Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts.

About the role

Listening Books provides membership across the UK, with a subsidised membership fee of £25 per year for individuals, and free membership to those who cannot afford to pay a fee. Purpose of the role

The Alcohol Behavioral Change Specialist is responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing, evidence-based programmes applying appropriate behavioural change models aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm, and promoting long-term behavioral change related to alcohol consumption.

As a leading charity focused on alcohol harm reduction, the postholder will be Drinkaware’s internal expert regarding alcohol harm to individuals and will have a good understanding of brief interventions, as well as information, advice and guidance including quality assurance across our work. They will work across the organisation providing expert advice and guidance.

This role requires a deep understanding of psychological theories, behavioral science, and addiction, along with practical experience in behavioral interventions. 

The Independent Training, delivered in collaboration with IPCAPA at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf) and the Anna Freud Centre/UCL is seeking progress advisors to support 4-5 trainees on the Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training from the start of their training through to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to guide and support trainees in their development as future child psychotherapists. The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. There will be regular team meetings with the year tutor other progress advisors responsible for the year group. Outside of this, working hours are flexible.

Do you want to be at the forefront of national reforms improving access to justice for sexual violence survivors? 

Women and Girls Network (WGN) and Centre for Women’s Justice (CWJ) are seeking a motivated and experienced lawyer with feminist values who will lead on this ground-breaking work.

The successful applicant will work as part of WGN, supporting survivors of sexual violence to access high quality legal advice relating to their rights as survivors of sexual violence within the criminal justice system, challenging unjust decision-making and disproportionate data requests that violate privacy rights, and increasing the legal awareness of WGN team members by developing and delivering training.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in criminal law or civil cases against public authorities, with a strong understanding of the impact of sexual and domestic violence. They will be self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of communicating complex legal matters clearly to diverse audiences. The candidate will also have a commitment to feminist principles and the values of WGN and CWJ, along with a deep dedication to challenging discrimination and supporting those affected by violence against women and children.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a pan-London organisation that supports women and girls affected by all forms of gender-based violence. Our overall aim is to promote, preserve and restore the mental health and well-being of women and girls who have experienced, or are at risk of, gender-based violence, whilst working towards a society free of gender-based violence.

We do this by:

• Providing women-only holistic and seamless therapeutic services, which meet women and girls’ needs and contribute to total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
• Evidencing the impact of gender-based violence and presenting this information in appropriate forums to affect social change in attitudes towards, and responses to, gender-based violence.

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Honeypot Children’s Charity who are looking for a Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive responsible for maximising fundraising income from a pipeline of existing, and new, corporate partners and community groups.

With headquarters in London, and three respite houses situated in the South of England, Wales and Scotland, Honeypot supports young carers aged 5 to 12 years old, who perform a surrogate adult role as a carer for a loved one, often single-handedly, and whose wellbeing is at significant risk, leading to anxiety, isolation, poor confidence, and low self-esteem.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for growing support from businesses (currently 30 small corporates) plus local groups. You’ll manage existing partners and build new relationships to hit a £150K annual target. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Fundraising
• Demonstrate strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to deliver persuasive and dynamic presentations.
• Be analytical in approach to tracking performance and impact.
• Bring a creative approach, to create persuasive employee engagement and CSR campaigns, and exciting community events and fundraising campaigns that inspire support. 
• Ensure attention to detail and maintain accurate records of donor and sponsorship activities on CRM system with good working knowledge of MS Office

Operations Officer

About the role:

Respect is looking to expand our Operations team with this new Operations Officer role. We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience in scheduling meetings, HR administration, and coordinating internal and external correspondence with a variety of stakeholders.
