We are looking to recruit an Assistant Family Services Practitioner to assist with the provision of our whole family holistic approach. You will plan and support safe, creative, inclusive, and appropriate play opportunities for children and young people from a range of age groups. In addition to this, you will work with the team to ensure that children are supported with their learning through activities such as after school, homework clubs, practical and other activities when required. You will also work with the team to assist with the development and delivery of the Family Services outreach offer which will require some traveling to other settings to deliver our services off site. These may include temporary accommodation hotels or community venues in Westminster. Additional travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Please note that this role requires flexibility to allow for changes to the weekly rota to meet the needs of our clients. The Family Centre is open on Saturdays and will require some Saturday working. The work pattern rotates from Tuesday – Saturday or Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate scientific research grant applications using a specialist grants database
- Manage peer review invitations and correspondence, monitoring replies via inbox
- Create reviewer accounts and assign reviews in the grant system
- Update Excel tracking sheets to monitor review progress and highlight gaps
- Provide general administrative support to the Springboard grants team
- Support planning for an awardee engagement event (Optional, time-permitting)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant applications and related documents.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely processing of grant requests.
- Provide excellent administrative support to the grants management team.
The Successful Candidate:
- Scientific background or familiarity with research terminology
- Experience or familiarity with peer review
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly desirable

We are working with an incredible health charity to to recruit a Direct Marketing Officer to join their multi-million pound team.
You will already have some experience of working in a fundraising environment, ideally with experience of direct marketing, individual giving and gaming products. Youll enjoy working as part of a busy and high performing team which works to demanding targets.
This role is primarily based in either the London or Sheffield office. The hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home. This role is closing on 3rd August and interviewing the following week.
The Role
Join a high performing team of ten, reporting to the Senior DM Manager, and alongside another Officer with the support of an executive.
Plan, deliver and manage direct marketing campaigns to recruit, develop and build relationships with gaming supporters.
Management of direct marketing activities including briefing agencies, sourcing material, managing data selections, appraising creative copy and artwork.
Take accountability for ensuring that assigned Direct Marketing campaigns are managed against agreed expenditure levels.
Track, analyse and report on results from assigned Direct Marketing campaigns.
Brief and manage internal and external suppliers, acting as point of contact for day to day queries and results management.
The Candidate
Experience of working in direct marketing and/or individual giving, ideally with gaming activities such as lottery and raffles.
Experience of working with external suppliers, including managing agencies.
