For this role, our expectation is that you will come to London 1 day each week for team, project or stakeholder meetings. You may also find it useful to visit member hospices. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there. 

Contractually this role is London-based.

You’ll be our leading technical voice for data, shaping and delivering our Data Strategy, guiding colleagues, and ensuring modern, effective ways of working with data. You’ll work with internal systems and sector datasets (plus third‑party sources like population data) to build the reporting that helps hospices compare services, reach underserved communities, and make better decisions. 

We’ve recently invested in modern Microsoft data tools and updated our key systems to provide the foundations for the future. This is a chance to define how we use data for the long term, from engineering robust pipelines to creating the dashboards leaders rely on every day. 

In the short term, your focus will be: 

• Overseeing the introduction of a new member data collection portal being developed by a third-party organisation.
• Developing, deploying and improving our internal performance reporting and hospice sector reporting using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.

You’ll be passionate about data and using it to improve decision making and operational processes. You’ll be able to engage with colleagues at all levels to understand their needs, champion good data management and reporting practices, and provide technical advice and guidance.

You’ll join a high performing ICT and Data team of 8 colleagues.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team. you will empower and motivate both our  male and female residents and participants to achieve their personal goals and gain greater independence, supporting their reintegration into the community. You will provide tailored, person-centred support using a recovery model, ensuring our services are flexible and responsive to individual needs while meeting the expectations of our commissioners and stakeholders.

Your focus is on successful community reintegration and a sustained quality of life, guided by a recovery model that enables clients to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities through interactive and preventative approaches. We provide intensive accommodation-based support (six flats) and floating support (dispersed flats) designed to address the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service

About You

We are hiring a Resettlement Coordinator to support residents who have complex needs and are ready to live independently out of residential support. You will provide practical support to residents who require help with finding and sustaining suitable accommodation and engaging with community based services such as councils, training providers, and local authorities.  Our residents face challenges such as with their mental health, substance use, and homelessness. In this role, you will support them in overcoming their personal barriers to they can move forward in achieving their goals. Our aim is to reduce inequalities and improve access to health, employment, training, and social care.

• Supporting residents to reach their goals, including to find suitable accommodation, through plans, assessments, reviews, and meetings.
• Developing and monitoring move on plans, liaising with partners to provide housing and resettlement support to residents.

The Role

The Financial Controller plays a critical role in safeguarding MSF UK’s resources so they can be used where they are needed most.

You will lead the financial accounting function, ensuring MSF UK’s finances are accurate, compliant and well-controlled, while also driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. Building on strong existing foundations, you will help modernise and streamline financial operations so they remain fit for a growing and increasingly complex organisation.

Working closely with the Director of Finance & Services, the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and colleagues across MSF UK and the wider MSF movement, you will ensure that financial stewardship actively supports humanitarian impact.

What You’ll Do

You will lead MSF UK’s financial accounting function, balancing rigour, efficiency and service. This includes:

• Ensuring strong financial stewardship: leading statutory accounts, audit, tax compliance and regulatory reporting, including to MSF International.
• Maintaining robust controls: safeguarding MSF UK’s assets through effective internal controls, risk management and reserves oversight.
• Overseeing core financial operations: ensuring accurate, timely processing of transactions, payments and financial records.
• Managing funds and grants: overseeing restricted and unrestricted funds and MSF grant flows, ensuring donor and organisational requirements are met.
• Leading systems and process improvement: driving automation, system enhancements and improvement projects to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Leading and developing the team: managing and supporting a high-performing financial accounting team and fostering a collaborative, improvement-focused culture.
• Trusted technical advisor: providing clear assurance and expert accounting and tax advice to senior leaders, trustees and colleagues.

About You

You are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience leading a financial accounting function in a complex organisation. You bring strong technical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to integrity and transparency.

You are:

• Confident leading statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance.
• Experienced in improving systems and processes, including through technology and automation.
• A collaborative leader who values developing people and building strong relationships.
• Motivated by purpose, with a desire to use your skills to support a mission that matters.

Experience in the charity sector, managing complex VAT environments or working within international organisations is desirable.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota varying between 08:00 - 21:30 which includes 12.5 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break, approximately 3 shifts per week. You may need to be flexible on these hours as per service requirements.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) on day shifts with a rolling rota. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will work with residents to create tailored support plans, identify their needs, goals, and skills, and motivate them to reach their potential. You will encourage engagement in activities and the community, provide tools for life skills, and ensure effective risk management with a strong focus on public protection.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage them with other people, communities, and opportunities

The Role

The Finance & Operations Coordinator is a central position in a small, purpose-driven team. The role provides direct support to the Managing Director and works closely with the Finance Committee to ensure that the charity’s financial and operational systems are well managed, compliant and effective.

This is a broad and hands-on role that involves managing day-to-day UK operations, supporting financial oversight, ensuring smooth coordination with our in-country partners, and keeping our administrative framework in excellent order.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero, reconciling transactions and processing payments for invoices, payroll and expenses.

• Allocate receipts and donations to the correct funds and ensure supporting documentation is filed systematically.

• Prepare and submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC.

• Collate quarterly financial and narrative reports from Moroccan partner NGOs and follow up on missing information.

• Support the Managing Director and Finance Committee with budget preparation, analysis and audit documentation.

• Ensure that annual accounts and financial reports are submitted in line with Charity Commission requirements.

Operations and Administration

• Oversee and improve shared filing systems (Teams/SharePoint), ensuring that all administrative and financial records are accurate, up to date and easy to access.

• Manage the main email inbox, responding to or redirecting correspondence promptly and professionally.

• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and annual project visits in Morocco.

• Support the Managing Director with scheduling, documentation, and general administrative follow-up.

• Monitor compliance tasks, ensuring that all Charity Commission and internal governance requirements are up to date and properly documented.

Donor and Partner Relations

• Act as a first point of contact for donors, supporter schools, hotels and individuals.

• Process and acknowledge donations, issue receipts and maintain accurate donor records.

• Proactively follow up with existing and potential supporters, helping to build and maintain relationships.

• Liaise with Moroccan partners to ensure that project and financial reporting are on track and shared on time.

Governance and Oversight

More about the role

As Deputy Hospital Manager, you will support the Hospital Lead in overseeing all aspects of the hospital’s daily operations while contributing to long-term planning and service development. This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Practice Manager in a veterinary setting who is ready to step into a broader, mission-driven leadership opportunity.

You will provide direct line management for our receptionists, taking responsibility for recruitment, induction, rotas, training and performance management. Ensuring our reception teams deliver consistently excellent service will be central to your role. You will ensure all financial processes from cashing up to payment plans and debt collection are completed accurately and in line with internal policies and external regulations.  You will also provide support in the coordination of onsite Information Services and Estates and Facilities activities, as well as the welfare management of strays. 
 

A core part of your responsibilities will be ensuring reception areas operate safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety requirements, data protection rules and organisational SOPs. You will oversee robust stock control processes for both clinical and non-clinical items, ensure all non-clinical complaints are processed appropriately, and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to maintain smooth and joined-up client journeys. 
 

Alongside this, you will provide comprehensive administration services that support our clinical teams in delivering veterinary care to thousands of pets each year. You will play an active role in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reception and client services, making them more efficient, effective and aligned with the needs of the hospital. Experience in fundraising or events is a valuable advantage and will help strengthen our community engagement efforts.

Strategic leadership & organisational development

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Leadership Team, shaping organisational strategy and translating it into robust financial, people and operational plans.
