THE ROLE 

 Due to the retirement of a long-standing executive team member, this newly repurposed Executive Leadership role has a clear focus on our long-term financial sustainability and mission impact. As Executive Director of Fundraising Development, you will lead our strategic partnerships, philanthropy, and major income generation programmes. 

 You’ll be responsible for inspiring significant financial support through trusts, major donors, corporates, legacies, and philanthropic networks. Working closely with the CEO and fellow Executive Directors, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our Strategy to 2030 - ensuring we have the income, influence, and innovation to match our ambition.

The Early Intervention and Prevention service is based at one of our children’s Centre in Wythenshawe, Manchester, this service is working in partnership with the City of Manchester Local Authority. Successful candidates will work across North, Central and South Manchester.

The Purpose of the service is to establish a local integrated offer of intensive, therapeutic overnight stays and outreach support.   Focused upon building the capability and resilience of families so the child/young person can experience greater permanency of care with their families, foster care, or benefit from the range of services available to them in their community. 

The Service will focus on improving the outcomes for Children and Young people on the Autistic Spectrum, and other learning disabilities with the aim of reducing the number of children referred for residential care.

The service is designed to promote the following outcomes for children/young people:-

• To stabilise behaviours that may be a barrier to inclusion 
• To improve quality of life outcomes
• To have the opportunity of participating and experiencing a range of activities
• To improve the resilience of their families and parents/ carers

 As a specialist service there is a comprehensive package of training and support either internally within the Trust's Learning & Development Team or externally with our professional partners Manchester Local Authority, IST and CAMHS.

As a Senior Community Support Worker (Positive Behaviour Support) you will provide first line management to a team of Community Support Workers (Positive Behaviour Support), developing their capability through demonstrating the right values and behaviours, mentoring staff, and supporting their ongoing development.

The aim of the Early Intervention and Prevention Service is to work with families that may be struggling with managing the behaviour of one or more of their children, you will work alongside the family and multi agencies to deliver a high standard of care and support.

You will have the opportunity to receive formal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training and coaching from qualified behavioural specialists within the Together Trust.

Senior support staff will work alongside management to ensure the service meets Ofsted children’s home regulations and works in line with current legislation.

This service will develop to offer respite care to the families and young people that we support and from the Manchester City Council Local Authority Area. This service will be a dual registered OFSTED and CQC service.

What's the role about?

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Qualified accountant, with at least 5 years post qualified experience.

• Excellent knowledge of financial standards ,UK GAAP (FRS102), IFRS.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, able to develop team members for high performance and build a positive culture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present, influence and represent the functional specialism at all levels
• Collaboration skills to build partnerships, navigate politics and manage conflicts
• Business management skills to understand strategy, business functions and decision-making

The Senior IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. Along with regular case work, this role requires confident use of Modus in order to coordinate and ensure the quality of Duty, as well as the ability to work to policies and procedures and be able to prioritise effectively.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector and in working with women with children. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis.

Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision. You will be adept at juggling front line work and management responsibilities, with an ability to prioritise, work collaboratively and demonstrate innovation in time management and service delivery methods.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach with schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). Flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

• Over 10 years of work experience, including significant experience in East Africa, particularly in scaling up entrepreneurial enterprises, or leading initiatives and teams in a major corporate or financial institution

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered  in 2018. We now have a series of multi-year grants in place ensuring that 42% of our income for 2026 is already secured. But we are ambitious. We want to do more for our community, so we are looking for a new, dynamic Head of Fundraising and Development to lead and deliver income generation as we scale our work in the UK and globally.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a fundraising strategy and plan across all major income streams—trusts and foundations, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and major donors. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a key time of year helping to raise vital funds throughout our Autumn and Winter period for people who are homeless or badly housed.

About the role

As a seasonal order picker, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently on time during our busiest period. It will involve working as part of a small team, being responsible for picking and packing products, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting with the smooth flow of goods in and out of the operation.

The role will be fast paced working to accurately pick, pack and process customer orders in line with SLAs. It will involve working collaboratively with team members to meet targets and communicating any issues to the Order Picker Supervisor.

About you

To be successful in the role you will need to be comfortable working at a fast pace and ensuring to maintain a high level of accuracy in a dead-line driven environment. Also making sure to have strong attention to detail to make sure the orders are picked and packed correctly.

Being able to work well as part of a team is important to contribute towards a positive and efficient working environment and be confident to use basic IT systems and handheld devices to update stock and order records.

About the role

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who has experience in Complex Mental Health and Substance Misuse to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will use your skills and knowledge to support residents with mental health challenges, complex needs, and will provide specialist occupational therapy as part of their recovery. This is a great opportunity to shape your own role, alongside a team of Positive Engagement Workers, a Dual Diagnosis Worker, and Clinical Psychologist, whilst working closely with the Group Psychological Lead and other external partnerships. You will receive regular supervisions and have time with an external Occupational Therapist. 

You will:

• Deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills
• Be proactive with planning and delivering meaningful activities; this includes one to one and group sessions
• Work closely with clinical teams to meet people where they are, assess their situation, and write recommendations and signposting accordingly
• Assess their current situation through holistic assessments and put plans in place for them to overcome their personal barriers, to enable them for independent living and stability
• Provide psychologically informed interventions in a person-centred approach, flexibly to the resident needs
• Complete various assessments from function to task related to help empower enhanced community and personal engagement
• Set SMART goals in a collaborative way with residents, taking into account all information present from various team members and partner agencies.  

About you

We’re looking for a passionate, driven and qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC who has experience working with people that have multiple complex needs. You’ll be confident applying theory to the practical working environment. We use a trauma informed, non judgmental approach, so it’s important that you can work well with others, fit into the team, and build trusting relationships. You will be able to apply your knowledge of relevant guidance and protocols to the working environment. You will have a background in a similar role, able to provide specialist support to our residents who struggle with their mental health and substance use.

What we look for:

• Ability to provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment for residents/participants.
• Willingness to work in adherence to Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Consultation Observation Tool (COT) and other practice guidelines.
• Ability to identify activity needs and wishes through various approaches such as assessments, observations, and discussions then use these to implement plans of action.
• Ability to recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
• Supporting residents/participants with the relevant life skills, knowledge, and resources to support their journey to achieve independence and their desired goals.
• Ability to develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and group engagement activities.
