About the NGSN London Regional Board

The NGSN London Regional Board brings together partner organisations to enhance collaboration, service delivery, treatment, and understanding around gambling harm within the London Region.

The Board has a joint vision to build a strategic approach to raise awareness and provide education and treatment around gambling-related harm. The Board is chaired by Betknowmore UK’s Founder & CEO Frankie. 

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our stakeholder engagement initiatives with local authorities across London. This critical role will drive forward the board's vision by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring effective collaboration between local authorities, public health services, and NGSN partners. By positioning gambling harm as a public health issue, we aim to embed harm reduction within broader health systems, ensuring improved access to support and care across London.

The ideal candidate possesses proven Project Management experience and demonstrates initiative as a self-starter who excels at making sound, proactive decisions that drive project progress. We seek someone who can work autonomously with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with our predominantly remote team. While this position is funded by GambleAware, the successful applicant will be employed by Betknowmore UK.

Job Title: Project Manager

Hours:Full-time (37hrs) – 12 month contract 

Salary: : £36,000 -38,000, depending on experience

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement

• Scope out opportunities to work with Local Authorities

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Organisation

ImpactEd Group supports education and purpose-driven organisations to maximise their potential. We do this by helping our partners to be consistently impactful and operationally sustainable.

This role is within our Evaluation Practice. The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. We work with more than 1,400 schools and 80 education organisations, serving more than a quarter of million pupils. This includes helping our partners to design high-quality research projects, delivering them, and providing systems and tools for data collection, reporting and impact benchmarking.

Opportunity 1:Manager, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.

You will act as a consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will act as a project lead, delivering high-quality research projects at scale, and support the creation of specific deliverables for projects led by others. This covers the end to end of research design and delivery, including the creation of Theories of Change and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analysis, and impact reporting to help our partners learn about the effectiveness of their programmes. At manager level you will have the opportunity to take on larger-scope partnerships supported by a project sponsor at senior manager level or above.

Opportunity 2: Manager - Research Partnerships, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation but with a specific focus in our TRAPs team (targeted research and action projects). The TRAPs team are responsible for our national research projects, and work with both individual schools and groups of schools to sign them up to research cohorts: ensuring they can both contribute to a national research programme as well as gaining specific insights for their own school improvement journey.

You will act as a lead on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their strategy and approach. For example, you could lead on the management of a key multi-academy trust, or could be supporting other team members with individual school partnerships, as well as supporting the Associate Director of TRAPs with overall research project design and planning. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will work closely with an Associate Director, lead on school group account management and support with the overall running and development of the TRAPs team.

About You

We are open to a range of backgrounds, but would expect prior experience of research and evaluation delivery and partnership management. Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team.  You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support the procurement function within Harris Federation. This role is essential in ensuring that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with public sector procurement regulations and institutional policies.

You will play a key role in supporting the Procurement Team by ensuring timely delivery of resources and services, providing administrative support to the Team and having responsibility for procurement processes and policies.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Procurement processes and files

• To maintain and have responsibility for the Procurement Team’s eFiling system/SharePoint folders.
• Responsibility for overseeing the registration of new suppliers onto the Procurement Team’s e-tendering portal.
• To issue, collate and consolidate information requests from stakeholders at various levels.
• Requisition and reconciliation of purchase orders with invoices and liaise with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• To manage low level categories where appropriate.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports and spend analysis for the Procurement Team and Senior Leadership.

Administration and diary management

• To provide administrative support to the Procurement Team; team calendar management, scanning, shredding, downloading and filing documents.
• To arrange and co-ordinate supplier presentations; organizing meetings rooms, receiving guests, taking meeting notes etc.
• To deal with day-to-day enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist academies with their requests relating to the scheme of delegation, approval thresholds, purchase requests, conducting benchmarking exercises and in some instances obtaining competitive quotes via our frameworks or recommended suppliers to ensure best value.
• Maintain a procurement calendar to manage contract renewals, tender deadlines, and key procurement events.
• Coordinate supplier meetings and performance review meetings with suppliers.
• Maintain and have responsibility for procurement mailboxes.
• To maintain Procurement’s intranet pages.
