The Woodland Trust is looking for a Corporate Fundraising Executive who will be the first point of contact for businesses looking to support our work-whether through donations, sponsorship, or wider partnerships.
The Role:
- Qualify and manage leads, directing businesses to suitable giving options and triaging complex opportunities to relevant team members.
- You’ll play a crucial role in inspiring and converting initial interest into meaningful, long-term relationships that benefit both the organisation and our corporate supporters.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress using our CRM system, and report monthly KPIs to the Corporate Partnerships Manager.
- Manage a portfolio of non-complex corporate partnerships, ensuring obligations are met and relationships nurtured.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Supporter Services, and Fundraising, to deliver effective communications and support.
- Contribute to team fundraising targets by converting enquiries into income and delivering value-aligned corporate relationships.
- This is an 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
- This role includes a mix of working from home, at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire and travel to site visits and events.
The Candidate:
- Experience of working in fundraising/third sector or in a targeted communications environment
- Excellent relationship development and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be confident and comfortable communicating through formal and informal methods to engage and inspire a range of audiences and individuals
- Experience of managing own workload across a portfolio
- IT literate, specifically experience of Microsoft office and database management
- Ability to travel as required to meetings, site visits and events within the region and the UK, with some overnight stays.
- Full clean UK driving licence

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to help enable successful change by guiding stakeholders on our business initiatives throughout the organisation.
The Role:
• This is a key role in the Digital enablement team that is responsible for supporting the organisation with complex multi-stakeholder programmes within business processes.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discussions to capture business needs and define problem statements.
• Develop business cases, process maps (As-Is/To-Be), requirements documentation and solution options analysis.
• Define and manage risks, issues and interdependencies within and between projects.
• Mentor and coach junior business analysts to build capability and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the data engineer and architects to ensure data flows, definitions and models support business requirements.
• Support with complex multi-stakeholder programmes involving business process redesign, system change and data migration.
• Act as a trusted adviser to project managers, product owners and business leads.
• This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than once a month on average.
The Candidate:

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help us Trust-wide with our cyber security programme.
The Role:
· This role is responsible for acting as a security lead on all cloud infrastructure.
· You’ll develop and implement a leading cyber security programme to protect against cyber threats to the organisation.
· You’ll communicate effectively working in collaboration with IT partners and support the Head of Technology and Operations with projects.
· You’ll maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring its compliance with relevant frameworks and legislation.
· You’ll manage and lead a cloud security design for new systems and migrations through the implementation phase as a part of the DE Programme and other projects.
· You’ll develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan to safeguard the organisation’s data and operations.
· You’ll lead on cyber security reviews and discussions with stakeholders and working groups.
· This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required once a month on average.
The Candidate:

The Woodland and Nature Recovery Manager at Western Forest will manage the delivery of high-quality forestry, woodland and nature recovery activities within the Western Forest. This role ensures that all initiatives are aligned with the Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) and focuses on woodland creation, agroforestry and sustainable forest management. The manager will oversee a team of five officers, based primarily within partnership organisations, and work closely with England’s Community Forests and many other partners to maximise impact.
This role will enable the sharing of expertise across the Western Forest area.
A key focus will be to work with partners across the region to seek out opportunities to create large scale woodland creation projects that will deliver at landscape scale. These new projects will seek alternative funding streams that will generate a variety of activities such as tree planting, timber production and biodiversity protection.
We are England's Community Forest for the West of England, now hosting the Western Forest, England's first new national forest!
