You will lead a team of programme managers, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and represent Scope externally to share our progress and achievements.

The role
In this role, you will guide three key programmes that support Scope and our colleagues to make the biggest impact for disabled people. You will work closely with senior colleagues, champion agile ways of working, and support teams across Scope to understand and grow their impact.
You will:
· Lead the delivery of three major programmes, making sure they stay on track and deliver real impact.
· Champion agile and flexible ways of working, using testing and learning to drive improvement.
· Support and guide teams across Scope to understand how their work contributes to An Equal Future.
· Oversee progress against Scope’s strategy, reviewing impact and advising on where changes are needed.
· Report to the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, and external stakeholders on our progress.
· Build strong partnerships with funders and external organisations.
· Lead and develop your team so they can do their best work.
· Represent Scope at external meetings and events, promoting our strategy and achievements.

This is a pivotal moment in the fight against dementia. Developing our organisational and brand strategy over the last few years has played a key part in raising the profile of our cause. Now we’re building on that momentum - and successful, strategic creative development and execution of our brand is essential to maintain our reputation and credibility as a leading dementia charity.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the senior in-house creative team, inspiring colleagues to produce consistently excellent creative work and nurturing our brand. Through robust research, the department shapes and drives improvements to cancer policy and practice across prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, inequalities, and innovation.
What will I be doing?
Overseeing the planning, development and delivery of commissioned prevention policy research (PPR) and supporting the development of the new prevention policy strategy
Being responsible for signing off all policy research commissioned contracts, briefs, and outputs, ensuring they meet the Cancer Intelligence Team's evidence standards, adhering to wider CRUK policies, and aligning directly to the PIC prevention strategy
Supporting team members to maintain and develop their own knowledge bases and skillsets through appropriate training, horizon scanning and involvement in commissioned work
Developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the area of cancer prevention to identify common areas of work and identify gaps providing effective and pragmatic solutions
