paediatrician, and Associate Specialist in Neurodisability.

Working hours are 9am - 5pm daily, with no obligatory Out of Hours cover. 

Role Requirements

To succeed in this high profile and diverse role, you must demonstrate:

• Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice and an MBBS or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in Paediatrics and previous experience/training in Neurodisability or Neurology.
• Strong clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family focussed interpersonal skills.
• A caring, supportive and can-do approach.

Job Summary

WorkWell is an exciting new government/DWP initiative to get people back to work. As well as providing work placement support, it will also address and support any physical or mental health needs via a Mental Health Provider and Physical Health Advisor who form part of the team. The pilot in Surrey went live in December and aims to empower people to take control of their health, wellbeing and any impacts this is having on their employment via referral to a WorkWell Coach. That’s where you come in.

Working as a key part of the primary care network (PCN) and other community hubs, your challenge will be to provide a supportive environment that enables each individual to identify their health and wellbeing concerns and the impact these are having on their employment. That will involve taking a strengths-based approach, focusing on ‘what matters to me’ and, together with the individual, producing a personalised and holistic support plan that aims to help the individual thrive at work. We’ll also rely on you to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of physical activity, mental health and skills and employment advisors to provide direct interventions and connect individuals to diverse community-based support, thus ensuring they are able to maintain their health, wellbeing and employment in the longer term.

To succeed, you’ll need a good understanding of motivational coaching and interview skills, the ability to organise, plan and prioritise and a real commitment to develop. About the role:

Respect is seeking two Helplines Advisors to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.

You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.

• An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims

Salary: Point 31-34 £34,016 - £36754  (a London Allowance of £3299 will be applied to employees who live in London)

We are pleased to offer a starting salary at the beginning point of the salary band. This position offers opportunities for salary increases based on performance and tenure. 

Hours: 35 Hours per week; Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Job type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026, with a possibility to extend, subject to funding. Please note that there are two full time positions available for this post.

About the role:

Respect is seeking two Helplines Advisors to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.

You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.

About you:

• An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
• An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse 
• An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships 
• Experience of providing information, advice, and support by telephone, email and webchat in a helpline environment 
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

Parentsactive CIC is the parent/carer forum for Hammersmith and Fulham and works to empower parent/carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from birth through to adults.

We are delighted to be recruiting a Co-production Coordinator to work alongside our parents and carers of young disabled adults to ensure they have meaningful opportunities to inform and influence strategic and operational developments across Hammersmith and Fulham that will lead to a better future for them and their young person.

The Co-production Coordinator will support the coordination of a range of activities designed to increase coproduction across the borough’s health, education and social care systems.

The successful candidate will be passionate about coproduction and ensuring the voice of people with lived experience is heard. They will have strong skills in working collaboratively with a wide range of people including families, statutory and third sector partners. The person will be a good listener, compassionate and understanding of the issues related to supporting a disabled adult to live their best life and have the confidence to challenge when necessary.

React is a small, well regarded, charity that was established in 1989.  It provides Rapid Effective Assistance to Children with Potentially Terminal illness.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. 

We supply essential equipment that is not available through the NHS or local authority, from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids to essential everyday homecare items like pushchairs and domestic appliances.

We also provide our families with holidays and the opportunity to create special memories at our mobile homes situated across the UK. 

Since the pandemic we have moved to a fully remote / home based working model.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.

You will be responsible for:

• · Leading income generation for the charity.

Location  

Although home based, the Head of Development & Partnerships will be expected to meet from time to time with major fundraisers and donors, which may occur in person or online.
