About the role
We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.
The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.
The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.
Please note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. Investigation work takes place Monday to Friday within working hours. This position is not suitable for applicants who already work or have commitments more than two days within the working week.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This role is a comprehensive HR Business Partner position responsible for aligning HR strategy with the operational and strategic goals of Hestia. The postholder will work closely with designated client groups to support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE processes, and the implementation of new services. A key aspect of the role is coaching and supporting line managers to lead inclusively and in alignment with the organisation's values, as well as helping embed learning and development initiatives across teams. The role also champions Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), wellbeing, and reward and benefits.
The role involves providing expert HR guidance on employee relations and employment law, particularly in complex or sensitive cases. This includes managing issues such as conduct, performance, absence, griev
ances, and whistleblowing. As a member of the Resolution Hub, the HR Business Partner also leads mediation and conflict resolution efforts. The role ensures that HR practices are legally compliant and reflective of Hestia's values, collaborating with other departments to continually improve and align the people strategy.
In addition, the postholder oversees wellbeing and benefits initiatives, maintaining internal platforms and working with third-party providers. They use data to monitor engagement and uptake, guiding improvements and equipping managers with the tools to support staff effectively. The role also includes project management responsibilities, such as vendor transitions and scheme enhancements, to strengthen Hestia's overall employee value proposition.
The HR Business Partner will also take a lead in business change processes, ensuring due diligence during TUPE and structural changes, while facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for staff. Externally, they may represent the organisation as the main HR contact. Data analysis and reporting are essential, with the postholder tracking key HR metrics and contributing to both internal and external reports, such as those for the Charity Commission.
Finally, the role involves supporting broader HR functions, including recruitment and HR operations, as well as chairing and coordinating team meetings. There is a strong emphasis on contributing to and leading EDI and anti-racism strategies, supporting internal network groups, and collaborating with Hestia's recognised trade union, Unison. This is a dynamic and impactful role that requires strategic insight, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, values-led approach to HR.

Here's what the team will be looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will bring substantial experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally gained in a fast-paced, change-driven environment. They will have led on key people-focused areas such as wellbeing, reward, and benefits, and possess a strong background in managing complex HR issues. With at least 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or as an HR Manager, they will be adept at supporting organisational change and driving strategic people initiatives.
They will be fully CIPD qualified, preferably to Level 7, and demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment law. Their experience will include leading TUPE transfers, managing restructures, and handling redundancy and consultation processes. The role requires someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who can build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders while offering challenge and support when necessary.
Attention to detail, strong numeracy, and excellent written English are all essential. The candidate will also need to be IT literate and comfortable working with data. A sound understanding of safeguarding is required, and prior
experience working in the charity or public sector would be advantageous.

About the Role:
Here at Construction Youth Trust, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and ready to dive into a supported internship. This is a fantastic chance to get a hands-on feel for what it's like to work in the charity sector. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the Trust e.g. participation in strategic working or Task & Finish groups.
We are particularly looking for individuals at the start of their career interested in working directly with young people within our Delivery Team
As a Delivery Team Intern, your key duties and responsibilities could include:
· Supporting the team to deliver fun and engaging programmes and activities for young people to get them ready for the working world by building on their skills and confidence.
· Supporting the team in the development of effective long-term working relationships with schools and referral partners.
· Supporting the team to enlist, manage and coordinate the support of local industry partners to connect young people with opportunities and employers that match their unique strengths and interests.
· Supporting the team with administrative tasks, helping to register, monitor, and evaluate the young people participating in programmes and activities.
· Please note that you will be required to travel across London regularly
About You
What we’re looking for in our new Intern(s) includes:
· Ideally educated to Level 3 (BTEC, A- Level, etc) or equivalent experience.
· Enthusiastic about connecting young people to opportunities, particularly those facing significant barriers to work.
· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, as our Intern you will be expected to get involved in a variety of our programmes and activities.
· IT literate and digitally savvy
· Ability to communicate professionally with a range of people including young people, schools, funders, universities, industry representatives, training providers and community organisations.
· A willingness to learn about career opportunities offered by the modern construction and wider built environment sector.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Officer who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a finance or operations role who is looking to build on that foundation and grow their skills in a mission-driven organisation.
You don’t need to have specific qualifications in finance or accounting - what matters most is a strong interest in charity finance, excellent attention to detail, and motivation to grow professionally. You may have worked in a junior finance, administrative, or operations role, and are now ready to take on broader responsibilities and deepen your expertise.
The Finance & Operations Officer is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Responsibilities
Finance

Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required

Processing and coding invoices in Xero accounting software ahead of weekly payment runs

Checking that correct coding and approval procedures are followed for staff expenses

The Finance and Grant Controller role is part of the central finance team and sits within the Management Accounting function which provides our country programmes and the region offices with professional and technical finance leadership for WaterAid UK’s international work. The role will work closely with the Project Delivery Lead and the Monitoring and Learning Coordinator for the Multi-country Urban Water Project.
About the role:
The Finance and Grant Controller will manage all financial aspects of WaterAid’s Multi-country Urban Water Project, ensuring rigorous financial oversight, compliance with donor requirements, and alignment with organisational financial policies. This is a bold initiative aiming to raise $40 million and reach two million people with clean water in urban areas across six anchor countries: Colombia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Cambodia.
In this role, you will:
1. Financial Monitoring and Reporting
- Prepare and review all financial reports in line with specific contract requirements and deadlines
- Monitor project budgets, tracking actual expenditures against budget allocations and flagging variances to the project team
- Monitor movement in exchange rates and local currency budget variations
2. Budget and Forecasting Development & Grant Support
- Assist program staff in preparing detailed budgets in each country project
- Deliver regular reforecasts, ensuring realistic timing of spend
- Conduct cost allocations and ensure appropriate coding of expenses
3. Compliance and Controls
- Review contracts and grant agreements to identify financial requirements, restrictions, and deliverables
- Ensure financial activities comply with contractual terms, organisational policies, and legal and regulatory requirements, including guiding eligible costs, procurement, and financial compliance to programme teams
- Support related audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and compliant
4. Finance Business Partner
- Collaborate closely with programme lead, providing consolidated financial reporting, financial insights and supporting decision-making.
- Coordinate timely reporting to cross-federation leadership teams from multiple country programmes
- Advise on reallocation of budget if required to meet programme delivery targets
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
Technical Qualifications and Skills
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Experience in the use of SUN, or a similar multi-dimensional accounting system.
- Experience in managing programme or project finance funded by institutional donors ( e.g. USAID, FCDO or other reputable organisation)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skill
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge and experience of donor fund management in an international context
- Experience of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting of projects
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide insightful narrative for range of audiences
- Finance Business Partnering experience with senior stakeholders
Desirable skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with staff at different levels and from different cultural backgrounds including experience of coaching or training
- Knowledge of development issues and the sector, preferably gained in an International Development Organisation
- Knowledge of French or Portuguese will be an advantage

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional and customer-focussed HR leadership, advice and support to academies to enable leaders to improve and support staff engagement, tackle workforce priorities, maximise workforce efficiency and achieve academy people objectives
- Influencing and supporting the strategic direction of academies by providing and analysing workforce information and developing HR initiatives to respond to needs or example, developing effective retention plans, improving sickness absence and reducing agency expenditure

Financial Controller
About you
As Financial Controller you will oversee our finance function ensuring that our management reporting, payroll, VAT, forecasting, sales and purchase ledger processes run as efficiently as possible and safeguard the assets of the charity.
We run payroll for around 400 staff and one large part of the role will be improving the processes around this, with support from the Finance Director and Head of HR.
You will line manage and support the development of two Finance Officers. You will report to the Director of Finance & ICT.
This is a new role and is a great opportunity to make your mark in a fascinating and challenging organisation.
