Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and effective Autistic Lived Experience Trainer to support us to deliver an exciting new programme of work. We have been commissioned by an NHS organisation to deliver and support the roll out of autism-informed care training to all staff working in their mental health inpatient settings. This programme of work will run for 9 months, and will include the delivery of various half day and full day autism-informed training sessions both in-person and online. We will also be working closely with Experts by Experience to become skilled and confident in delivery of this training to support the organisational sustainability of this knowledge. The programme of work will also embed an evaluation of the training to demonstrate learning and impact.

The Autistic Lived Experience Trainer will be working closely alongside our Lived Experience Lead to deliver all aspects of the programme, with support from our wider staff team.

Role Description

• Co-facilitate training sessions both online and in-person to staff from various professions and in various roles across mental health in-patient settings.
• Deliver pre-prepared content and facilitate reflective conversations.
• Monitor feedback and adjust content and delivery as necessary.
• Collect and analyse feedback data, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Support Experts by Experience to become confident with delivery of content.
• Ensure training content remains relevant and includes the latest research, alongside lived experience insight.
• Use own lived experience insight to supplement content and support reflection and catalyse change.
• Liaise with NHS colleagues to support training session logistics
• To represent Neurodiverse Connection nationally, regionally and locally as appropriate and to promote the work that we do.
• To work alongside the Neurodiverse Connection staff and associate team to ensure delivery of high-quality work.
• Frequent travel within Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver in person training.
• Some national travel may also be required to support training and delivery on other projects.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support; and promote and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Training Officer to support the wellbeing and development of our SANEline volunteers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our volunteers feel valued and supported to provide a high standard of emotional support to our callers.

Working closely with the Training and Volunteer Manager, you will help ensure that all volunteers receive timely, appropriate and emphatic support. You will also play role in delivering welfare support, planning and delivering training sessions and promoting volunteer engagement and retention.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable, hands-on experience in delivering wellbeing support and training for volunteers who provide emotional support to vulnerable callers.

Salary: £27,000 -29,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Redemption Roasters Barista Trainer

Role summary:

To deliver barista training courses in HMP High Down and HMP Downview. The goal of the training is to prepare residents for employment in hospitality on release.

Overview:
Redemption Roasters is looking to appoint a skilled and passionate barista to deliver training courses in HMP High Down and HMP Downview.  Both prisons are located in Sutton. The training will be delivered to small groups of prison residents who are looking to learn a new skill and are interested in a career in hospitality on release. The successful applicant will be offered comprehensive on-boarding training, with opportunities to shadow experienced trainers.

Duties:

• Deliver a tried and tested Redemption Roasters barista training course, including espresso preparation, milk steaming technique and pouring, alternative brewing methods, cleaning equipment, and basic grinder and machine maintenance. 
• Liaise with prison staff, including the Prison Employment Lead and Activities Manager, to ensure courses are well-attended.
• Act as a positive role model for course participants and encourage participants to grow outside of their comfort zones whilst respecting professional boundaries.
• Conduct basic assessments during the course, coordinate the completion of feedback forms, and track learner journeys, in line with the guidance given by the prisons.
• Provide one-to-one support to facilitate sustainable employment for interested participants on their release. 
• Deliver additional training to participants as is required; this would typically be in Redemption Roasters 13 coffee shops. 
• Other ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the programme in HMP High Down, HMP Downview and wider success of the Impact team at Redemption Roasters. 

Schedule:

• On joining the team, the Barista Trainer will complete a minimum of three-weeks of on-boarding training. This will include an induction to HMP High Down and HMP Downview and shadowing experienced Redemption Roasters trainers in a prison environment.
• During a 12 month period, the Barista Trainer will deliver 7 three-week courses in HMP High Down and 6 one week courses in HMP Downview. 
• During training delivery weeks, the Barista Trainer will typically be based in prison Monday - Thursday (with the Trainer arriving at the prison for 8am), with Fridays in the Redemption Roasters HQ in Kings X, London. 
• During non-delivery weeks, the Barista Trainer will visit the prisons to support course recruitment (usually one day a week), as well as delivering one-to-one support and ‘top up’ training to participants working across the Redemption Roasters coffee shops.

Personal specification:

Essential

• 2+ years' experience as a barista and/or barista training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Empathetic and kind, with a strong belief in the Redemption Roasters mission 

Desirable

• SCA Certifications
• Experience working with vulnerable people 
• Experience in managing sensitive personal data

Terms & Benefits

About the role:

The postholder will support the delivery of a specialist domestic abuse (DA) project in partnership with Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) in the London borough of Brent. The role aims to raise awareness and promote best practice in responding to domestic abuse across CLCH staff, improving support for patients impacted by domestic abuse. This will involve delivering training, workshops, and guidance to health professionals, providing consultancy on embedding DA response pathways, and helping CLCH navigate referrals to local domestic abuse support agencies. The role combines professional training, advocacy, and systems change to strengthen the health sector’s response to domestic abuse. The postholder will work across the Brent borough, attending community hubs and co-locating to deliver services when needed.

