You will be joining the newly formed Opportunities Team which has been designed to be holistically focussed on the growth of giver engagement, Partner engagement and thought leadership. Stewardship is often a surprise to new and potential clients and partners as they learn the breadth and depth of the services we can offer them, their families, their churches and the ministries they love. The Opportunities Team seeks to serve whoever we meet and triage their needs to the right expert in the Stewardship family.
In this role you will work as part of our Opportunities Team to invite people into the community of generous Christian givers in the UK and serve UK Churches with support services and giving needs. You will attend events, speak on behalf of Stewardship and deliver content with excellence. You will have the opportunity to support the growth of Stewardship over the coming years as we identify new clients to join the ecosystem that enables Kingdom ministry to happen all over the UK and around the world.

The successful applicant will be expected to be a practising Christian and to clearly demonstrate a personal commitment to the mission, principles, values and practices contained in our Ethos Statement, by:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Data Engineer to join our growing Data and Insights team. Stewardship is growing in its data capabilities and developing an ever-stronger data led culture. Fundamental to that is having accurate, reliable, meaningful data in the right place at that right time.
The Data Engineer will support stakeholders, including data analysts, our technology teams, and software developers, to ensure optimal and consistent data delivery. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of growing and optimizing Stewardship’s existing data architecture and integrating external datasets to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Fundraiser to join our team. Your role will primarily involve building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, aiming to secure financial support for the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and developing strong connections with businesses in order to generate income and meet targets.
Additionally, you will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the charity by identifying new corporate partnership opportunities and fostering existing relationships.
The role will also include:
- Develop and manage long-term corporate partnerships.
- Research and approach new business prospects.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to inspire support.
- Collaborate across Income Generation teams to develop joint initiatives to maximise impact.
- Represent St Richard’s Hospice at networking events, presentations, and public engagements to expand corporate networks and raise St Richard’s profile within the business community
This role will be based at the Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester.
This role requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service check.
About you
You will bring,
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising or sales targets and securing financial support from corporates.
- Excellent networking and communication skills — confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- A good understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and how businesses can partner with charities.
- Demonstrate financial acumen to effectively manage budgets, track fundraising progress and evaluate the impact of corporate partnerships
- Strong organisational and presentation skills, with a proactive and resilient approach.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel across Worcestershire
