What You’ll Be Doing

As our Head of Communications & Advocacy, you’ll shape and amplify the charity’s voice across the UK. Leading a dynamic team, you’ll drive strategy, lead high-impact campaigns, and ensure that Allergy UK remains a trusted, credible, and influential voice.

• Develop and deliver integrated communications and advocacy strategies

We have a new opportunity for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) Team Leader to join the 'Pathfinder' project in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

This project will support victims of domestic abuse in the Family Court. You will be responsible for IDVA practice and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all requested supporting documentation.

The post is for 37.5 hours a week and whilst initially fixed term, this may be extended.

About the Role

As a IDVA Team Leader (Pathfinder project) you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, and will take referrals from CAFCASS to arrange support for victims of domestic abuse entering or going through family court proceedings. You will allocate these to the team of IDVA's, that you will directly manage. You will case review all open supported cases. You will ensure all reports created are accurate and compliant with data protection legislation and guides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct support to IDVA and regular supervision / line management
• Report writing and checking for CAFCASS and other partners.
• Monitoring and recording activity and outcomes measured.

About You:

Ideally, you will have:

• - A good understanding around the issues of domestic abuse and its implications for children and young people
• - Knowledge of family court proceedings
• - Ability to write concise, factual, effective reports
• - Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships

You will need:

• Training for IDVA Managers, if available

About the role:

The Programmes Performance and Learning Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing our ability to report on the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of MAG’s work. You will work under the Head of the Programmes Performance and Learning Unit. You will also support MAG’s Contract Director working on the monitoring, evaluation and learning of complex, multi-country contracts, including the UK FCDO Global Mine Action Programme (GMAP) and the Dutch MFA Mine Action and Cluster Munitions (MACM) programme. You will have demonstrable experience in monitoring and evaluation in complex programmes, ideally in conflict or post-conflict environments. The Third Party Events Lead is a key role in the development of our growing fundraising events programme. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to the Third Party Events team, making sure they’re enabled to deliver our annual portfolio of MS Society events across the UK.

In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring our portfolio of events are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget, as well as being a key part of our Community, Events &Retail Fundraising leadership team.

Our role is to deliver engaging, high quality and innovative fundraising to our amazing supporters and provide an attractive, inclusive programme of events and activities throughout the year.

Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
• Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.
• Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• Participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• Ensure that all The Passage’s policies and procedures are adhered to and contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.
• At all times, undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high-quality standard of work, and to always work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of The Passage and uphold standards expected by The Fundraising Regulator.
• Undertake any other duties that may be required which are commensurate with the role.

The main duties of the role

To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
• To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery. 
• To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
• To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks. 
• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes.

Endell Street supports 53 men and women experiencing homelessness. We provide psychologically informed support to help residents progress through the Camden Hostels Pathway toward independence. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with housing, health, substance use, and employment needs. We’re looking for someone resilient, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused. 

Rosebery Avenue, Clerkenwell – 1 x Support Worker 

Rosebery Avenue is a 24/7 Skills and Employment service with 22 self-contained flats. The focus is on helping residents move into training, education, or work. You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a psychologically informed environment, working closely with partners like St Mungo’s Recovery College to deliver tailored support. 

Islington Mental Health Service, Islington – 1 x Support Worker 

This service supports 50 adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across two hostels and two semi-independent projects. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward independent living. 

About You 

Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. If you have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people; personal experience of homelessness yourself and some experience of supporting vulnerable people through a process of change, we encourage you to apply.  

You'll also need good interpersonal and listening skills; patience and resilience. We will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.