The postholder may be approached by staff seeking advice or consultation regarding male victims of domestic abuse. While the role’s primary focus remains on supporting women, the postholder will be open to supporting male victims through appropriate signposting and referral guidance. They will also be willing to undertake relevant training (e.g. Respect toolkit) to ensure inclusive and informed responses. Training will be provided.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Advisor & Trainer you will need the below experience and skills:

• A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.
• Experience in designing, delivering, and promoting engaging training and learning sessions on domestic abuse, tailored to professionals and stakeholders across a variety of settings.
• Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders as well as experience of working within in multi-agency environment.
• Ability to provide consultancy and guidance to multidisciplinary teams on domestic abuse-related issues, offering informed advice and support.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written), with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse professionals and stakeholders.

The role:

Curriculum management

• Ensure the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework meets the regulatory standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators, regulators, and statutory boards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant, effective, and aligned with national standards, legislation, and service needs.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery across training sites by collecting feedback, audit results, and performance data; maintain accurate records of trainee outcomes and produce reports to support internal governance and external regulatory compliance.
• Support the use of digital platforms to track trainee progress against curriculum outcomes.

Trainee Support & Progression

• Support the governance of the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework by maintaining accurate records and documentation.

We are currently looking for a Training Support Officer to join our team.

About the role

This role provides tactical and targeted support to our District teams as we seek to enable our volunteers to deliver training to both cadets and volunteers in line with the Sea Cadets Learning Strategy.  This post is responsible for supporting the delivery of the district training, including Royal Marine Cadet (RMC) training activity at Troop level. The work location can be flexible (home or office-based) requiring regular evening and weekend working supporting our volunteers by attending virtual meetings and delivering online training.

Responsibilities

• To provide functional support to our area Training Managers and District and RMC Troop Teams, ensure the district training plans are delivered, amended as necessary throughout the year, to the training plan and in line with identified training needed to best support the delivery of the Sea Cadet Experience.
• To support specific District Teams including the District Training Officer (DTO), District Recreational Officer/ Deputy District Officer (DRO/DDO), District Staff Officers (DSO), and RMC Troop Commanders (Trp Cdr) identified as requiring support under our change management process.
• To work closely with all District Officers to increase the number of certificated, current and competent instructors, and develop the capability and capacity of District Instructors to deliver training to cadets and volunteers across all Districts.
• To support the ATOs/DTOs/RMC Troops in all training matters (including uniformed and unit management teams) with a specific focus on Districts/Troops that need support.
• Support our Programmes and Virtual Training Manager with the co-ordination the of delivery of appropriate MSSC and other approved training packages (including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award) appropriate to the age and experience of cadets across the organisation.
• Work under the leadership of our Assistant Director Sea Cadet Learning monitor performance against set targets set by the National Support Centre to ensure equitable access for cadets and adults to the Sea Cadet Experience.

Requirements

• • Experience in working with youth groups and awareness and understanding on the challenges young people face.
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting a programme of training activity.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring volunteers.
  • Experience of drawing data to create support plans for delivery of activity.
  • Experienced trainer with the ability to deliver engaging and impactful training.

Pro Bono Community is seeking a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us achieve greater access to justice.

Pro Bono Community is a registered charity that has developed specialised training programmes for students, trainees and lawyers covering the practical skills involved in delivering free legal advice and areas of social welfare law. In conjunction with the training, the charity arranges and manages volunteering placements at Law Centres and other advice agencies. The charity’s activities include a number of grant-funded projects which the coordinator will be heavily involved in.

About the role

Pro Bono Community is looking for a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us run programmes aimed at improving the amount and quality of access to justice by training law students and others and then placing them to work as volunteers at advice agencies.

The Training and Volunteer Coordinator will report to and work alongside the Director to undertake work supporting the charity’s activities with a focus on recruiting and training students and lawyers and then coordinating volunteering placements for them at Law Centres and advice agencies. The role also includes administrative work relating to a pioneering digital advice clinic the charity runs in conjunction with a Citizens Advice agency in London.

This is a full-time role with a salary of £30-33,000 depending on experience and the charity is seeking to appoint someone with knowledge of training and the legal/advice sectors and/or experience in a similar role. Occasional weekend work may be required. The role will involve working from home with some travel involved to London and elsewhere in support of the charity’s activities. The role includes annual leave of 25 days and a workplace pension scheme.

Responsibilities

Training and General Administration

· Producing and printing publicity and training materials

· Maintaining databases, content management systems, websites, social media and other tools

· Dealing with enquiries, including those made via the PBC mailbox and telephone line

The Role

Harris Hill urgently seeks a Training and Events Coordinator to support an education charity whilst they recruit permanently.

This role is an immediate start, full time with 2dpw in the office, and likely to run for 4-8 weeks, depending. 

Duties in a nutshell:

Support in coordination of our Staff Network Training Event – Around 2500 attendees (hybrid delivery in multiple locations)

Support in participant comms around this event with registration, comms and calendar invites

Support with virtual delivery of other small sessions – polls, breakout rooms etc

On the day support with a few smaller in-person training sessions – registration, catering, printing of resources

Production and analysis of training data – attendance, engagement, feedback etc.

Administration of our Learning Management System with setting up and creation of Events and uploading of resources (training will be provided)

Support with e-learning module design using templated in Articulate rise (training will be provided).

£28k plus holiday paid hourly, working 9-5:30 full time. May rise to £30k for an experienced candidate.
