• Salary £40,000 - £50,000 p/a (35 hours a week)

Role 

PSTT’s long term vision is: Excellent primary school teaching in every primary school in the UK.

The goal of PSTT is to make science more accessible and attractive to children of primary school age throughout the UK. Research has shown that children’s interest in science is shaped before they leave primary school. That makes it vital for them to have a positive experience of science from their early years onwards.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and trusts and foundations There is huge scope to develop both income streams at PSTT as this is a newly created position with the responsibility for growing and further developing these income streams. 

This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape the income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing partners with an incredible supporter experience. There will be an element of change as the organisation embeds an internal culture that effectively supports fundraising. 

This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser or manager level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or trusts & foundations pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income. PSTT is an organisation with big ambitions so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

Role 

Brainkind is the UK’s leading charity that supports people that have been affected by brain injury. The charity provides a range of services that includes innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to ensure that there is life after brain injury.

The Philanthropy Manager is responsible for leading the leadership and development of Brainkinds philanthropy fundraising activities. This role will focus on the delivery of Brainkind’s capital fundraising initiatives, cultivation and stewardship of high-net-worth individuals and grow strategic corporate partnerships. This is a newly created role that will play an integral part of the Brainkind fundraising strategy.

The primary duties for the role will include

·Develop and deliver capital fundraising strategies to support major infrastructure and service development projects

• Identify and secure major gifts (£25k+) to support capital appeals.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospective major donors.
• Identify, research, and cultivate new prospects through networking, events, and relationship mapping.
• Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s mission and values.
• Secure new corporate partnerships including strategic, multi-year, and employee engagement partnerships.

Experience and skills required for the role will include

·Previous experience of working in a philanthropy focused role with understanding of engaging with high-net-worth individuals, potential major donors and corporate partners.

·Strong organizational and planning skills

·Excellent relationship management and donor stewardship skills 

·Strong verbal and written communication skills 

·IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and an in-house CRM system

Working within the Fundraising & Communications Team, the Senior Fundraiser will develop and secure income from a range of funding sources including trusts and foundations, statutory funders, lottery distributors, corporate foundations and philanthropic supporters.

The successful candidate will contribute to both income generation and fundraising strategy, helping LTSB diversify income, strengthen supporter relationships and maximise opportunities for future growth.

While strong trusts and foundations experience is essential, we are looking for someone who can work flexibly across income streams, identify opportunities, build relationships and pursue the strongest prospects wherever they arise. This breadth is important in a small team, where fluidity and responsiveness help maximise income and ensure we follow the most promising routes to success.

You'll be equally at home talking research priorities with an ophthalmologist as you are meeting a family with an unexpected diagnosis.

This is a hands-on role in a lean, ambitious organisation. You'll hold real responsibility for strategy, governance and our external profile, working closely with a supportive Board of Trustees, but you'll also be close enough to the work to take ownership of the insight and data that prove it's working. We want to hear from you if the idea of taking real ownership of all aspects of running a charity appeals to you, if you are a self starter with the skills to manage a wide range of projects and ideas.

You do not need to have been a Chief Executive before. What you do need is real sector experience, credibility with funders and trustees, and the drive to turn ambition into a deliverable plan. THINK Data is the specialist data function of THINK, working exclusively in the charity and not-for-profit sector. We combine deep sector knowledge with hands-on technical expertise across three core areas: data health, analytics and insight, and CRM system challenges. 

Led by the Director of THINK Data, the team covers key elements of data strategy with charity clients to help them get more from their data and make better decisions. Discovering the challenges around the infrastructure of systems, processes and insight capability charities need to make data work harder for their mission. The Director leads on new business generation, team development, innovation in data products and thought leadership across the sector. Part of that innovation is exploring the best ways to use AI in how we work and how we advise clients, taking a considered and human approach. 

The Data Consultant role centres on data discovery and consultancy - working with charity clients to understand their data challenges and shape practical roadmaps for change. Alongside this you will contribute to client delivery, own key internal systems, and help develop new products and services.

The role offers a clear path to develop from Data Consultant to Senior Data Consultant, with the potential over time to progress towards Data Director. About the Role 

As Lead Health Advisor, you will be the charity's clinical specialist, providing occupational therapy expertise across our referral, volunteer and operational activities. 

You will work closely with the Referrals Officer, Operations Manager, volunteer health professionals and volunteer engineers to ensure that disabled people receive safe, person-centred and effective support. 

The role combines clinical guidance, volunteer engagement and quality improvement, making it ideal for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys collaborative working, creative problem-solving and helping others develop their knowledge and confidence. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Complex Case Support (40% of the role’s time). The postholder will help our Referrals Officer to assess the suitability of complex referrals and cases. 

• Clinical Advice and Legislative Guidance (30% of the role’s time). The postholder will review our current guidance to ensure we are following best practice.

• Volunteer Support and Continuous Improvement (30% of the role’s time). The postholder will offer adhoc advice to our volunteers to ensure they are supported and following best practice. 

About You 

We're looking for a qualified and HCPC/ RCOT registered Occupational Therapist, with over 3 years’ post-qualifying experience, who is excited by the opportunity to use their professional expertise in a creative and impactful charitable environment.
